દિશા બૉલીવુડમાં સુશાંત સિંહ સાથે પ્રથમ ફિલ્મ "એમએસ ધોની દ અનટોલ્ડ સ્ટોરી" કરી હતી. આ ફિલ્મમાં તેનો રોલ નાનું હતું પણ લોકોને ઈંપ્રેસ કરવામાં સફળ રહી.

બૉલીવુડમાં ડેબ્યૂ કરતા પહેલાં, દિશા તેલુગુ ફિલ્મ 'લોફર' માં દેખાઇ હતી. આ પછી તેણે એક મ્યુઝિક વિડિયો કરી, ત્યારબાદ તેણે બોલિવૂડના પ્રવાસ શરૂ કર્યો. તેમ છતાં તેના 'કૂંગ ફુ પાડા' ફિલ્મ સમાચારની હેડલાઇન્સમાં છે.
