૪૦૦૦ હજાર જેટલા કારીગરો માટે ફિશીંગ જાળ રોજગારીનું માધ્યમ

ગીર-સોમનાથ, ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં મત્સ્યોદ્યોગ ક્ષેત્રે ગીર-સોમનાથ જિલ્લાનું મોટું પ્રદાન છે. મત્સ્ય નિકાસમાં વેરાવળનો મોટો ફાળો છે. રોજગારી સાથે આર્થિક ઉપાર્જનમાં ગીર-સોમનાથ જિલ્લાના લોકો માટે મહત્વનો આધારસ્તંભ મત્સ્યોદ્યોગ છે. વેરાવળ બંદરમાં મત્સ્યોદ્યોગની સાથે ફિશીંગ જાળ ગુથવાનો વ્યવસાય નો પણ સારો વિકાસ થયો છે. મત્સ્યોદ્યોગનું જેટલું મહત્વ છે તેટલું જ જાળ ગુથવાનાં વ્યવસાયનું પણ મહત્વ છે. ફિશીંગ જાળ ગુથવાનાં વ્યવસાય વગરનાં મત્સ્યોદ્યોગ એક હાથે તાળી નહીં વાગવા સમાન છે. વેરાવળ બંદરમાં સાગરપુત્રો કારીગરો જાળ ગુંથવામાં માહિર છે. જાળ ગુંથણીની કામગીરી ૪૦૦૦ જેટલા કારીગરો માટે રોજગારીનું માધ્યમ બની છે.
વેરાવળ-ભિડીયામાં ફિશીંગજાળ ગુથવાનો વ્યવસાય સતત બારેમાસ ચાલુ હોય છે. સિઝન દરમ્યાન આ જાળ ગુથવાની કામગરી સતત ધમધમતો રહે છે. બાદમાં માચ્છીમારીની સિઝનમાં અંતમાં અને ચોમાસાની સિઝનમાં આ વ્યવસાય ધીમીગતિએ કાર્યરત હોવાની સાથે જાળ ગુંથવામાં આવે છે.તેમ આ કામગીરી સાથે કારીગરોને રોજગારી આપતાશ્રી લાલાભાઇ ગોહેલે જણાવ્યુ હતુ.
તા. ૧૫મી ઓગષ્ટ નાં રોજ માચ્છીમારી સિઝન શરૂ થતી હોય ત્યારે પહેલા જાળ ગુથતા કારીગરો તેમનાં વ્યવસાયમાં અતિ વ્યસ્ત હોય છે. કારીગરો દ્વારા બે પ્રકારનાં જાળ વધુ પ્રમાણમાં ગુથવામાં આવે છે. જેમાં એક મોટી કણનાં જાળ જેની લંબાઇ મોટી હોય છે. આ જાળ ગુંથવા માટે વેપારીઓ પાસેથી જુદા-જુદા પ્રકારનાં જાળના પીસ(ટુંકડા) લઇ તેને સજાવવામાં આવે છે. પાંચેક કારીગરોની મદદથી છ થી સાત કલાકમાં તનતોડ મહેનત કરી આ મોટા કણની જાળ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવે છે. જેમાં દોરડું અને સુતરનો ઉપયોગ વધુ પ્રમાણમાં થાય છે. આ મોટાકણની જાળ ૨૦ થી ૨૨ દિવસની લોંગ ટ્રોલીંગ ફિશીંગ બોટમાં વધુ પ્રમાણમાં ઉપયોગમાં લેવામાં આવે છે. આ જાળમાં નાના માછલાનો બચાવ થવાની સાથે મોટી માછલીઓ જ જાળમાં આવે છે.
