ગાંધીનગર: રાજ્યમાં આગામી પાંચ દિવસ તેમજ તેના પછીના સપ્તાહમાં પણ સારો વરસાદ થવાની સંભાવના છે. દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં પડી રહેલા વરસાદના કારણે તાપીમાં દૈનિક ૫૩૫૦૦ ક્યુસેક પાણી તેમજ મધ્યપ્રદેશમાં નર્મદા કેચમેન્ટ વિસ્તારમાં થયેલા વરસાદના પરિણામે નર્મદા ડેમમાં દૈનિક ૯૫૦૦ ક્યુસેક પાણીની આવક થઇ રહી છે. સૌરાષ્ટ્રમાં થઇ રહેલા વરસાદના પરિણામે આ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા કેટલાક ડેમ હાઇ એલર્ટ અને એલર્ટ પર મૂકવામાં આવ્યા છે. છેલ્લા થોડાક દિવસો દરમિયાન પડી રહેલા વરસાદના પરિણામે સમગ્ર રાજ્યમાં ૫૮ લાખ હેક્ટર વિસ્તારમાં વાવેતર થયુ છે, જે એવરેજ વાવેતરના ૬૮ ટકા જેટલું થવા જાય છે. તેમ આજે સ્ટેટ ઇમરજન્સી ઓપરેશન સેન્ટર ગાંધીનગર ખાતે યોજાયેલી વેધર વૉચની બેઠકમાં વિગતો આપતા રાહત નિયામક અને અધિક સચિવ મનોજ કોઠારીએ જણાવ્યું હતું.

મનોજ કોઠારીએ વધુમાં કહ્યું હતું કે, દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતની વરસાદની પેટર્ન મુજબ દર વર્ષની જેમ આ વર્ષે પણ જુલાઇમાં સારો વરસાદ થયો છે. સમગ્ર રાજ્યમાં વધુ વરસાદ વાળા વિસ્તારોમાં એન.ડી.આર.એફ.ની ટીમોની સાથે વહીવટી તંત્રને પણ એલર્ટ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યું છે. હાલમાં રાજ્યમાં વરસાદવાળા વિવિધ વિસ્તારોમાં એન.ડી.આર.એફ.ની કુલ ૧૫ ટીમો તહેનાત કરાઇ છે. જેમાં નવસારી, વલસાડ, ઓલપાડ, ઉપલેટા, રાજકોટ, ગિર સોમનાથ, પાટણ, અરવલ્લી, પાલનપુર, ભૂજ અને દાહોદ ખાતે એક-એક ટીમ તહેનાત કરાઇ છે. જ્યારે વડોદરા ખાતે ત્રણ અને ગાંધીનગર ખાતે એક ટીમ અનામત રાખવામાં આવી છે. બનાસકાંઠાના વાવ અને થરાદ તાલુકાઓમાં થયેલા ભારે વરસાદના કારણે આ વિસ્તારમાં ચાલી રહેલી રાહતની કામગીરી અંગે પણ મનોજ કોઠારીએ વિવિધ વિભાગો સાથે સમીક્ષા કરી હતી.

ભારતીય હવામાન વિભાગના હવામાન શાસ્ત્રી જયંત સરકારે આગામી દિવસોમાં રાજ્યમાં વરસાદની પરિસ્થિતિ અંગે માહિતી આપતાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે પૂર્વ મધ્ય પ્રદેશમાં લૉ પ્રેશર નિર્માણ થવાના કારણે દક્ષિણ ગુજરાતમાં અતિ ભારે વરસાદ તેમજ રાજ્યના વિવિધ ભાગોમાં આગામી પાંચ દિવસ એટલે કે તા. ૪ ઓગસ્ટ સુધીમાં ભારે વરસાદ થશે. આ ઉપરાંત આગામી દિવસોમાં સૌરાષ્ટ્રના દ્વારકા, જામનગર અને કચ્છ વિસ્તારમાં લૉ-પ્રેશર નિર્માણ થવાથી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, કચ્છ અને ઉત્તર ગુજરાતના અમુક ભાગોમાં ભારે વરસાદ થશે.

આ બેઠકમાં સ્ટેટ ઇમરજન્સી ઓપરેશન સેન્ટરના નાયબ કલેકટર તૃપ્તીબેન દેસાઇ, એન.ડી.આર.એફ., પોલીસ, આરોગ્ય, વન, માર્ગ અને મકાન, કૃષિ અને પશુપાલન, મત્સ્ય, ઊર્જા, એસ.ટી.નિગમ, નર્મદા જળસંપત્તિ, પાણી પુરવઠા તેમજ ગુજરાત મેરી ટાઇમ બોર્ડ સહિત વિવિધ વિભાગના અધિકારીઓએ ઉપસ્થિત રહીને રાજ્યમાં વરસાદની પરિસ્થિતિ અંગે સમીક્ષા કરી હતી.
