મુખ્યમંત્રી રૂપાણીએ આ મુલાકાત દરમ્યાન સાયન્સ સિટી ખાતે પ્રગતિમાં રહેલા કાર્યોની સર્વગ્રાહી જાણકારી મેળવી હતી.
મુખ્યમંત્રી એ આ ઉપરાંત સાયન્સ સીટી માં તૈયાર થઈ રહેલ નેચરપાર્કની પણ મુલાકાત લીધી હતી.
સાયન્સ એન્ડ ટેકનોલોજી ડિપાર્ટમેન્ટના સચિવ હરિત શુક્લાએ સાયન્સ સિટીમાં તૈયાર થઇ રહેલ અને પ્રગતિમાં રહેલ મ્યુઝિકલ ફાઉન્ટેન, નવા થિયેટર, પ્લેનેટ અર્થ વિભાગ, એનર્જી પાર્ક, લાઈફ સાયન્સ વિભાગ અંગેની જાણકારી મુખ્યમંત્રીને આપી હતી.
મુખ્યમંત્રીની આ મુલાકાત વેળાએ મુખ્યમંત્રીના અગ્ર મુખ્ય સચિવ કે. કૈલાસનાથન,અમદાવાદ જિલ્લા કલેકટર સંદીપ સાગલે, સાયન્સ સિટીના ડાયરેક્ટર એસ.ડી.વોરા અને સાયન્સ સિટીના અઘિકારીગણ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા.
