અમારા બધાના રસોડામાં ઔષધીય મહત્વ રાખે છે. તેમાંથી હળદરનો એક જુદો જ સ્થાન છે. એ જેટલી આરોગ્ય માટે લાભપ્રદ છે તેટલી જ ધાર્મિક કાર્યમાં પણ તેનો મહત્વ છે. અહીં અમે હળદરના ધાર્મિક મહત્વ પર અમે ચર્ચા કરીશ 

હળદર વિશેષ પ્રકારની ઔષધિ છે, જેમાં દૈવીય ગુણ હોય છે. લગ્નમાં વર-વધુને હળદર લગાવવા પાછળ પણ આ જ મહત્વ છે તેને બાહરી મુશ્કેલીઓથી બચાવી શકાય આરોગ્ય અને સુંદરતાના લાભ પણ તેને મળે. 

ખરેખર હળદરનો સંબંધ બૃહસ્પતિ ગ્રહથી છે.. 

1. પૂજનના સમયે કાંડા અથવા ગરદન પર હળદરનો નાનકડું ચાંદલો લગાવવાથી બૃહસ્પતિ મજબૂત હોય છે અને વાણીમાં મજબૂતી આવે છે. 

2. હળદરનું દાન શુભ માનવામાં આવે છે. તેનાથી ઘણા આરોગ્ય સંબંધિત સમસ્યાઓનો અંત આવે છે. 

3. પૂજા પછી માથા પર હળદરનો ચાંદલો લગાવવાથી દ્વારા લગ્ન કાર્યોમાં સફળતા મળે છે. 

4. ઘરમાં ઘરમાં નકારાત્મક દળો દાખલ નથી હળદર રેખા કરી શકાય છે સીમા દિવાલ.

5. સ્નાનના સમયે જો નહાવાના પાણીમાં ચપટી હળદર નાખીને સ્નાન કરાય તો શારીરિક અને માનસિક શુદ્ધતા આપે છે. કરિયરમાં સફળતા માટે પણ આ પાણી 

ચપટી મૂકવામાં આવે ભૌતિક અને માનસિક શુદ્ધતા છે. પણ કારકિર્દીમાં સફળતા માટે પણ આ પ્રયોગ અચૂક છે. 

6. હળદરની ગાંઠ પર નાડાછડી લપેટીને માથાની પાસે રખાય તો બુરા સપના નહી આવતા. બાહરી હવાથી પણ બચાવ હોય છે.

7. દર ગુરૂવારે શ્રી ગણેશને માત્ર એક ચપટી હળદર ચઢાવાય તો લગ્ન સબંધી અટકળો દૂર હોય છે.  

8. ભગવાન વિષ્ણુ અને લક્ષ્મીના પ્રતિમા પાછળ હળદરની પડીકો છુપાવીને રાખવાથી ખૂબ જલ્દી લગ્નના યોગ બને છે. 

9. હળદરનો ઉપયોગથી જીવનમાં સમૃદ્ધિ આવે છે. તે આત્માની નકારાત્મકત આને દૂર કરે છે. તેથી હવનમાં પણ તેનો પ્રયોગ કરાય છે.  

10. સૂર્યને હળદર મિક્સ કરી જળ અર્પિત કરવાથી ઈચ્છિત વરથી લગ્ન હોય છે. 

11. હળદરની માળાથી કોઈ પણ મંત્ર જપ કરાય તો વિલક્ષણ બુદ્ધિના સ્વામી  હોઈ શકે છે.
