સોળ સોમવાર - શ્રાવણ મહિનાનું વ્રત અને પૂજા વિધિ

સોળ સોમવારનું વ્રત: શ્રાવણ મહિનાને હિન્દુ શાસ્ત્રમાં સૌથી પવિત્ર મહિનો માનવામાં આવે છે. આથી આ મહિનામાં સોળ સોમવારનું વ્રત શરૂ કરવાથી મનોવાંચ્છિત ફળ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે અને તેનું અનેકગણું પુણ્ય મળે છે. સોળ સોમવારનું વ્રત શરૂ કરવા માટે આ સમય ખૂબ ઉત્તમ માનવામાં આવે છે. તો આવો જાણીએ સોળ સોમવારની વ્રત વિધિ.. 
 
સવારે સૂર્યોદય પહેલા સ્નાન કરવું.
ઘરના મંદિરમાં પૂજા-અર્ચના કરવી.
શિવલિંગ પર દુધનો અભિષેક કરવા માટે શિવ મંદિરે જવું.
શિવજી સમક્ષ આસન પાથરીને બેસવું અને શ્રદ્ધાપૂર્વક મહાદેવના વ્રતનો સંકલ્પ કરવો.
આખો દિવસ ઉપવાસ કરવો તેમજ સવારે અને સાંજે શિવજીની પૂજા-અર્ચના કરવી.
પૂજા માટે તલના તેલનો દીપક પ્રગટાવવો અને ભગવાન શિવને પુષ્પો અર્પણ કરવા.
ભગવાન શિવજીને સોપારી, પંચામૃત, નાળીયેર અને બિલ્વપત્ર અર્પણ કરવા.
વ્રત દરમિયાન સોળ સોમવારના વ્રતની વાર્તા અચુક વાંચવી.
 
 સોળ સોમવારના વ્રતની વાર્તા
પૂજા સમાપ્ત થયા પછી પ્રસાદ વહેંચવો.
સાંજે પૂજા પૂર્ણ થયા પછી વ્રતના પારણા કરવા માટે સાત્વિક ભોજન લેવું.
 
સોળ સોમવારના વ્રતથી થતા ફાયદા
 
- શ્રાવણ મહિનો શિવજીને સમર્પિત છે. આથી, કોઇપણ ભક્ત સાચા મનથી અને આસ્થાપૂર્વક મહાદેવની પૂજા કરે અને ઉપવાસ કરે તો નિશ્ચિતરૂપે શિવજીના આશીર્વાદ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે.
 
- વિવાહિત મહિલાઓ તેના દાંપત્યજીવનમાં ખુશીઓ લાવવા માટે અને અવિવાહિત યુવતીઓ સારા પતિની પ્રાપ્તિ માટે પણ શિવજીનું વ્રત રાખે છે.

-  જે લોકોને સંતાન ન થતા હોય દંપતી પણ જો આ વ્રત કરે તો તેમને જરૂર તેનુ ફળ મળે છે. 
 
- સોળ સોમવારના વ્રત એટલે સોળ સોમવાર સુધી કરવા.. સોળ સોમવાર પછી આ વ્રત પુર્ણ થાય છે અને સોળ સોમવાર પછી જ તેની ઉજવણી પણ કરી શકાય છે. જો તમે વ્રત કોઈ વિશેષ ઈચ્છા ભોલેનાથ સામે દર્શાવી હોય તો જે સુધી તે ઈચ્છા પૂર્ણ ન થાય ત્યા સુધી તે કરતા રહો.  જો તમારી ઈચ્છા એક જ વર્ષમાં પુર્ણ થઈ જાય તો તમે તે બીજા વર્ષે ન પણ કરો તો વાંધો નથી.  આ તમારી ઈચ્છા અને શ્રદ્ધા પર છે.
