દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં બારેમેઘ ખાંગા થયા, નવસારી શહેર પાણીમાં ગરકાવ

દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં છેલ્લા કેટલાક દિવસથી સતત વરસાદ ખાબકી રહ્યો છે જેને કારણે દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતની તમામ નદીઓમાં પૂરની સ્થિતિ જોવા મળી રહી છે. જેમાં દમણગંગા, કાવેરી, અંબિકા, ઓરંગા, કીમ નદી ગાંડીતૂર બની છે. સુરત, નવસારી, વલસાડ જેવા નીચાણવાળા વિસ્તારોને એલર્ટ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.નવસારીમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદના કારણે કાવેરી, અંબિકા અને પૂર્ણા નદીની જળ સપાટીમાં સતત વધારો થઈ રહ્યો છે.જેના કારણે ચીખલી અને ગણદેવી તાલુકાના નીચાણવાણા ગામોમાંથી લોકોનું સ્થળાંતર કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.

કાવેરી નદી કાંઠેના હરણ ગામમાંથી 70 પરિવારોનું સ્થળાંતર કરાયું છે.તો બીલીમોરા દેસરા વિસ્તારમાંથી 122 લોકોનું સ્થળાંતર કરાયું છે. હાલ NDRFની ટીમ નવસારીના બીલીમોરમાં સ્ટેંડ ટુ રાખવામા આવી છે. સાથે જ ચીખલી અને ગણદેવી તાલુકામાં પણ NDRFની ટીમ તૈનાત કરવામાં આવી છે.આદર્શ ગામ પાસે આવેલ રીવરફ્રંટ પર નદીના પાણી ફરી વળ્યા છે. મંદિર અને આસપાની વસ્તુઓ પણ પાણીમાં ગરકાવ થઈ છે.
બોલાવ ગામના પણ અમુક વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાયા હતા. માંગરોળમાં આવેલ સિયાલક ગામ સંપર્ક વિહોણું બન્યું છે.દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત ભારે વરસાદથી ધમરોળતુ રહ્યું હોય તેમ આજે સવારથી સુરત જીલ્લામાં આભ ફાટયાની હાલત થઈ છે. સુરત જીલ્લાના ઓલપાડમાં છ કલાકમાં 12 ઈંચ વરસાદ ખાબકયો છે તેમાંથી આઠ ઈંચ વરસાદ તો માત્ર બે કલાકમાં જ પડયો હતો જેને પગલે ‘વડોદરાવાળી’ થઈ રહ્યાનું ચિત્ર ઉપસવા લાગ્યુ હતું.

સુરતમાં શાળા-કોલેજો બંધ રાખવાના આદેશો કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. વિમાની સેવા પણ ડાઈવર્ટ કરી દેવામાં આવી છે. સુરત તથા વલસાડ જીલ્લામાં બારે મેઘ ખાંગા થયાનો ઘાટ હતો. સુરતના ઓલપાડમાં સવારે 6થી8માં 3 ઈંચ તથા 8થી10માં 8 ઈંચ વરસાદ ખાબકતા જળબંબાકાર સર્જાયો હતો. નીચાણવાળા ભાગોમાં પુર જેવી હાલત થઈ છે. આ સિવાય ઉમરપાડામાં સવારે 8થી10ના બે કલાકમાં 6 ઈંચ વરસાદ ખાબકયો હતો. સુરત શહેરમાં ચાર કલાકમાં 4 ઈંચ, મહુવામાં તથા માંડવીમાં ચાર કલાકમાં અઢી ઈંચ વરસાદ થયો હતો.

આ પુર્વે આજે સવારે પુરા થયેલા ચોવીસ કલાકમાં સુરત, વલસાડ, ડાંગ તથા નવસારી જેવા જીલ્લાઓ માટે વરસાદમાં ધમરોળાતા રહ્યા હતા. કપરાળામાં 11 તથા માંગરોળમાં 11 ઈંચ પાણી વરસતા વહીવટીતંત્રને એલર્ટ કરાયુ હતું. ગુજરાત ઈમરજન્સી ઓપરેશન સેન્ટરના રીપોર્ટ પ્રમાણે આજે સવારે પુરા થયેલા ચોવીસ કલાક દરમ્યાન રાજયના તમામ 33 જીલ્લાના કુલ 174 તાલુકાઓમાં હળવો ભારે વરસાદ નોંધાયો હતા.. તેમાં સુરત, નવસારી, વલસાડ અને ડાંગ જીલ્લા પાણી-પાણી થયા હતા.

સુરત સહીત સમગ્ર જીલ્લામાં મોડીરાતથી એકધારો ભારે વરસાદ ચાલુ રહ્યો છે. સુરત શહેરમાં સવારે બે કલાકમાં ત્રણ ઈંચ ખાબકતા વરાછા સહીતના વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાયા હતા અને માર્ગો પાણીમાં ગરકાવ થયા હતા. જીલ્લાના માંગરોળમાં 11 ઈંચ પાણીથી જળબંબાકારની હાલત થઈ હતી. ઉમરપાડામાં 4 ઈંચ, ચોર્યાસી, કામરેજમાં 3-3 ઈંચ વરસાદ થયો હતો. વલસાડ જીલ્લાના કપરાળામાં 11 ઈંચ વરસાદ ખાબકયો હતો જેને પગલે નીચાણવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં જળબંબાકારની હાલત સર્જાઈ હતી. વાપીમાં 9 ઈંચ પાણી વરસ્યુ હતું.

પારડીમાં સાત ઈંચ, વલસાડ-ધરમપુરમાં પાંચ-પાંચ ઈંચ, ઉમરગામમાં ચાર ઈંચ વરસાદ પડયો હતો.
ઉમરગામ જીલ્લાના વાંસદામાં 6.50 ઈંચ, ખેરગામમાં પાંચ ઈંચ, જલાલપોર-ચીખલીમાં ચાર-ચાર ઈંચ તથા ગણદેવી-નવસારીમાં 3.50 ઈંચ વરસાદ થયો હતો. તાપી, નર્મદા તથા ભરૂચ જીલ્લામાં એકથી ત્રણ ઈંચ વરસાદ હતો. મધ્ય ગુજરાતમાં અમદાવાદ જીલ્લાના ધંધુકામાં અઢી ઈંચ, ખેડાના માતરમાં 3 ઈંચ, આણંદ-વડોદરા જીલ્લામાં એકથી બે ઈંચ તથા છોટા ઉદેપુરમાં પણ 1થી2 ઈંચ વરસાદ પડયો હતો. આજે સવાર સુધીના વરસાદ સાથે રાજયમાં સીઝનનો કુલ વરસાદ 420.16 મીમી નોંધાયો છે જે સરેરાશ કરતા 51.49 ટકા થવા જાય છે. બે ઈચથી પણ ઓછો વરસાદ થયો હોય તેવા તાલુકાની સંખ્યા માત્ર એક છે જયારે પાંચ ઈંચથી ઓછો વરસાદ હોય તેવા તાલુકા 15 છે.
