દેશભરમાં ચોમાસુ વિધિવત શરૂ થઇ ગયું છે. ત્યારે ગઇકાલથી લઇને આજે બપોર 12 વાગ્યા સુધીમાં રાજ્યના 102 તાલુકામાં વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો. ગઈકાલે અમરેલી અને ભાવનગર પંથકમાં મેઘાની મહેર જોવા મળી હતી. ત્યારે આજ રોજ ગોંડલ પંથકમાં મેઘરાજાનું આગમન થયું હતું. અસહ્ય ગરમી બાદ ગોંડલ પંથકમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ શરૂ થયો હતો. વીજળીના કડાકા સાથે ધોધમાર વરસાદ પડતા રસ્તા પર પાણી ભરાય ગયા હતા અને લોકોને અસહ્ય ગરમીમાંથી રાહત મળી હતી. ચાર ઇંચ જેટલો વરસાદ ખાબકતા માર્કેટ યાર્ડમાં પાણી ભરાયા હતા. વેપારીઓની દુકાનોમાં વરસાદી પાણી ભરાતા માલ સામાનને નુકસાન થયું છે. ધોધમાર વરસાદથી ગોંડલનો ઉમવાળા બ્રિજ પાણીમાં ગરકાવ થયો હતો. અહીં સાંજે ચારથી છ કલાક વચ્ચે ચાર ઇંચ વરસાદ પડ્યો છે.

જસદણના સાણથલીમાં વીજળીના કડાકા ભડાકા સાથે ધોધમા વરસાદ વરસ્યો હતો. બે કલાકમાં બે ઇંચ વરસાદ વરસતા ઠેર-ઠેર પાણી ભરાઇ ગયા હતા. તો આ તરફ ગોંડલ પંથકમાં પણ ધોધમાર વરસાદ વરસ્યો છે. ગોંડલના દેરડી વાસાવડ સહિતના ગામડાઓમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ વરસતા રસ્તાઓ પર પાણી ભરાયા છે. ગાજવીજ અને ભારે પવન સાથે વરસાદ વરસતા વાતાવરણમાં ઠંડક પ્રસરી ગઇ છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્રના રાજકોટના શાપર-વેરાવળ, ભરૂડી, રિબડા, બિલિયાળા, ભુણાવા સહિતના ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ વરસ્યો હતો. ડોડીયાળા ગામે ખેતર માં વીજળી પડી હતી વીજળી પડતા ખેતર માં ખેતી કામ કરતા એક વ્યક્તિ ને ઇજા થતાં ગોંડલ ની ખાનગી હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડવામાં આવ્યો હતો.

જ્યારે ભુણાવા,પાંચીયાવદરમાં અમી છાંટણા થયા હતા. ગોંડલ અને આસપાસના તમામ ગામડાઓમાં વાદળો છવાઈ જતા ગરમીમાં આંશિક ઘટાડો થયો હતો. વરસાદને પગલે ખેડૂતોમાં પણ આનંદની લાગણી જોવા મળી હતી.

આ ઉપરાંત રાજકોટ શહેરમાં એક કલાકમાં એક ઇંચ વરસાદ નોંધાયો છે. સવારના 11વાગ્યાથી 12.30 વાગ્યા સુધી અવિરત વરસાદ ચાલુ રહ્યો હતો. બાબરા પંથકમાં પણ પવન અને વીજળીના ચમકારા સાથે વરસાદ શરૂ થયો હતો. દરેડ, ખાખરીયા, જામબરવાળા, ચરખા, આબલિધાર, ઘુઘરાળા, મિયાખીજડીયા, કર્ણુકી સહિતના ગામોમાં વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો. લાઠી પંથકમાં પણ ઘનઘોર વાદળો વચ્ચે વરસાદનું આગમન થયું હતું.

જૂનાગઢ જિલ્લાના માણાવદરમાં પણ એક ઇંચ વરસાદ પડ્યો છે. તો કેશોદમાં 19મીમી વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો. ડાંગના આહવામાં એક ઇંચથી વધુ વરસાદ પડ્યો છે. તો તાપીના સોનગઢમાં પણ એક ઇંચ વરસાજ થયો છે. આ ઉપરાંત ગડુ અને આસપાસના વિસ્તારમાં આજે સવારે 2 ઈંચ સુધીનો વરસાદ વરસ્યો હતો. ગડુ અને આસપાસના વિસ્તારના ગામડાઓમાં દોઢથી બે ઇંચ વરસાદ નોધાયો છે. તો રાજ્યના અન્ય તાલુકામાં નોંધપાત્રા વરસાદ થયો છે.
