અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશનનું નાણાકીય વર્ષ 2018-19 માટે 6990 કરોડનું બજેટ આજે રજુ કરાયું. સ્ટેન્ડિંગ કમિટીના ચેરમેન પ્રવિણકુમાર ભગવાનદાસ પટેલે 490 કરોડના વધારા સાથે આ બજેટને રજુ કર્યું. પ્રોપર્ટી અને વોટર ટેક્સના દર યથાવત રાખવામાં આવ્યાં છે. બજેટની જાહેરાત મુજબ વિકાસના કાર્યો પાછળ 3,490 કરોડ રૂપિયાનો ખર્ચ કરાશે. શહેરમાં 3 જગ્યાએ નવા ફ્લાય ઓવર બનાવવામાં આવશે. નવી ટીપી સ્કિમમાં આરસીસી રોડ પાછળ 15 કરોડ ખર્ચાશે. 6 નવા પાર્ટી પ્લોટ બનાવવામાં આવશે. સૌથી મહત્વની વસ્તુ એ છે કે કાંકરિયા ખાતે સિંગાપોર જેવું ફિશ એક્વેરિયમ બનાવવામાં આવશે. ચંડોળા ડેવલપમેન્ટ પ્રોજેક્ટ ઉપર પણ ધ્યાન આપવામાં આવશે.

-- મ્યુ.પ્રોપર્ટી ટેક્સ-કોન્ઝર્વન્સી ટેક્સ, વોટર ટેક્સના દરોમાં કોઈ જ વધારો કરાયો નથી.
- વાહનવેરા દરોમાં કોઈ જ વધારો નહીં.
- નરોડા પાટીયા ચાર રસ્તા ફ્લાય ઓવરબ્રિજ નવેસરથી તૈયાર કરવા માટે 10 કરોડ રૂપિયાની ફાળવણી.
- કાલુપુર રેલવે ઓવરબ્રિજ પહોળો કરવા, કુબેરનગર રેલવે ઓવરબ્રિજ અંગે ફીઝીબિલિટી રિપોર્ટ તથા વાસણા પિરાણા ડો.બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકર પુલ નીચે રંગસાગર ફ્લેટ પાસેથી પસાર થતા રસ્તા અંગે ફીઝિબિલિટી રિપોર્ટ ( રસ્તા ઉપર પુલની ઉંચાઈ સપ્રમાણ ન હોવાથી ઉંચાઈવાળા વાહનો પસાર થઈ શકતા નથી તેથી નાગરિકોને મુશ્કેલી પડે છે. જેને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને વાસણા પિરાણા ડો.બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકર રિવર બ્રિજના પશ્ચિમ તરફના ભાગની નીચેથી પસાર થતા વાહનોને વધુ ઊંચાઈ મળી રહે તે પ્રકારે આયોજન કરવા તેમજ વૈકલ્પિક રસ્તા અંગે આયોજન કરવા પ્રારંભિક ધોરણે. આ કામ માટે બજેટમાં 2 કરોડની જોગવાઈ.
- નવી ટીપી સ્કીમમાં આર.સી.સી.રોડનું આયોજન, ડામરના રસ્તાઓ પાણી ભરાવવાના કારણે વારંવાર તૂટી જાય છે. આ માટે બજેટમાં 15 કરોડની જોગવાઈ.

- સરસપુરના જૂના પુરાણા ડો.બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકર હોલને ડીમોલીશ કરીને નવી ડિઝાઈન તૈયાર કરી ડો.બાબાસાહેબ આંબેડકર ઓડીટોરિયમ તૈયાર કરવા માટે બજેટમાં 5 કરોડ રૂપિયાની જોગવાઈ.
- ગોમતીપુરમાં આવેલા વીર ભગતસિંહ કોમ્યુનિટી હોલનું નવીનિકરણ કરવાની જગ્યાએ ડીમોલીશ કરીને નવો કોમ્યુનિટી હોલ તૈયાર કરવા માટે બજેટમાં 3 કરોડની જોગવાઈ.
- પૂર્વ વિસ્તારમાં300 વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અભ્યાસ કરી શકે તેવી બેઠક વ્યવસ્થા સાથેની વાતાનુકૂલિત રિડિંગ લાઈબ્રેરી તથા સેમીનાર માટે 300 બેઠકોવાળો ઓડિટોરિયમ તૈયાર કરવા માટે 2 કરોડની ફાળવણી.
- પાણીના નવા બોર માટે 5 કરોડની ફાળવણી.
-ગુજરાત હાઉસિંગ બોર્ડ તથા સ્લમ ક્લિયરન્સ બોર્ડ તથા ઔડાની વસાહતોમાં ડ્રેનેજ,રસ્તા, લાઈટ, પાણી, વગેરે સુવિધાઓ માટે 10 કરોડ રૂપિયાની ફાળવણી.
- મ્યુનિ.કાઉન્સિલરોને પ્રજાલક્ષી વિકાસના કામો માટે વાર્ષિક મળતા 17 લાખના બજેટમાં 8 લાખ રૂપિયાનો વધારો કરીને 25 લાખ રૂપિયા કરાયો. જેમાંથી 3 લાખ માત્ર વોર્ડ અને શહેરની સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાન સંદર્ભે જ ઉપયોગમાં લેવાશે.
- ઝીરો બજેટ હેડ હેઠળ 14.66 કરોડ રૂપિયાની ફાળવણી.
- અમદાવાદ દેશનું પ્રથમ વર્લ્ડ હેરીટેજ સિટી બન્યું છે. વિશેષ દરજ્જો પ્રાપ્ત થવાના કારણે તેની ખાસ ઓળખ ઊભી થાય તે હેતુથી શહેરમાં પ્રવેશવાના મુખ્ય ચાર પ્રવેશ દ્વાર પર વર્લ્ડ હેરીટેજ સીટી પ્રવેશદ્વાર તૈયાર કરવા માટે 3 કરોડની જોગવાઈ.
- એ.એમસી હેરીટેજ બિલ્ડિંગ સરદાર પટેલ ભવનના નવીનિકરણ તથા હેરિટેજ ગેલેરી માટે એક કરોડની જોગવાઈ.

- સાબરમતી રીવર ફ્રન્ટમાં પ્રવેશતા રસ્તા પહોળા કરવાનું આયોજન, આ માટે 5 કરોડની જોગવાઈ.
- EWS તથા LIG આવાસ યોજનાની ખુલ્લી જગ્યામાં પેવર બ્લોક માટે 3 કરોડ રૂપિયાની જોગવાઈ.
- સ્વચ્છ ભારત અભિયાન વોલ ટુ વોલ રોડ કારપેટ કરવા માટે 5 કરોડની ફાળવણી.
- સરદાર પટેલ ભવન ખાતે વાહનોના પાર્કીંગની સુવિધા વધારવા માટે અન્ડરગ્રાઉન્ડ પાર્કીંગ સુવિધા અને ઓટોમેટેડ કાર પાર્કીંગ સુવિધા તૈયાર કરવા માટે 1 કરોડની જોગવાઈ.
