સંપૂર્ણ સિંઘ કૈરા એ ગુલઝારનું મૂળ નામ છે.ગુલઝારને પદ્મભૂષણ, દાદાસાહેબ ફાળકે ઍવૉર્ડ અને ઍકેડમી ઍવૉર્ડ અને ગ્રેમી ઍવૉર્ડ પણ એનાયત થયેલો છે.

ગુલઝારની સાથે હિન્દી ફિલ્મોના વિલનની ભૂમિકાથી જાણીતા થયેલા પ્રેમ ચોપડાએ પણ બાન્દ્રામાં મત આપ્યો હતો.

વિવેકે ઓબેરોય વડા પ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના જીવન પરની ફિલ્મમાં નરેન્દ્ર મોદીની ભૂમિકા ભજવી રહ્યા છે.

જાણીતા ક્રિકેટર સચીન તેંડુલકરે બાન્દ્રામાં પત્ની અંજલિ અને પુત્ર અર્જુન સાથે મત આપ્યો હતો.

સચીન તેંડુલકર બાન્દ્રા પશ્ચિમથી મતદાર છે. ક્રિકેટમાં અનેક વિક્રમો પોતાને નામે કરનાર સચીન તેંડુલકરને ભારતરત્નથી સન્માનિત કરાયા હતા.

હરિયાણાના મુખ્ય મંત્રી મનોહરલાલ ખટ્ટર સાઇકલ પર મતદાનમથકે પહોંચ્યા હતા.

હરિયાણામાં ભાજપ, કૉંગ્રેસ, નેશનલ લોક દળ અને જનનાયક જનતા પાર્ટી વચ્ચે મુકાબલો છે.

હરિયાણામાં 90 બેઠકો પર મતદાન થઈ રહ્યું છે.

હરિયાણા વિધાનસભા માટે મતદાન શરૂ થઈ ગયું છે. મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં સત્તાધારી ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટી-શિવસેનાનું જોડાણ સતત બીજી વખત સત્તા પર આવવાનો પ્રયાસ કરી રહ્યું છે અને વિપક્ષ કોંગ્રેસ-રાષ્ટ્રવાદી કોંગ્રેસ પાર્ટી (એનસીપી) ગઠબંધન સત્તા પર પાછા આવવા માટે પ્રયાસ કરી રહી છે. હરિયાણામાં 90 સભ્યોની વિધાનસભાની ચૂંટણીમાં, હરીફાઈ મોટાભાગે ભાજપ અને કોંગ્રેસ વચ્ચે છે. 18 રાજ્યોમાં 51 વિધાનસભા બેઠકો અને બે લોકસભા બેઠકો માટે પેટાચૂંટણી પણ યોજાશે. બંને રાજ્યો સોમવારે મતદાન કરશે અને 24 ઓક્ટોબરે મતોની ગણતરી કરવામાં આવશે. આ દિવસે જીત અને હારનો નિર્ણય હશે.

મહારાષ્ટ્ર વિધાનસભાની ચૂંટણી માટે કુલ 3239 ઉમેદવારો મેદાનમાં છે, જેમાં 150 મહિલા ઉમેદવારો પણ પોતાનું નસીબ અજમાવી રહી છે. આ વખતે રાજ્યની મુખ્ય હરિફાઈ ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટી-શિવસેના-રિપબ્લિકન પાર્ટી ઑફ ઇન્ડિયા (આઠવલે) અને કોંગ્રેસ-રાષ્ટ્રવાદી કોંગ્રેસ પાર્ટી (એનસીપી) ના મહાગઠબંધન વચ્ચે છે.

સવારે 9 વાગ્યા સુધીમાં મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં 2 ટકા અને હરિયાણામાં 10 ટકા મતદાન થયું.
