અમદાવાદમાં 15 જેટલી બસો પર પથ્થરમારો કરાતા બીઆરટીએસની સેવા બંધ કરવામાં આવી છે.મોટી સંખ્યામાં સારંગપુર પાણીની ટાંકી પાસે એકઠા થયેલા દલિતોએ સારંગપુર બ્રિજને જ આડશો મૂકીને બંધ કરી દીધો હતો. સતત ટ્રાફિકથી ધમધમતા રહેતા આ વિસ્તારમાં રસ્તા બંધ કરી દેવાતા વાહનોની લાંબી લાઈનો લાગી ગઈ હતી, અને લોકોને પારાવાર મુશ્કેલી વેઠવી પડી હતી.અમદાવાદના સારંગપુર વિસ્તારમાં દલિતો ઉપરાંત આદિવાસીઓએ પણ કર્યું વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન.
