અજય દેવગનને લાંબા ઈંટરવ્યૂહ આપવું પસંદ નથી. ફિલ્મમાં જો અજયને જ્યારે નાચવા- ગીત માટે કહેવાય છે તો તેન પરસેવું આવી જાય છે. અજયને ફિલ્મી પાર્ટી પસંદ નથી અને એ બૉલીવુડની કોઈ પણ પાર્ટીમાં બહુ ઓછા નજર આવે છે.કામ પૂરૂ થતા જ એ ઘરે જઈને બાળકો સાથે રમવું પસંદ કરે છે. કૉલેજમાં અજય હમેશા તેમના મિત્રો સાથે બે મોટર સાઈકિલ પર એક સાથે સવારી કરતા હતા. તેનો આ રિયલ લાઈફનો સીન ફિલ્મ "ફૂલ ઔર કાંટે" માં ફિલ્માવ્યું . પછી એ બે કાર અને બે ઘોદા પર પણ એક સાથે સવારી કરતા નજર આવ્યા.

અજય દેવગનએ બાળ કળાકારના રૂપમાં "પ્યારી બહના (1985)" માં રોલ કર્યું. આ ફિલ્મમાં જયએ મિથુન ચક્ર્વતીના બાળપણની ભૂમિકા ભજવી હતી. અજય પ્રકાશ ઝા, રાજકુમાર સંતોષી અને રોહિત શેટ્ટીના પ્રિય કલાકાર છે અને તેની સાથે તેણે ઘણી ફિલ્મો કરી છે. ફિલ્મ ઈંડ્સ્ટ્રીમાં સંજય દત્ત અને સલમાન ખાનને અજય દેવગન આપણો સૌથી સારો મિત્ર માને છે.
