કરજણ બંધમાંથી છોડાયેલા પાણીના પ્રવાહને લીધે રહીશોને નદી કિનારાથી દૂર રહેવા અપીલ

રાજપીપલા,બુધવાર :- કરજણ ડેમના કાર્યપાલક ઇજનેરશ્રી એસ.એમ.પટેલે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, નર્મદા જિલ્લામાં જીતગઢ ગામ નજીક આવેલ કરજણ બંધના ઉપરવાસમાં આવેલા સ્ત્રાવ વિસ્તાર સાગબારા અને દેડીયાપાડા તાલુકામાં ભારેથી અતિભારે વરસાદના કારણે ચાલુ સિઝનમાં ૯૫ ટકાથી વધુ વરસાદ આજદિન સુધીમાં નોંધાયેલ છે. આજે તા.૨૯ મી સપ્ટેમ્બર,૨૦૨૧ ના રોજ સવારના ૭:00 કલાકે કરજણ જળાશયની સપાટી ૧૧૫.૩૦ મીટરે નોંધાઇ હતી. કરજણ જળાશયમાંથી અંદાજે ૧.૬૧ લાખ ક્યુસેક પાણીના ઇન્ફલો સામે ૯ ગેટ ૩ મીટર ઉંચા ખોલીને ૧.૫૪ લાખ ક્યુસેક પાણીની જાવક કરવામાં આવી છે.

શ્રી પટેલે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે, આજે સવારે ૧૧:૦૦ કલાકે કરજણ જળાશયની સપાટી ૧૧૪.૭૫ મીટરે નોંધાવા પામી છે. જ્યારે જળાશયમાં સંગ્રહાયેલ કુલ પાણીનો જથ્થો ૯૭.૨૮ ટકા, પાણીની આવક ૨૧,૪૧૮ ક્યુસેક અને રેડીયલ ગેટ નંબર ૨,૪,૬ અને ૮ એમ કુલ ૪ ગેટ ૧.૪ મીટર ખુલ્લા રાખીને કરજણ જળાશયમાંથી ૩૧,૫૬૮ ક્યુસેક તેમજ હાઇડ્રોપાવર સ્ટેશનથી ૩૫૦ ક્યુસેક સહિત કુલ ૩૧,૯૧૮ ક્યુસેક પાણીનું રૂલ લેવલ ૧૧૪.૯૫ મીટર જાળવવા સારૂ છોડવામાં આવી રહેલ છે.

વધુમાં કરજણ બંધના ૨ પેનસ્ટોક આધારિત સ્મોલ હાઈડ્રોપાવર સ્ટેશન ૩ મેગાવોટની ક્ષમતા ધરાવે છે. આ હાઈડ્રોપાવર વર્ષ ૨૦૧૧ થી કાર્યરત છે. કરજણ જળાશયમાંથી સરેરાશ ૩૫૦ ક્યુસેક ડિસ્ચાર્જ પાણીના પ્રવાહના જાવકથી પ્રતિ દિન ૭૨ હજાર યુનિટ વિજ ઉત્પાદનની કામગીરી હાલ પ્રગતિ હેઠળ હોવાની સાથે ચાલુ વર્ષે અંદાજે ૧૦ થી વધુ વખત ઓપરેશન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.

કરજણ બંધમાંથી છોડવામાં આવતા આ પાણી પ્રવાહને લીધે નિચવાસમાં આવેલ કરજણ નદીના કાંઠાના રાજપીપલા શહેર સહિતના સંબંધિત ગામો ભદામ, ભચરવાડા, હજરપરા, ધાનપોર અને ધમણાછાના લોકો/રહીશોને નદી કિનારાથી દૂર રહેવા અને પશુધનને દૂર રાખવા સાવચેત રહેવા જણાવાયેલ છે, તેમ પણ શ્રી પટેલે વધુમાં જાણકારી આપતા ઉમેર્યું હતું.
