આજે સવારે બાઇક પર નોકરી જઇ રહેલા બે સગાઓને બીઆરટીએસ બસે પાંજરાપોળ નજીક અડફેટે લેતા બે સગા ભાઈઓના ઘટના સ્થળે જ મોત નિપજ્યા હતા. અકસ્માતને પગલે સ્થાનિકોમાં આક્રોશ જોવા મળ્યો હતો અને બસ પર પથ્થરમારો કર્યો હતો. જ્યારે બસ સળગાવવાનો નિષ્ફળ પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો. જો કે પોલીસ ઘટનાસ્થળે પહોંચી જતા પ્રયાસ નિષ્ફળ બન્યો હતો.
મળતી માહિતી અનુસાર ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી તરફથી આવી રહેલા બે સગા ભાઈ નયનભાઈ રામ અને જયેશભાઈ રામનું પાંજરાપોળ ચાર રસ્તા પાસે બીઆરટીએસની અડફેટે ઘટનાસ્થળ પર જ મૃત્યુ થઇ ગયું હતું. પ્રત્યક્ષદર્શીઓના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર, બંને ભાઈઓ આઇઆઇએમ રોડ પર આવેલી આઇસીઆઇસીઆઇ બેંકમાં નોકરી કરતા હતા. બાઇક પર સવાર બંને ભાઇઓએ ટર્ન લેવા જતાં યુનિવર્સિટી તરફથી પુરઝડપે આવી રહેલી બીઆરટીએસે બંને ભાઈઓના બાઈકને આગળના વ્હિલમાં ચગદી નાંખ્યા હતા. ઘટનાને પગલે સ્થાનિકો દ્વારા બીઆરટીએસને પાંજરાપોળથી નહેરૂનગરની વચ્ચે રોકીને પોતાનો રોષ ઠાલવ્યો હતો. એક બીઆરટીએસ બસને પથ્થરમારીને નુકસાન પણ પહોચાડવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

સ્થાનિકો દ્વારા બસને સળગાવવાના પ્રયાસો કરાયા હતા. પરંતુ ઘટના સ્થળે પોલીસ આવી જતાં મામલો શાંત પડ્યો હતો. ઘનાટને પગલે અકસ્માત સર્જનાર બીઆરટીએસનો ડ્રાઈવર ઘટનાસ્થળેથી બસ ફરાર થઇ ગયો હતો. જમ્પ મારીને નાસી છૂટ્યો હતો.
તો આ તરફ બીજી ઘટના સુરતમાં સર્જાઇ છે. સુરતના ઉધના દક્ષેશ્વર મંદિર સામે બીઆરટીએસ રૂટમાં બાઈક ચાલકને બીઆરટીએસે અડફેટે લીધો હતો. અકસ્માતના પગલે આસપાસથી મોટી સંખ્યામાં લોકો દોડી આવ્યા હતા અને ઈજાગ્રસ્ત યુવકને તાત્કાલિક સારવાર અર્થે નજીકની હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડ્યો હતો. જોકે, અકસ્માતના પગલે રોષે ભરાયેલા લોકોએ બીઆરટીએસ બસના ડ્રાઈવરને બસમાંથી બહાર કાઢી માર માર્યો હતો. ઘટનાની જાણ થતાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં પોલીસ કાફલો ઘટના સ્થળે પહોંચી ગયો હતો. હાલ પરિસ્થિતિ પર કાબુ મેળવી લીધો છે.

અત્રે નોંધનીય છે કે ગઈકાલે સુરતના ડિંડોલી બ્રિજ પર સિટી બસની અડફેટે પિતા-પુત્ર અને ભત્રીજાનું મોત નીપજ્યું હતું. પરિવારજનો ત્રણેયના મૃતદેહોને હજુ સુધી સ્વિકારવા તૈયાર નથી. વળતરની માંગ સાથે સ્મીમેર હોસ્પિટલમાં વિરોધ નોંધાવી રહ્યા છે. સિટી બસના ડ્રાઇવરે ઓવર ટેક કરવા જતાં સામેથી આવતી બાઇકને ટક્કર મારી હતી. જેથી બાઇક પર બેસેલાં ત્રણ બાળક અને યુવક ફંગોળાયા હતા. જેમાં પિતા યશવંત પોનીકર, પુત્ર ભાવેશ અને ભત્રીજો ભુપેન્દ્રના ઘટના સ્થળે જ મોત નીપજ્યાં હતાં.
