અજય દેવગન 47 વર્ષના થઈ ગયા છે. 2 એપ્રિલ 1969માં જન્મેલા અજયે બોલીવુડ ની ડ્સ્કી બ્યૂટી કાજોલથી લગ્ન કર્યા હતા. 24 ફેબ્રુઆરી 1999ને બન્ને એ સાત ફેરા લીધા હતા. પણ એમનું મળ્વું સરળ નહી હતું. એક સમય હતું જ્યારે એ બન્ને બીજા કોઈની સાથે રેલિશશિપમાં હતા.

એક ઈંટરવ્યૂહમાં કાજોલએ જણાવ્યા કે અજય સથે પહેલા શાર્ટ આપતા જ એને રિયલાઈજ થઈ ગયું હતું કે આ માણસ એમની જીવનમાં મુખ્ય રોલ ભજવશે. આમતો , એ સમયે કાજોલ અને અજય બન્ને જ કોઈ બીજા સાથે રિલેશશિપમાં હતા. બન્ને મિત્રોની જેમ સાથે સમય વિતાવતા. એ સમય અજય અને કાજોલથી એમના રિલેશનશિપ અને લવ લાઈફને લઈને એડવાઈજ લેતી હતી અને બાબાનીની રીતે અજય એન ટિપ્સ આપતા હતા.

કેવી રીતે નજીક આવ્યા કાજોલ અને અજય

બન્નેની પ્રથમ મુલાકાત હલચલની શૂટિંગ પર થઈ હતી. પહેલા બન્ને મિત્ર બન્યા. પણ અજીબ વાત આ હતી કે પહેલી વરા મળી હતી ત્યારે જોયું કે અજય એક તરફ એકલું બેસી રહેવા પસંદ કતે વધારે વાત નથી કરતા હતા. ત્યારે કાજોલ વિચારતી હતી કે આવું કેવી રીતે થાય કે કોઈ વાત નહી કરે પણ ધીમ્-ધીમે એ કાજોલથી વાત કરવા લાગ્યા અને બન્નેની મિત્રતા થઈ ગઈ. એ પછી બન્ને એક સાથે ઘણી ફિલ્મો જે હિટ રહી એમાં સાથે હતા ઈશ્ક પ્યાર તો હોના હી થા રાજૂ ચાચા અને યૂ મી અને હમ સમય સાથે અજય અને કાજોલના પ્રેમ આગળ વધ્યા અને અંતે 1999માં બન્ને એ લગ્ન કરી લીધા. અજય અને કાજોલની લગ્ન પરંપરાગત મહારાસઃટીયન રીતિથી થઈ.
