અમદાવાદમાં સાબરમતિ રિવરફ્રન્ટ ખાતે નવા વર્ષની શરૂઆતમાં અમદાવાદની જાહેર જનતા માટે બોટિંગ તેમજ વોટર સ્પોર્ટ્સની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી છે.પરંતુ હવે રિવરફ્રન્ટ પર સહેલાણીઓ રિવર ક્રૂઝની મજા માણી શકશે. જેમાં સહેલાણીઓ 20 જાન્યુઆરીથી બેસી શકશે.

કોરોના વાયરસના કારણે તેને સેનિટાઈઝ કરાયા બાદ જ બીજીવાર ઉપયોગમાં લેવામાં આવશે. આ ફૂલ AC ક્રૂઝમાં એક સાથે 60 લોકો બેસી શકે તેવી વ્યવસ્થા છે. હાલ રિવરફ્રન્ટ ખાતે બે પોઇન્ટ પર બોટિંગ ચાલુ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.

જેમાં એક પોઇન્ટ વલ્લભ સદન અને બીજો પોઇન્ટ ઉસ્માનપુરા નજીક શરુ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. બોટિંગ સેવાને લોકોનો ખૂબ સારો પ્રતિસાદ મળ્યો છે. વલ્લભ સદન નજીક આવેલા બોટિંગ સ્ટેશન પર ECHT એજન્સી દ્વારા બોટિંગની એક્ટિવિટી કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.

જ્યારે ઉસ્માનપુરા નજીક આવેલા સ્ટેશન માટે ખોડલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા બોટિંગની એક્ટિવિટી કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.હાલના તબક્કામાં ECHT એજન્સી દ્વારા જેટસ્કી, કિડ્સ પેડલ બોટ, હાય સ્પીડ બોટ તથા એક્વા સાઇકલની પ્રવૃત્તિ શરુ કરવામાં આવી છે. જેની ટિકિટ બોટિંગ સ્ટેશનના ટિકિટ કાઉન્ટર પરથી સરળતાથી મળી રહેશે. ગયા વર્ષે કોરોના કાળ પહેલા આશરે 400 જેટલા લોકોએ બોટિંગનો આનંદ માણ્યો હતો. જે બાદ આ વર્ષે ECHT દ્વારા બમ્પર બોટ, સાબરમતી રિવર ક્રૂઝ જેવી ઘણી બધી વૉટર બેઝ્ડ એક્ટિવિટી શરૂ કરવામાં આવી છે. બમ્પર બોટ પણ આવનાર સમયમાં લોકો માટે શુરૂ થવાની છે. અમદાવાદના રિવરફ્રન્ટ પર 20 જાન્યુઆરીથી રિવરક્રૂઝની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવશે. આ ક્રૂઝ ખાસ કરીને નોર્વે અને ડેન્માર્કથી મંગાવવામાં આવ્યાં છે. જે 60 સીટર AC ક્રૂઝ છે. સહેલાણીઓ આ ક્રૂઝમાં બેસીને સાબરમતિ નદીમાં 20 મિનિટનો આહ્લાદક નજારો માણી શકશે. ક્રૂઝમાં સહેલાણીઓને અમદાવાદ હેરિટેજ સિટીના વીડિયો દેખાડવામાં આવશે. તે ઉપરાંત ક્રૂઝમાં હાઈ ક્વોલિટી સાઉન્ડ સિસ્ટમ પણ ઈન્સ્ટોલ કરવામાં આવી છે. સહેલાણીઓ સહેલાઈથી બોટિંગ માટે બુકિંગ કરી શકે તે માટે 15 જેટલા ઓનલાઇન માધ્યમ પરથી પણ બુકિંગની સુવિધા શરૂ કરવામાં આવશે. આ ઉપરાંત સાબરમતી રિવરફ્રન્ટની વેબસાઈટ પરથી પણ લોકો બુકિંગ કરી શકશે. ECHT એજન્સી દ્વારા બોટિંગના ભાવ નીચે પ્રમાણે રાખવામાં આવ્યા છે. (1) કિડ્સ બોટ- રૂ. 100 (2) જેટસ્કી- રૂ.350 (2) સાબરમતી રિવર ક્રૂઝ- રૂ. 250 (4) બેય લાઈનર- રૂ. 250 (5) હાઈ સ્પીડ બોટ- રૂ. 250 (6) એક્વા સાઇકલ- રૂ. 100. ઉસ્માનપુરા નજીક આવેલ બોટિંગ સ્ટેશન પર ખોડલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા સ્પીડ બોટ અને પૅન્ટોન બોટ લોકો માટે શરુ કરવામાં આવી હતી. જેને પણ લોકોનો ખૂબ સારો પ્રતિસાદ સાંપડ્યો હતો. આશરે 50 જેટલા લોકોએ બોટિંગનો આંનદ માણ્યો હતો. જેની ટિકિટ લોકોને સરળતાથી બોટિંગ સ્ટેશન પર આવેલા ટિકિટ કાઉન્ટર પરથી મળી રહશે. ટૂંક સમયમાં તેઓ પેડલ બોટ અને ઝોરબિંગ બોલ પણ ઉમેરશે જેથી લોકોને સાબરમતી નદી પર વૉટર બેઝ્ડ એક્ટિવિટીનો લાભ મળી શકે.
