ઉત્તમ ક્ષમા- દિગમ્બર જૈન ક્ષમાવાણી પર્વ

ધર્મયાત્રાની આ કડીમાં અમે તમને લઈ જઈએ છીએ જુદા જુદા દિગમ્બર જૈન મંદિરોમાં. દિગમ્બર જૈન ધર્માવલંબી ભાદરવા મહિનામાં પર્યુષણ પર્વ ઉજવે છે. ઋષિ પંચમી (ગણેશ ચતુર્થીના એક દિવસ બાદ) થી આ પર્વની શરૂઆત થાય છે અને આ 10 દિવસ સુધી ચાલે છે. તેને તેઓ દસ લક્ષણના નામથી સંબોધિત કરે છે.

આમ તો પર્યુષણ પર્વ દિવાળી, ઈદ કે ક્રિસમસની જેમ હર્ષોલ્લાસ કે આનંદનો તહેવાર નથી. છતાં પણ આનો પ્રભાવ આખા સમાજમાં દેખાઈ આવે છે. આ રીતનો હર્ષોલ્લાસ ઈંદોરના જુદા જુદા દિગમ્બર જૈન મંદિરોમાં આ વર્ષે જોવા મળ્યો. હજારોની સંખ્યામાં જૈન ધર્માવલંબીઓ ભગવાન મહાવીરના દર્શન કરવા માટે વિશેષ રૂપથી શણગારવામાં આવેલ મંદિરની અંદર ઉમટી પડ્યાં હતાં.

પર્યુષણ જ્યારે પુર્ણ થવા આવે છે ત્યારે તે દરમિયન ક્ષમત્ક્ષમાપના કે ક્ષમાવાણી પર્વ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. આ દિવસોમાં જૈન ધર્માવલંબી આખા વર્ષ દરમિયાન જો તેમનાથી કોઈને અજાણતા દુ:ખ પહોચ્યુ હોય તો તેઓ આ કાર્યો બદલ તેમની પાસે ક્ષમા માંગે છે. કહેવામાં આવે છે કે ક્ષમા માંગનાર કરતાં ક્ષમા આપનારનું સ્થાન ઉંચુ હોય છે.
