બોહરા સમાજ- મુસ્લિમોનો એ સમાજ જેમણે હંમેશાથી જ મોદીનો સાથ આપ્યો છે

મુસલમાનોમાં બોહરા સમાજ અને પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના સંબંધ જગજાહેર છે. દેશના મુસલમાન ભલે બીજેપીને વોટ ન આપતા હોય, પણ ગુજરાતમાં સીએમ રહેતા મોદીએ જ્યારે વ્યાપારિયોના હિત માટે નીતીઓ બનાવી તો બોહરા મુસ્લિમ તેમની સાથે હંમેશા જોડાયા અને આજે પણ સાથે જ છે.

બોહરા ધર્મગુરૂ સૈયદના મુફદલ સૈફુદ્દીન અને પીએમ નરેન્દ્ર મોદી કોઈ પણ બીજા નેતા કરતા જનતામાં નિર્વિવાદ રૂપથી વધારે લોકપ્રિય છે. આ જુદી વાત છે કે મુસલમાનોના વચ્ચે તેમની લોકપ્રિયતાનો દાવો તેટલો વિશ્વાસ નહી કરાવી શકે. પણ મુસ્લિમોનો એક સમાજ એવો છે જે શરૂઆતથી મોદીની સાથે રહ્યું છે. આ સમાજ છે બોહર સમુદાય, જે ગુજરાતમાં સીએમ રહેતા મોદીની સાથે ઉભો હતો અને આજે જ્યારે મોદી પીએમ પદ પર છે તો પણ આ સમાજ તેમના નિકટ છે.

પીએમ મોદી શુક્રવારે આ દાઉદી બોહરા સમુદાયના 53વાં ધર્મગુરુ સૈયદના મુફદલ સૈફુદ્દીનના ઈંદૌરમાં થતાં વાઅજ(પ્રવચન)માં શામેલ થશે. બોહરા સમાજના ઈતિહાસમાં આવું પહેલીવાર થશે. જ્યારે કોઈ પીએમ તેમના ધાર્મિક કાર્યક્રમમાં શામેલ થશે. તેનાથી નોહરા સમુદાય અને નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના વચ્ચેના સંબંધને સારી રીતે સમજી શકાય છે.

ગુજરાતમાં મુસ્લિમ સમાજની આબાદી આશરે 9 ટકા છે. તેમાં બોહરા સમાજ માત્ર એક ટકા છે. આ કારોબારી સમાજ છે. ગુજરાતના દાહોદ, રાજકોટ અને જામનગર તેનો જ ક્ષેત્ર ગણાય છે. 2002ના ગુજરાત દંગના સમયે બોહરા સમાજના ઘર અને દુકાનો સળગાવી દીધી હતી. તેમાં તેનો ખૂબ નુકશાન થયું હતું.

ગુજરાત દંગા પછી વિધાનસાભા ચૂંટણીમાં બોહરા સમાજએ બીજેપીના વિરોધ કર્યું હતું. તે સિવાય મોદીએ સત્તામાં વાપસી કરી. ત્યારબાદ મોદીએ ગુજરાતએ સમુદાયના સયદનાથી મળવું પણ આ સમુદાયને મોદી અને બીજેપીના નજીક લાવ્યું.

મધ્ય પ્રદેશમાં આવતા થોડા મહીનામાં વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણી થવાના છે. ઈંદોરના 4 નંબર સીટ પર બોહરા સમુદાયની નજીક 40 હજારની જનસંખ્યા છે. તે સિવાય બીજી ત્રણ સીટોં એવી છે જ્યાં થી 10 થી 15 વોટ બોહરા સમાજનો છે.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે દેશમાં 20 લાખથી વધારે બોહરા સમાજના લોકો છે. મુસ્લિમ મુખ્ય રૂપથી બે ભાગમાં વહેચાયેલો છે શિયા અને સુન્નિઓની સાથે-સાથે ઈસલામને માનનારા 72 ફિરકોનાં વહેચ્યા છે. બોહરા શિયા અને સુન્ની બન્ને હોય છે. સુન્ની બોહરાનફી ઈસ્લામિક કાનૂનને માને છે. જ્યારે દાઉદી બોહરા માન્યતાઓમાં શિયાઓના આશરે અને 21 ઈમામોને માને છે.

બોહરા સમાજ સૂફીયો અને મજારો પર ખાસ વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે અને ઈસ્માઈલી શિયા સમુદાયનો ઉપ સમુદાય છે. આ તેમની પ્રાચીન પરંપરાઓથી પૂરી રીતે સંકળાયેલી કૌમ છે. જેમાં માત્ર તેમનાજ સમાજમાંલગ્ન કરવા શામેલ છે. તે સિવાય ઘણા હિંદુ પ્રથાઓને પણ તેમના રહન -સહનમાં જોવાય છે.

'બોહરા' ગુજરાતી શબ્દ 'વહૌરાઉ' એટલે કે વ્યાપારનો અપભંશ છે. આ મુસ્તાલી મતનો ભાગ છે જે 11મી શતાબદીમાં ઉત્તરી મિશ્રથી ધર્મ પ્રચારકોના માધ્યમથી ભારતમાં આવ્યા હતા. બોહરા સમાજ 1539માં તેમના મુખ્યાલય યમનથી ભારતમાં સિદ્ધપુર લઈ આવ્યો.