નાનાકણની જાળ ગુંથવામાં પણ કારીગરોની માસ્ટરી હોય છે. આ પ્રકારનાં જાળ ગુંથવામાં થોડો વધુ સમય લાગે છે. આ જાળ નાની હોવાની સાથે નાની ટ્રોલીંગ ફિશીંગ બોટ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવતી એક દિવસની લોકલ ફિશીંગમાં તેનો વધુ ઉપયોગ થાય છે. જેમાં નાની માછલીનો પણ શિકાર થઇ જાય છે. વેરાવળમાં ફીશીંગ જાળનું મટીરીયલ્સનું મોટા પ્રમાણમાં વેચાણ થાય છે. ૧૭ જેટલા મોટા વેપારીઓ આ મટીરીયલ્સનું વેચાણ કરે છે તેમ અરવીંદભાઇ ડાલકીએ જણાવ્યુ હતુ.
નાની હોડીઓ અને ફાયબરની જાળનાં વ્યવસાયની ફિશીંગ બોટ માટે પણ અલગથી જાળ ગુથવામાં આવે છે. આ જાળનો ફિશીંગ વ્યવસાય ટ્રોલીંગ ફિશીંગ વ્યવસાયથી તદ્દન વિપરીત છે. જાળનો વ્યવસાય સાથે સંકળાયેલા હોડી અને ફાયબરની બોટ દ્વારા દરિયામાં સાંજના સમયે જાળ નાખવામાં આવે છે. અંતે છ થી સાત કલાક બાદ પરત ઉઠાવી લેવામાં આવે છે. આ વ્યવસાય માટે પણ જાળ તૈયાર મળી રહે છે. જેને કારીગરો દ્વારા સાંઢા મારી તૈયાર કરે છે. જેમાં સુતરનાં જાળ, રેશમનાં જાળ અને પ્લાસ્ટીકની મજબુત આછી તંગીનાં જાળનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
વેરાવળ બંદરમાં જાળ ગુથવાનાં વ્યવસાય સાથે ૪૦૦૦ જેટલા કારીગરો સંકળાયેલા હોવાની સાથે તેમને રૂા. ૭ થી ૧૫ હજાર સુધીનું માસીક મહેનતાણું મળી રહે છે. સારા કારીગરોને રૂા. ૧૨ થી ૧૮ હજાર દર મહિને સરળતાથી કમાય શકે છે. આ વ્યવસાયમાં અનેક અભણ લોકોને સરળતાથી કામ મળવાની સાથે રોજગારી મળી રહે છે.

ગીર-સોમનાથ, ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં મત્સ્યોદ્યોગ ક્ષેત્રે ગીર-સોમનાથ જિલ્લાનું મોટું પ્રદાન છે. મત્સ્ય નિકાસમાં વેરાવળનો મોટો ફાળો છે. રોજગારી સાથે આર્થિક ઉપાર્જનમાં ગીર-સોમનાથ જિલ્લાના લોકો માટે મહત્વનો આધારસ્તંભ મત્સ્યોદ્યોગ છે. વેરાવળ બંદરમાં મત્સ્યોદ્યોગની સાથે ફિશીંગ જાળ ગુથવાનો વ્યવસાય નો પણ સારો વિકાસ થયો છે. મત્સ્યોદ્યોગનું જેટલું મહત્વ છે તેટલું જ જાળ ગુથવાનાં વ્યવસાયનું પણ મહત્વ છે. ફિશીંગ જાળ ગુથવાનાં વ્યવસાય વગરનાં મત્સ્યોદ્યોગ એક હાથે તાળી નહીં વાગવા સમાન છે. વેરાવળ બંદરમાં સાગરપુત્રો કારીગરો જાળ ગુંથવામાં માહિર છે. જાળ ગુંથણીની કામગીરી ૪૦૦૦ જેટલા કારીગરો માટે રોજગારીનું માધ્યમ બની છે.
વેરાવળ-ભિડીયામાં ફિશીંગજાળ ગુથવાનો વ્યવસાય સતત બારેમાસ ચાલુ હોય છે. સિઝન દરમ્યાન આ જાળ ગુથવાની કામગરી સતત ધમધમતો રહે છે. બાદમાં માચ્છીમારીની સિઝનમાં અંતમાં અને ચોમાસાની સિઝનમાં આ વ્યવસાય ધીમીગતિએ કાર્યરત હોવાની સાથે જાળ ગુંથવામાં આવે છે.તેમ આ કામગીરી સાથે કારીગરોને રોજગારી આપતાશ્રી લાલાભાઇ ગોહેલે જણાવ્યુ હતુ.
