भगवान श्रीकृष्ण विष्णु जी के आठवें अवतार हैं। अष्टमी और रोहिणी नक्षत्र के योग में इनका जन्म हुआ था। जन्माष्टमी पर लोग कान्हा जी के बाल स्वरूप की पूजा करते हैं। कई लोग अपने घरों में बाल गोपाल को रखते हैं। बाल गोपाल की पूजा और सेवा एक छोटे बच्चे की भांति की जाती है।
सर्वविदित हैं कि भादो के महीने की षष्ठी को बलराम और अष्टमी को भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का जन्म रोहिणी नक्षत्र में हुआ था। इस माह में भगवान विष्णु की पूजन अर्चन पूजा करनी चाहिए।
इस दिन पूरे दिन सर्वार्थ सिद्धि योग है। जन्माष्टमी पर राहुकाल दोपहर 12:27 बजे से 02:06 बजे तक रहेगा।
इस बार जन्माष्टमी पर कृतिका नक्षत्र रहेगा, उसके बाद रोहिणी नक्षत्र रहेगा, जो 13 अगस्त तक रहेगा।
पूजा का शुभ समय : रात 12 बजकर 5 मिनट से लेकर 12 बजकर 47 मिनट तक है।
लड्डू गोपाल की सेवा से घर की सभी परेशानियां दूर हो सकती हैं। लड्डू गोपाल के प्रसन्न होने से व्यक्ति का मन बहुत प्रसन्न रहता है। लड्डू गोपाल भाव के भूखे होते हैं। वैदिक या हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार, हर वर्ष श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी भाद्रपद मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि और रोहिणी नक्षत्र में मनाया जाता है।
कई बार ज्योतिष गणना में तिथि और नक्षत्र में समय का अंतर रहता है, इसलिए तारीखों में मतभेद होता है। पिछले वर्ष की भांति इस बार भी तिथि नक्षत्र का संजोग नहीं मिलने के कारण 11 तथा 12 अगस्त को कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी मनाई जाएगी।
कुछ स्थानों पर तो 13 अगस्त को भी जन्माष्टमी बनाई जा रही है, इससे भक्त असमंजस की स्थिति में आ गए हैं कि आखिर जन्माष्टमी मनाए जाने की मुख्य तिथि क्या है। ज्यादातर पंचांगों में 11 और 12 अगस्त को जन्माष्टमी है, लेकिन ऋषिकेश और उत्तर प्रदेश के कुछ इलाकों में 13 अगस्त को भी जन्माष्टमी मनाने की तैयारी है।

वैष्णव मत के मुताबिक 12 अगस्त को जन्माष्टमी मनाना श्रेष्ठ है। इसलिए मथुरा (उत्तर प्रदेश) और द्वारिका (गुजरात) दोनों जगहों पर 12 अगस्त को ही जन्मोत्सव मनेगा। जगन्नाथपुरी में 11 अगस्त की रात को कृष्ण जन्म होगा। वहीं काशी और उज्जैन जैसे शहरों में भी 11 को ही जन्माष्टमी मनाई जाएगी। गृहस्थ लोगों के लिए जन्माष्टमी पर्व 11 अगस्त को रहेगा। वहीं, साधु और सन्यासियों के लिए 12 अगस्त को।जन्माष्टमी पर भगवान कृष्ण को दक्षिणावर्ती शंख से अभिषेक कर पंचामृत अर्पित करना चाहिए। माखन मिश्री का भोग लगाएं।
12 अगस्त 2020 को जन्माष्टमी मनाने के तर्क:
भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का जन्म अष्टमी तिथि और रोहिणी नक्षत्र के योग में हुआ था। लेकिन, इस बार तिथि और नक्षत्र का संयोग एक ही दिन नहीं बन रहा है। मंगलवार, 12 अगस्त को अष्टमी तिथि पूरे दिन और रातभर रहेगी। इस वजह से इस वर्ष 12 अगस्त 2020 की रात में जन्माष्टमी मनाना ज्यादा शुभ रहेगा।
12 अगस्त 2020 को ही श्रीकृष्ण के लिए व्रत उपवास और पूजा पाठ करना चाहिए। मतानुसार वे मथुरा और द्वारिका नगरी के संग ही जन्माष्टमी मनाएंगे।
अष्टमी तिथि 12 अगस्त 2020 को सूर्योदय काल में रहेगी, लेकिन सुबह आठ बजे ही तिथि बदल जाएगी। ये दिन अष्टमी और नवमी तिथि से युक्त रहेगा। इसलिए 12 अगस्त 2020 को ही जन्माष्टमी पर्व मनाना उचित होगा।
