હિન્દુ ધર્મ - શા માટે અશુભ હોય છે પંચક ? પંચકમાં મૃત્યુ થાય તો શુ કરશો ?

પંચકને જ્યોતિષમાં શુભ નક્ષત્ર નથી માનવામાં આવતુ. તેને અશુભ અને હાનિકારકનો યોગ માનવામાં આવે છે. નક્ષત્રોના મેળથી બનતો વિશેષ યોગ પંચક કહેવામાં આવે છે. જ્યારે ચંદ્રમા, કુંભ અને મીન રાશિ પર રહે છે એ સમયને પંચક કહે છે.

આ જ રીતે ધનિષ્ઠાથી રેવતી સુઇધી જે પાંચ નક્ષત્ર (ઘનિષ્ઠા, પૂર્વ ભાદ્રપદ, ઉત્તર ભાદ્રપદ અને રેવતી) હોય છે ત્યારે પંચક કહેવામાં આવે છે. પ્રાચીન જ્યોતિષમાં સામાન્ય રીતે એવુ માનવામાં આવે છે કે પંચકમાં કેટલાક વિશેષ કાર્ય ન કરવા જોઈએ.
