17 मार्च होलिका दहन के बाद धुलेंडी का पर्व मनाया जाता है। इसे रंगों वाली होली भी कहते हैं। इसके बाद 22 मार्च रंगपंचमी पर भी रंगों वाली होली खेली जाएगी। आओ जानते हैं धुलेंडी के दिन करते हैं कौनसे पांच खास काया।
1. विष्णु पूजा और धुल वंदन : कहते हैं कि त्रैतायुग के प्रारंभ में विष्णु ने धूलि वंदन किया था। इसकी याद में धुलेंडी मनाई जाती है। धूल वंदन अर्थात लोग एक दूसरे पर धूल लगाते हैं। कई जगहों पर होली की राख को लगाते हैं। होली के अगले दिन धुलेंडी के दिन सुबह के समय लोग एक दूसरे पर कीचड़, धूल लगाते हैं। पुराने समय में यह होता था जिसे धूल स्नान कहते हैं। पुराने समय में चिकनी मिट्टी की गारा का या मुलतानी मिट्टी को शरीर पर लगाया जाता था।
धुलेंडी मुहूर्त (Dhulandi Muhurat 2022):
- 18 मार्च 2022 प्रातः होली पूजा मुहूर्त- 04:53 से 06:04 तक।
- 18 मार्च 2022 अभिजीत मुहूर्त सुबह 11:42 से 12:30 तक।
2. पहली होली पर डालते हैं रंग : लैंडी पर सूखा रंग उस घर के लोगों पर डाला जाता हैं जहां किसी की मौत हो चुकी होती है। कुछ राज्यों में इस दिन उन लोगों के घर जाते हैं जहां गमी हो गई है। उन सदस्यों पर होली का रंग प्रतिकात्म रूप से डालकर कुछ देर वहां बैठा जाता है। कहते हैं कि किसी के मरने के बाद कोईसा भी पहला त्योहार नहीं मनाते हैं।
3. एक दूसरे के गले मिलते हैं : पुराने समय में होलिका दहन के बाद धुलेंडी के दिन लोग एक-दूसरे से प्रहलाद के बच जाने की खुशी में गले मिलते थे, मिठाइयां बांटते थे। हालांकि आज भी यह करते हैं परंतु अब भक्त प्रहलाद को कम ही याद किया जाता है।

4. रंग खेलना : आजकल होली के अगले दिन धुलेंडी को पानी में रंग मिलाकर होली खेली जाती है तो रंगपंचमी को सूखा रंग डालने की परंपरा रही है। कई जगह इसका उल्टा होता है।
5. भांग, ठंडाई, पकवान, पकोड़े : इस दिन रंग खेलने, गले मिलने के साथ ही भांग या ठंडाई का सेवन किया जाता है। साथ ही इस दिन भजिये या पकोड़े खाने का प्रचलन है। शाम को स्नान आदि से निवृत्त होने के बाद गिल्की के पकोड़े का मजा लिया जाता है। पकवान में पूरणपोली, दही बड़ा, गुजिया, रबड़ी खीर, बेसन की सेंव, आलू पुरी आदि व्यंजन बनाए जाते हैं।
6. संपदा देवी का पूजन : कहते हैं कि इस धन-धान्य की देवी संपदाजी की पूजा होली के दूसरे दिन यानी धुलेंडी के दिन की जाती है। इस दिन महिलाएं संपदा देवी के नाम का डोरा बांधकर व्रत रखती हैं तथा कथा सुनती हैं। मिठाई युक्त भोजन से पारण करती है। इस बाद हाथ में बंधे डोरे को वैशाख माह में किसी भी शुभ दिन इस डोरे को शुभ घड़ी में खोल दिया जाता है। यह डोरा खोलते समय भी व्रत रखकर कथा पढ़ी या सुनी जाती है।
7. होली समारोह और गेर : इस दिन होली का समारोह आयोजित करके लोग नृत्य, गान, लोकगीत और होली गीत गाते हैं। साथ ही समाज या परिवार में होली मिलन समारोह रखा जाता है। इस दिन सभी लोग एक दूसरे से गले मिलकर मनमुटाव दूर करते हैं। होली मिलन समारोह में रंग खेलने के साथ ही तरह तरह के पकवान भी खाए जाते हैं और लोग एक दूसरे को मिठाईयां भी देते हैं। इस दिन कई स्थानों से जलूस निकालने की परंपरा है, जिसे गेर कहते हैं। जलूस में बैंड-बाजे-नाच-गाने सब शामिल होते हैं। इसके लिए सभी अपने अपने स्तर पर तैयारी करते हैं।