इस वर्ष भगवान श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी पर बन रहा विशेष योग :
कृतिका नक्षत्र लगेगा। यही नहीं, चंद्रमा मेष राशि और सूर्य कर्क राशि में रहेंगे। कृतिका नक्षत्र और राशियों की इस स्थिति से वृद्धि योग बना रहा है। इस तरह बुधवार की रात के बताए गए मुहूर्त में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा करने से दोगुना फल मिलेगा।
इस बार तिथियों की घट-बढ़ के कारण मतभेद है। कोई 11 अगस्त बता रहा है तो कोई 12 अगस्त। हालांकि अधिकांश पंचांग में इसके लिए 12 अगस्त की तारीख तय की गई है।
अष्टमी तिथि 11 अगस्त मंगलवार सुबह 9 बजकर 6 मिनट से शुरू हो जाएगी और 12 अगस्त सुबह 11 बजकर 16 मिनट तक रहेगी। वैष्णव जन्माष्टमी के लिए 12 अगस्त का शुभ मुहूर्त बताया जा रहा है। बुधवार की रात 12.05 बजे से 12.47 बजे तक भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की पूजा की जा सकती है।
कृष्ण जन्म की तिथि और नक्षत्र इस वर्ष एक साथ नहीं मिल रहे। 11 अगस्त 2020 को अष्टमी तिथि सूर्योदय के बाद लगेगी, लेकिन पूरे दिन और रात में रहेगी। भगवान कृष्ण का जन्म अष्टमी तिथि को रोहिणी नक्षत्र में हुआ था।
इस वर्ष जन्माष्टमी पर्व पर श्रीकृष्ण की तिथि और जन्म नक्षत्र का संयोग नहीं बन रहा है। पहले पुरी और मथुरा की अलग अलग तिथियों को लेकर त्यौहार दो दिन मनाने की नौबत आती थी।
श्रीमद्भागवत दशम स्कंध में कृष्ण जन्म प्रसंग में उल्लेख मिलता है। इसमें कहा गया है कि जिस समय पृथ्वी पर अर्धरात्रि में कृष्ण अवतरित हुए ब्रज में उस समय पर घनघोर बादल छाए थे, लेकिन चंद्रदेव ने दिव्य दृष्टि से अपने वंशज को जन्म लेते दर्शन किए। आज भी कृष्ण जन्म के समय अर्धरात्रि में चंद्रमा उदय होता है। उस समय धर्मग्रंथ में अर्धरात्रि का जिक्र है।

हिन्दू कैलेंडर के अनुसार, इस वर्ष भाद्रपद कृष्ण अष्टमी तिथि का प्रारंभ 11 अगस्त को सुबह 09 बजकर 06 मिनट से हो रहा है, जो 12 अगस्त को दिन में 11 बजकर 16 मिनट तक रहेगी। वहीं रोहिणी नक्षत्र का प्रारंभ 13 अगस्त को तड़के 03 बजकर 27 मिनट से हो रहा है और समापन सुबह 05 बजकर 22 मिनट पर होगा। ऐसे में 12 अगस्त को जन्माष्टमी मनाना उचित रहेगा।
जन्माष्टमी पूजा का समय :
जन्माष्टमी की पूजा के लिए आपको 43 मिनट का समय मिलेगी। आप 12 अगस्त की रात 12 बजकर 05 मिनट से 12 बजकर 48 मिनट तक श्रीकृष्ण जन्म की पूजा कर सकते हैं।
जगन्नााथपुरी में 11 व द्वारिका में 12 अगस्त :
द्वारिका धाम मंदिर के पुजारी पं. प्रणव भाई के मुताबिक, 12 अगस्त को जन्मोत्सव मनाना शुभ है। वहीं, जगन्नाथपुरी के पुजारी पं. श्याम महापात्रा के मुताबिक, ओडिशा सूर्य उपासक प्रदेश है। इसलिए यहां सूर्य की स्थिति को देखते हुए त्योहार मनाए जाते हैं। इसलिए पुरी मंदिर में 11 अगस्त 2020 को भगवान कृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव और 12 अगस्त 2020 को नंदोत्सव मनाया जाएगा।
मथुरा और द्वारिका में जन्माष्टमी:
इस वर्ष मथुरा और द्वारिका में जन्माष्टमी 12 अगस्त के दिन ही मनाई जाएगी। वहीं बनारस, उज्जैन और जगन्नाथ पुरी में कृष्ण जन्मोत्सव एक दिन पहले 11 अगस्त को ही मनाई जाएगी।
जन्माष्टमी व्रत :
