પ્રકૃતિએ માણસને ઉત્સવ ઉજવવાની અનેક તકો પોતાની તરફથી પણ આપી છે. મુશળધાર વરસાદમાં તર થઈને ગરમા ગરમ ભજીયા ખાવા કોઈ ઉત્સવથી ઓછુ નથી. જ્યારે કે ઠંડીની ઋતુમાં તાપણીની આજુબાજુ નાચવા જેવી કોઈ મજા બીજી કોઈ નથી. એવી જ રીતે સાધારણ ઠંડી અને કુણા કુણા તાપવાળા કોમ્બિનેશનવાળી ઋતુ એટલે જ વસંત ઋતુ. વસંત ઋતુને થોડી મસ્તી અને થોડા પૂજા પાઠ સાથે ઉજવવાનો રિવાજ છે કલમ આરાધનાનો દિવસ - આ ઋતુમાં વસંત પંચમીના દિવસે દેવી સરસ્વતીની આરાધના કરવાના દિવસના રૂપમાં પણ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. ઘણા સમાજમાં આ દિવસે દેવી સરસ્વતીની વિધિવત પૂજા કરી તેના જ્ઞાનનો આલોક ફેલાવવાની કામના કરવામાં આવે છે. ખાસ કરીને બંગાળી સમાજમાં આ દિવસ ખૂબ જ મહત્વપૂર્ણ હોય છે. એ દિવસે દેવીનુ પૂજન કરી ખુચુરી અને પાએશ (ખિચડી અને ખીર)નો પ્રસાદ બનાવી સૌને વહેંચવામાં આવે છે. મહિલા, પુરૂષ અને બાળકો બધા મળીને સરસ્વતી દેવીની આરાધના કરે છે. અન્ય સમાજમાં ભણતર શરૂ કરવાનો રિવાજ છે. નાના બાળકોને પ્રથમવાર અક્ષર જ્ઞાન આપવા માટે આ દિવસ શુભ ગણવામાં આવે છે. સાહિત્ય અને લેખનથી જોડાયેલ અન્ય લોકો પણ આ દિવસે દેવી સરસ્વતીની આરાધના કરે છે.
રંગ વસંતના.. મુખ્યરૂપે પીળો રંગ આ ઋતુની વિશેષ ઓળખ છે. પરંતુ તેની સાથે નારંગી, ગુલાબી, લાલ ને અન્ય રંગ પણ ચારે તરફ છવાય જાય છે. મતલબ પીળા અને લાલ રંગના ઘણા શેડ આ ઋતુને વધુ સંદર બનાવી દે છે. પીળો રંગ પવિત્ર હોવા ઉપરાંત ઋતુના હિસાબથી પણ પ્રકૃતિ સાથે મેળ ખાય છે. વસંત રંગોની ઋતુ છે, જેના આગમનથી પ્રકૃતિ પણ મુક્ત હાથે રંગોની છટા વિખેરી દે છે.
તમે પણ ઉજવો વસંતોત્સવ - જ્યારે તમારી આજુ બાજુ જીવનના બધા જ રંગો વિખેરવામાં આવ્યા હોય અને કુદરત પોતે પણ ઉત્સવ મનાવવામાં મગ્ન હોય તો તમે તેનાથી દૂર કેવી રીતે રહી શકો છો. તમે પણ જોડાય જાવ કુદરતના કોરસમાં.. હવાના નૃત્યમાં.. અને આધ્યાત્મના હવનમાં..
ગીત ગાવ.. નાચો... સૌ સાથે હાસ્યની ક્ષણ માણો.. અને શહેરની ભીડથી દૂર એક દિવસ કોઈ ખેતરમાં જઈને વિતાવો. આટલુ શક્ય ન હોય તો ઘરની બારી પાસે ચાનો કપ લઈને બેસો.. અને લીલા પાંદડાઓ અને ફૂલોના મૌન ગપશપને સાંભળવાનો સમય કાઢો. આ ઉપરાંત રજાના દિવસે પરિવાર સાથે ઘાસ પર કે પછી ઘરના કોઈ હવાદાર સ્થળ પર બેસીને પ્રકૃતિના ગીતનો આનંદ ઉઠાવો.
યાદ રાખજો કે ઋતુ તો થોડાક જ મહિનામાં બદલાય જશે, પરંતુ દિલમાં વસેલી આ નાની નાની ખુશીઓથી ભરેલી ક્ષણ અને સોનેરી યાદો આખી જીંદગી તમારી એક અમિટ અને અણમોલ અમાનતની જેમ સાથે રહેશે.
