બાઈક સવારોએ તેમના પ્રવાસના છેલ્લા તબક્કામાં આણંદ જતાં પહેલાં માર્ગમાં સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટીની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી. સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટીએ ભારતના રાજપુરૂષ અને ભારતના પ્રથમ નાયબ વડાપ્રધાન અને ગૃહ પ્રધાન શ્રી સરદાર વલ્લ્ભભાઈ પટેલની વિશાળ પ્રતિમા છે. ત્રિભુવન દાસ પટેલની આગેવાની હેઠળ ખેડૂતોના સમુદાયને સહકારી ચળવળ માટે અને પોલસન ડેરીની ઈજારાશાહી તોડવા માટે પ્રેરણા આપવામાં તેમણે મહત્વની ભૂમિકા નિભાવી હતી. આ રીતે સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટીની મુલાકાત લઈને બાઈક ચાલકોએ તા.26 નવેમ્બરના રોજ ડો. કુરીયનના 98માં જન્મદિવસે તેમણે શ્રધ્ધાંજલી આપી હતી.
12 દિવસની આ મોટરસાયકલ રેલીમાં 6 મહિલાઓ સહિત પ્રોફેશનલ ચાલકોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો અને તેમણે 2500 કી.મી.નુ અંતર કાપ્યું હતું. આ લોકો નેશનલ મિલ્ક ડે રેલીના 1.0 અને 2.0માં અગાઉની એડીશનમાં પણ ભાગ લઈ ચૂક્યા છે. તેમને આ વર્ષે રેલીમાં સામેલ થયેલા નવા બાઈકચાલકોને પ્રેરણા આપવાની કામગીરી બજાવી હતી. અમારા 50 બાઈક ચાલકો ભારતનાં 28 રાજ્યોમાંથી 20નુ પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરે છે. અને તે ડેરી ઉદ્યોગમાં કામ કરે છે અને સ્વેચ્છાએ આ રેલીમાં જોડાયા છે. સમગ્ર પ્રવાસ દરમ્યાન બાઈક ચાલકો ડો. વર્ગીસ કુરિયને સ્થાપેલાં અને તેમની પ્રેરણાને કારણે સ્થપાયેલી સંસ્થાઓની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી અને ભારતીય યુવાનોને આકર્ષે તેની શૈલીમાં લોકોને મળ્યા હતા. ‘#CelebratingDrKurien’ ના માધ્યમથી આપણે ભારતને દૂધની અછત ધરાવતા રાજ્યમાંથી દુનિયામાં સૌથી વધુ દૂધનું ઉત્પાદન કરનાર દેશ બનાવનાર ના જીવન અને કામગીરીને બિરદાવવામાં આવ્યાં છે.
12 દિવસના આ રૂટમાં 2500 કી.મી.નું અંતર કપાયું છે અને આ રેલી પવિત્ર શહેર વારાણસીથી ભારતના મિલ્ક કેપિટલ આણંદ પહોંચશે. તેમના સમગ્ર પ્રવાસ દરમ્યાન બાઈકચાલકો લોકોને મળ્યા હતા અને ડો. કુરિયનની પ્રેરણાથી સ્થપાયેલી સંસ્થાઓની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી. ભારતના યુવાનોને આકર્ષે તેવી શૈલીમાં ‘#CelebratingDrKurien’ યાત્રામાં બાઈક ચાલકોએ ભારતને દૂધની અછત ધરાવતા દેશમાંથી દુનિયાનું સૌથી વધુ દૂધ ઉત્પાદન કરનાર દેશ બનાવનાર મહાનુભવ ડો. કુરિયનના જીવન અને કામગીરી અંગે માહિતી મેળવી હતી.
‘સેલિબ્રેટીંગ ડો. કુરિયન’નો ઉદ્દેશ ‘#CelebratingDrKurien’ નામનો આ પ્રવાસ રસપ્રદ યાત્રા બની રહ્યો છે અને લોકોના દિમાગમાં અને ખાસ કરીને યુવાનોમાં ડો. કુરિયનના મૂલ્યવાન યોગદાનને તાજુ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ આયોજનનો વિચાર ડો. કુરિયનની કથા જે લોકોને સ્પર્શી ગઈ છે તેમના મુખેથી તેમની વાત સાંભળવાનો છે અને સહકારની ભાવનાની કદર કરી રોજે રોજ થતા દૂધના એકત્રીકરણની પ્રવૃત્તિ અંગે માહિતી મેળવવાનો છે.