श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का व्रत सभी आयु वर्ग के लोग कर सकते हैं, हालांकि जिनको स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं हैं, वे न करें तो अच्छा है। व्रत न रखकर वे केवल भगवान की आराधना करें। ज्योतिषीय मान्यताओं के अनुसार, जन्माष्टमी का व्रत करने से व्यक्ति को बाल कृष्ण जैसी संतान प्राप्त होती है।
जाने और समझें श्री कृष्ण भगवान के अवतरण के कारण को:
जन्माष्टमी पर्व भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव है। उनका जन्म भाद्रपद माह में कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि रोहिणी नक्षत्र में हुआ था। इस बार यह तिथि 12 अगस्त को है। जन्माष्टमी पर्व हिन्दू धर्म के प्रमुख त्योहारों में से एक है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के भक्त इस पर्व को बड़ी धूमधाम के साथ मनाते हैं। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण भगवान विष्णु के आठवें अवतार हैं। वे वसुदेव और देवकी की पुत्र थे। मथुरा के कारावास में उनका जन्म हुआ था और गोकुल में यशोदा और नन्द के यहां उनका लालन पालन हुआ था।
भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का जन्म द्वापर युग में हुआ था। हालांकि भगवान हर युग में जन्म लेते हैं। द्वापर में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का जन्म क्यों हुआ था इस बात को स्वयं लीलाधर ने गीता के एक श्लोक में बताया है जो इस प्रकार है -
यदा यदा ही धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत। अभ्युथानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम्।
परित्राणाय साधुनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्। धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे।।
इस श्लोक में श्रीकृष्ण ने अपने अवतरित होने के कारण को बताया है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने महाभारत युद्ध में अर्जुन को यह बताया था कि जब जब धरती पर पाप बढ़ेगा। धर्म का नाश होगा। साधु-संतों का जीना मुश्किल हो जाएगा उस समय धर्म की पुनः स्थापना के लिए भगवान विष्णु अवतरित होंगे।
इस बात को तुलसीदास जी ने अपने एक दोहे की चौपाई में कहा है जो इस प्रकार है- जब जब होई धरम की हानि, बाढ़हिं असुर अधम अभिमानी, तब-तब प्रभु धरि विविध सरीरा, हरहिं कृपानिधि सज्जन पीरा। अर्थात जब-जब धर्म का ह्रास होता है और अभिमानी राक्षस प्रवृत्ति के लोग बढ़ने लगते हैं तब तब कृपानिधान प्रभु भांति-भांति के दिव्य शरीर धारण कर सज्जनों की पीड़ा हरते हैं। वे असुरों को मारकर देवताओं को स्थापित करते हैं।
कहा जाता है कि द्वापर में क्षत्रियों की शक्ति बहुत बढ़ गई थी। वे अपने बल पर देवताओं को भी चुनौती देने लगे थे। इसके अलावा हिरण्यकश्यप और हिरण्याक्ष ने बदलकर धरती पर जन्म लिया था जिसका अंत करने के भगवान विष्णु ने स्वयं कृष्ण के रूप में अवतार लिया था। भगवान विष्णु के दस अवतार हैं :

शारीरिक दूरी का पालन करते हुए लोग अपनी कॉलोनी, मोहल्ले, गांव के श्रीकृष्ण मंदिर में पूजा अर्चना करें। यदि मंदिर खुलने की अनुमति न हो तो अपने घरों में परम्परानुसार झूला लगाकर पूजा अर्चना कर सकते हैं। यथा सम्भव पीताम्बर परिधान धारण करें। रात में कान्हा को पंजीरी का भोग लगाएं।
