चैत्र नवरात्रि और श्रीराम नवमी (Shri Ram Navami 2022) पर रामचरित मानस, वाल्मीकि रामायण, सुंदरकांड आदि के अनुष्ठान की परंपरा रही है। मंत्रों का जाप भी किया जाता है। उन्हें या उनमें से किसी एक के करने पर इच्छापूर्ति नि:संदेह पूर्ण होगी।
धार्मिक शास्त्रों के अनुसार प्रभु श्री राम नाम की शक्ति असीमित है। उनके नाम से लिखे पत्थर तैर गए। उनके द्वारा चलाया गया अमोघ बाण रामबाण अचूक कहलाया तो उनके मंत्र की शक्ति का तो कहना क्या?

(1) 'राम' यह मंत्र अपने आप में पूर्ण है तथा शुचि-अशुचि अवस्था में भी जपा जा सकता है। यह तारक मंत्र कहलाता है।
(2) 'रां रामाय नम:' सकाम जपा जाने वाला यह मंत्र राज्य, लक्ष्मी पुत्र, आरोग्य व विपत्ति नाश के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
(3) 'ॐ रामचंद्राय नम:' क्लेश दूर करने के लिए प्रभावी मंत्र है।
(4) 'ॐ रामभद्राय नम:' कार्य की बाधा दूर करने के लिए अवश्व प्रभावी है।
(5) 'ॐ जानकी वल्लभाय स्वाहा' प्रभु कृपा प्राप्त करने व मनोकामना पूर्ति के लिए जपने योग्य है।
(6) 'ॐ नमो भगवते रामचंद्राय' विपत्ति-आपत्ति के निवारण के लिए जपा जाता है।
(7) 'श्रीराम जय राम, जय-जय राम' इस मंत्र का कोई सानी नही है। शुचि-अशुचि अवस्था में जपने योग्य है।
(8) श्रीराम गायत्री मंत्र 'ॐ दशरथाय नम: विद्महे सीता वल्लभाय धीमहि तन्नो राम: प्रचोदयात्।' यह मंत्र समस्त संकटों का शमन करने वाला तथा ऋद्धि-सिद्धि देने वाला माना गया है।
(9) 'ॐ नम: शिवाय', 'ॐ हं हनुमते श्री रामचंद्राय नम:।' यह मंत्र एकसाथ कई कार्य करता है। स्त्रियां भी जप सकती हैं।
साधारणतया हनुमान जी के मंत्र उग्र होते हैं। शिव तथा राम मंत्र के साथ जप करने से उनकी उग्रता समाप्त हो जाती है।
(10) 'ॐ रामाय धनुष्पाणये स्वाहा:' शत्रु शमन, न्यायालय, मुकदमे आदि की समस्या से मुक्ति हेतु प्रशस्त है।

हर साल चैत्र नवरात्रि की नवमी तिथि को श्री राम नवमी के रूप में मनाया जाता है। आइए जानें प्रभु श्री राम की उपासना के लिए क्या करें इस दिन-
- चैत्र शुक्ल नवमी के दिन प्रभु श्री राम की उपासना के लिए सबसे पहले स्नानादि से निवृत्त होकर सभी सामग्री एकत्रित कर लें।
- स्वच्छ वस्त्र धारण करके और पवित्र होकर पूजा गृह को शुद्ध करके पूजा स्थल पर पूजन सामग्री के साथ आसन पर बैठ जाएं।
- चौकी अथवा लकड़ी के पटरे पर लाल वस्त्र बिछाएं।
- उस पर श्री राम जी की मूर्ति स्थापित करें।
- साथ में श्री राम दरबार की तस्वीर अवश्य रखेंऔर उसे सजाएं।
- पूजा के लिए तुलसी पत्ते और कमल का फूल अवश्य रख लें।
- सभी सामग्री के साथ श्रीराम नवमी की पूजा षोडशोपचार से करें।
- श्रीराम के सबसे प्रिय पदार्थ खीर और फल-मूल को प्रसाद के रूप में तैयार करें।
- पूजा के बाद घर की सबसे छोटी महिला या लड़की घर के सभी सदस्यों के माथे पर तिलक लगाएं।
इसके अलावा श्री रामरक्षा स्तोत्र, सुंदरकांड, हनुमान चालीसा, बजरंग बाण आदि का पाठ करके अधिक लाभ प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।
