ઉકાઈ ડેમની સપાટી એલર્ટ લેવલ નજીક, નર્મદા ડેમની સપાટી 135.62 મીટરે પહોંચી

ઉકાઇ ડેમની સપાટી રૂલ લેવલ 340 ફૂટની નજીક હોવાથી ડેમમાંથી પાણીની આવક કરતા જાવકમાં વધારો કરાયો છે. એમ.પી-મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં હવામાન વિભાગે ઓરેન્જ એલર્ટ જાહેર કરી ભારે વરસાદની આગાહી કરતાં મોડીરાતથી ઉકાઇ ડેમમાંથી ડિસ્ચાર્જ વધારી 1.08 લાખ ક્યુસેક કરાયું છે.
ઉકાઈ ડેમની સપાટી 340 ફુટના એલર્ટ લેવલ નજીક પહોંચી ગઈ છે. હાલ ઉકાઈ ડેમની સપાટી 339.30 ફુટ છે. જ્યારે ઈનફ્લો 76391 ક્યુસેક પાણી છે. અને આઉટફ્લો 108076 ક્યુસેક પાણી છે. ઉકાઈ ડેમની સપાટી રૂલ લેવલ 340 ફુટ નજીક હોવાથી ઈનફ્લો કરતા આઉટફ્લો વધારી તાપી નદીમાં પાણી છોડવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે.
ઉકાઇ ડેમની સપાટી 339.30 ફુટ જ્યારે હથનુર ડેમની સપાટી 211 મીટરે પહોંચી છે. હથનુરમાંથી 78,000 ક્યુસેક પાણી છોડાઈ રહ્યું છે. આગામી બે દિવસ સુધી ઉકાઇના કેચમેન્ટ સાથે મહારાષ્ટ્ર-એમપીમાં ભારે વરસાદ થવાની સંભાવના છે.જેથી પાણીની આવકમાં નોંધપાત્ર વધારો થવાની શક્યતાથી તંત્ર તકેદારીના ભાગરૂપે રાતે 9 વાગેથી ઉકાઇ ડેમના 9 દરવાજા 4.6 ફૂટ અને 1 ગેટ 5 ફૂટ ખોલીને 1.08 લાખ ક્યુસેક પાણી છોડવાનું શરૂ કરાયું છે.

સરદાર સરોવર નર્મદા ડેમની સપાટી ડેમમાંથી હાલ 5,34,271 ક્યૂસેક પાણીની આવક થઇ રહી છે, જેને પગલે ડેમના 21 દરવાજા ખોલીને 4,47,400 ક્યૂસેક પાણી નર્મદા નદીમાં છોડવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે. હાલ ડેમની સપાટ 135.62 મીટર ઉપર પહોંચી છે. નર્મદા ડેમમાંથી મોટી માત્રામાં પાણી છોડવામાં આવતા કેવડિયાનો ગોરા બ્રિજ ફરી પાણીમાં ગરકાવ થઇ ગયો છે, જેથી બ્રિજને પરનો વાહન વ્યવહાર બંધ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. 
ડેમમાં હાલ 4803.20 mcm લાઈવ સ્ટોરેજ પાણીનો જથ્થો ઉપલબ્ધ છે. છેલ્લા 27 દિવસથી સરદાર સરોવર નર્મદા ડેમની સપાટીમાં સતત વધારો થઇ રહ્યો છે. જેને પગલે ડેમમાંથી સતત ઓવરફ્લો થઇ રહ્યો છે. અને તમામ પાવરહાઉસ પણ ધમધમી રહ્યા છે.