જીવનભરનો પ્રવાસ
50 બાઈક સવારોની યાત્રા વારાણસીથી શરૂ કરીને અલ્હાબાદ, લખનૌ, કાનપુર, આગ્રા, ગ્વાલિયર, ભોપાલ, ઉજૈન, ગોધરા થઈ સ્ટેચ્યુ ઓફ યુનિટી થઈને ડો. કુરિયને જ્યાં તેમના જીવનનો મોટા ભાગનો હિસ્સો ગાળ્યો છે તે મિલ્ક સીટી આણંદ ખાતે સમાપ્ત થશે.
આણંદ ખાતે ભવ્ય ફાઇનલ
તા.26 નવેમ્બર, 2019ના રોજ ડો. કુરિયન રેલીનું તેમની કર્મભૂમિ આણંદ ખાતે સમાપન થશે. ડો. કુરિયનના આ સંદેશાવાહકો તેમની યાત્રાના અંતિમ ભાગમાં લોકપ્રિય બ્રાન્ડ અમૂલના માર્કેટીંગ હાઉસ ગુજરાત કો-ઓપરેટિવ મિલ્ક માર્કેટીંગ ફેડરેશનની મુલાકાત લેશે અને યાત્રાનો આખરી સમારંભ નેશનલ ડેરી ડેવલપમેન્ટ બોર્ડ (એનડીડીબી) આણંદ ખાતે યોજાશે.
રાજ્યના મિલ્ક ફેડરેશનો હાથ મિલાવશે
વિવિધ રાજ્યના વિવિધ મિલ્ક માર્કેટીંગ ફેડરેશનો કે જે પરાગ અને સાંચી જેવી બ્રાન્ડ પણ જીસીએમએમએફ દ્વારા માર્કેટીંગ કરાતી બ્રાન્ડ અમૂલ સાથે ભારતના મિલ્ક મેન અને ડેરી ઉદ્યોગ સાથે આ ઉજવણીમાં સામેલ થઈ છે.
વર્ષ 2017માં અમૂલે સૌ પ્રથમ વખત નેશનલ મિલ્ક ડે ની ઉજવણી કરી હતી અને એ પ્રસંગે ડો. કુરિયનની જન્મભૂમિ કોઝીકોડ-કેરાલાથી ગુજરાતમાં આણંદ સુધીનો 1800 કી.મી.નો વિસ્તાર આવરી લીધો હતો. જે મિલ્ક ફેડરેશનો આ ઉજવણીમાં સામેલ થયા હતા, તેમાં મિલમા, નંદિની, ગોવા ડેરી, ગોકુલ ડેરી, ખાત્રજ ડેરી વગેરેનો સમાવેશ થતો હતો.
બીજી એડિશનની ઉજવણી બે બાઈક રેલી યોજીને કરવામાં આવી હતી અને તે ઉજવણીમાં સમાંતરપણે અલગ અલગ સ્થળેથી 3000 કી.મી.ની રેલી કાઢીને આણંદ પહોંચી હતી. આ રેલીના પ્રથમ રૂટમાં જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરથી આણંદ અને બીજા રૂટમાં ગુજરાતમાં કચ્છથી આણંદનો સમાવેશ થતો હતો. બીજી એડિશન વખતે ઉજવણીમાં જે મિલ્ક માર્કેટીંગ ફેડરેશનો જોડાયા હતા તેમાં અમૂલના નામે વિવિધ બ્રાન્ડનું વેચાણ કરતાં જીસીએમએમએફ ઉપરાંત સ્નોકેપ, વેરકા, વીટા, મધર ડેરી અને સારસનો સમાવેશ થતો હતો.
ડો. કુરિયનનું જન્મ શતાબ્દિ વર્ષ 2021માં આવી રહ્યું છે. બ્રાન્ડ અમૂલ આ ઉજવણી દર વર્ષ કરે છે અને વિવિધ લોકો અને સંસ્થાઓનો સ્વૈચ્છિક સહયોગ મેળવે છે. જે મહાનુભવે આપણને સહકારનું મૂલ્ય સમજાવ્યુ તેમને આ પ્રસંગે શ્રધ્ધાંજલિ આપવામાં આવે છે.
