વડોદરામાં દેશની પ્રથમ રેલ્વે યુનિવર્સિટી માટે રાજ્ય સરકાર પ૦ ટકા રાહત ભાવે જમીન ફાળવશે

પ્રથમ તબક્કો માર્ચ-ર૦ર૦માં કાર્યરત થશે અમદાવાદ: મુખ્યમંત્રી વિજય રૂપાણીએ રાજ્યમાં ચાલી રહેલા મહત્વપૂર્ણ રેલ્વે પ્રોજેકટસની સર્વગ્રાહી કામગીરી સમીક્ષા ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય બેઠક યોજીને કરી હતી. આ સંદર્ભમાં બેઠકમાં જણાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું કે, ડેડીકેટેડ ફ્રેઇટ કોરીડોરની સંપૂર્ણ કામગીરી આગામી ર૦ર૧ ડિસેમ્બર પહેલાં પૂર્ણ કરી દેવાશે. રાજ્ય સરકારે આ પ્રોજેકટ હેતુસર જમીન સંપાદન સહિતની બાબતોમાં સહયોગ કર્યો છે અને હવે આ પ્રોજેકટ ઝડપથી પૂર્ણતા તરફ આગળ ધપી રહ્યો છે. આ પ્રોજેકટનો પ્રથમ તબક્કો માર્ચ-ર૦ર૦માં કાર્યરત થઇ જશે. 

નાયબ મુખ્યમંત્રી નીતિન પટેલ ઉપરાંત મુખ્ય સચિવ ડૉ. જે. એન. સિંહ, નાણાંના અધિક મુખ્ય સચિવ અરવિંદ અગ્રવાલ, મહેસૂલ અધિક મુખ્ય સચિવ પંકજકુમાર, મુખ્યમંત્રીના અગ્ર સચિવ એમ. કે. દાસ સહિત રાજ્ય સરકારના વરિષ્ઠ સચિવો અને રેલ્વે બોર્ડના અધ્યક્ષ, મેમ્બર ટેકનીકલ અને ફાયનાન્સ વગેરે અધિકારીઓ આ ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય બેઠકમાં જોડાયા હતા. મુખ્યમંત્રીએ રાજ્યના મહત્વપૂર્ણ પ્રોજેકટસ અંગે કેન્દ્રના સંબંધિત અધિકારીઓ સાથે ચર્ચા-બેઠક યોજીને પ્રોજેકટમાં ગતિ લાવવાના નવતર અભિગમ રૂપે ગાંધીનગરમાં આ બેઠકનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

મુખ્યમંત્રીએ સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટીનો વિશ્વ પ્રવાસન ધામ તરીકે વિકાસ થઇ રહ્યો છે ત્યારે વડોદરાથી કેવડીયાની રેલ્વે કનેકટીવીટી માટે રાજ્ય સરકારે જમીન સંપાદન અંગે તેમજ અન્ય સહયોગ આપ્યો છે તે અંગેની વિગતો બેઠકમાં મેળવી હતી. તેમણે આ મહત્વાકાંક્ષી રેલ્વે લાઇન પ્રોજેકટ ત્વરાએ પૂર્ણ થાય તે માટે રેલ્વે તંત્રના અધિકારીઓને સૂચન પણ કર્યુ હતું. વડોદરા ખાતે નિર્માણાધિન દેશની પ્રથમ રેલ્વે યુનિવર્સિટી માટે ગુજરાત સરકાર પ૦ ટકા રાહત ભાવે જમીન ફાળવશે તેવો નિર્ણય મુખ્યમંત્રીએ આ બેઠકમાં કર્યો હતો.

મુખ્યમંત્રીએ તાજેતરમાં જ ગાંધીનગર રેલ્વે સ્ટેશનની મૂલાકાત લઇ રીડેવલપમેન્ટ પ્રોજેકટનું જાતનિરીક્ષણ કર્યુ હતું. આ સંદર્ભમાં પણ વિજય રૂપાણીએ રેલ્વે તંત્રવાહકો સાથે કામગીરી સમીક્ષા કરી આગામી ર૦ર૦ના મધ્ય સુધીમાં પ્રોજેકટ પૂર્ણ કરવા તાકીદ કરી હતી. રેલ્વે તંત્રના વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓએ પણ આ કામગીરીમાં વેગ લાવીને નિર્ધારીત સમયમાં પૂર્ણ કરી દેવાની ખાતરી મુખ્યમંત્રીને આપી હતી.

સુરત રેલ્વે સ્ટેશનના રીડેવલપમેન્ટ અંગેના વિવિધ પાસાંઓની વિશદ ચર્ચા-વિચારણા પણ આ ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય બેઠકમાં હાથ ધરવામાં આવી હતી. આ કામગીરી પણ ફાસ્ટ ટ્રેક પ્રોજેકટ તરીકે ઉપાડી લેવા બેઠકમાં મુખ્યમંત્રીએ સૂચવ્યું હતું. આ બેઠકમાં રાજ્ય સરકાર અને રેલ્વે બોર્ડના વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓએ પરસ્પર સંકલનથી કામગીરીમાં વેગ લાવવા કરેલા નિર્ણયોને પગલે ગુજરાતને દેશના વિકાસનું રોલ મોડેલ પ્રસ્થાપિત કરવાની દિશામાં વધુ ગતિ આવશે.