તા. ૧૫મી ઓગષ્ટ નાં રોજ માચ્છીમારી સિઝન શરૂ થતી હોય ત્યારે પહેલા જાળ ગુથતા કારીગરો તેમનાં વ્યવસાયમાં અતિ વ્યસ્ત હોય છે. કારીગરો દ્વારા બે પ્રકારનાં જાળ વધુ પ્રમાણમાં ગુથવામાં આવે છે. જેમાં એક મોટી કણનાં જાળ જેની લંબાઇ મોટી હોય છે. આ જાળ ગુંથવા માટે વેપારીઓ પાસેથી જુદા-જુદા પ્રકારનાં જાળના પીસ(ટુંકડા) લઇ તેને સજાવવામાં આવે છે. પાંચેક કારીગરોની મદદથી છ થી સાત કલાકમાં તનતોડ મહેનત કરી આ મોટા કણની જાળ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવે છે. જેમાં દોરડું અને સુતરનો ઉપયોગ વધુ પ્રમાણમાં થાય છે. આ મોટાકણની જાળ ૨૦ થી ૨૨ દિવસની લોંગ ટ્રોલીંગ ફિશીંગ બોટમાં વધુ પ્રમાણમાં ઉપયોગમાં લેવામાં આવે છે. આ જાળમાં નાના માછલાનો બચાવ થવાની સાથે મોટી માછલીઓ જ જાળમાં આવે છે.
નાનાકણની જાળ ગુંથવામાં પણ કારીગરોની માસ્ટરી હોય છે. આ પ્રકારનાં જાળ ગુંથવામાં થોડો વધુ સમય લાગે છે. આ જાળ નાની હોવાની સાથે નાની ટ્રોલીંગ ફિશીંગ બોટ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવતી એક દિવસની લોકલ ફિશીંગમાં તેનો વધુ ઉપયોગ થાય છે. જેમાં નાની માછલીનો પણ શિકાર થઇ જાય છે. વેરાવળમાં ફીશીંગ જાળનું મટીરીયલ્સનું મોટા પ્રમાણમાં વેચાણ થાય છે. ૧૭ જેટલા મોટા વેપારીઓ આ મટીરીયલ્સનું વેચાણ કરે છે તેમ અરવીંદભાઇ ડાલકીએ જણાવ્યુ હતુ.
નાની હોડીઓ અને ફાયબરની જાળનાં વ્યવસાયની ફિશીંગ બોટ માટે પણ અલગથી જાળ ગુથવામાં આવે છે. આ જાળનો ફિશીંગ વ્યવસાય ટ્રોલીંગ ફિશીંગ વ્યવસાયથી તદ્દન વિપરીત છે. જાળનો વ્યવસાય સાથે સંકળાયેલા હોડી અને ફાયબરની બોટ દ્વારા દરિયામાં સાંજના સમયે જાળ નાખવામાં આવે છે. અંતે છ થી સાત કલાક બાદ પરત ઉઠાવી લેવામાં આવે છે. આ વ્યવસાય માટે પણ જાળ તૈયાર મળી રહે છે. જેને કારીગરો દ્વારા સાંઢા મારી તૈયાર કરે છે. જેમાં સુતરનાં જાળ, રેશમનાં જાળ અને પ્લાસ્ટીકની મજબુત આછી તંગીનાં જાળનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
વેરાવળ બંદરમાં જાળ ગુથવાનાં વ્યવસાય સાથે ૪૦૦૦ જેટલા કારીગરો સંકળાયેલા હોવાની સાથે તેમને રૂા. ૭ થી ૧૫ હજાર સુધીનું માસીક મહેનતાણું મળી રહે છે. સારા કારીગરોને રૂા. ૧૨ થી ૧૮ હજાર દર મહિને સરળતાથી કમાય શકે છે. આ વ્યવસાયમાં અનેક અભણ લોકોને સરળતાથી કામ મળવાની સાથે રોજગારી મળી રહે છે.
