‘ગોળકેરી’ એ કોમેડી-ડ્રામા ફિલ્મ છે જેનું દિગ્દર્શન વિરલ શાહે કર્યું છે. સોલસૂત્ર નિર્મિત આ ફિલ્મમાં માનસી પારેખ અને મલ્હાર ઠક્કર મુખ્ય ભૂમિકામાં છે. સચિન ખેડેકર અને વંદના પાઠક મલ્હારના માતા-પિતાની ભૂમિકા ભજવતા જોવા મળશે.
ત્રણ અત્યંત પ્રતિભાશાળી અને જાણીતા કલાકારો માનસી પારેખ, વંદના પાઠક અને સચિન ખેડેકર ગોળકેરી ફિલ્મ સાથે ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રીમાં ડેબ્યુ કરી રહ્યા છે.
આ ફિલ્મમાં એક રાત્રિ દરમિયાન આ ચાર પાત્રોની યાત્રા નિરૂપવામાં આવી છે. સાહિલ (મલ્હાર ઠક્કર) અને હર્ષિતા (માનસી પારેખ ગોહિલ), રાતોરાત તેમના બે વર્ષના આત્મીય સંબંધ પર પૂર્ણવિરામ મૂકી દે છે. પણ, તેઓ એકબીજાથી દૂર જવાનો જેટલો પ્રયાસ કરે છે, એટલા જ તેઓ વિચિત્ર પરિસ્થિતિમાં અટવાય છે. આ પરિસ્થિતિ નિર્માણ કરે છે તેમના માતાપિતા, જેમનું લક્ષ્ય છે આ બંનેને એક કરવાનું.

દિગ્દર્શક વિરલ શાહ ફ્રેશ દૃષ્ટિકોણ સાથે વાર્તાને નિરૂપે છે. તેઓ કહે છે,‘આ મૂવી પ્રેક્ષકોને ફિલ-ગૂડ અનુભવ કરાવશે. હું ભાગ્યશાળી છું કે મને આવા તેજસ્વી કલાકારો સાથે કામ કરવાની તક મળી. રસપ્રદ વાત એ છે કે તેમાંથી ત્રણ કલાકાર પહેલીવાર ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મમાં ડેબ્યૂ કરી રહ્યા છે.માનસી અને પાર્થિવ ગોહિલે આ ફિલ્મનું નિર્માણ કર્યું છે. મને ખૂબ જ આનંદ છે કે સંબંધનો મહિમા દર્શાવતી આ ફિલ્મ પ્રસ્તુત થઈ રહી છે.
માનસી પારેખ ગોહિલે ઉમેર્યું, ‘એક અભિનેતા અને નિર્માતા તરીકેની બેવડી જવાબદારી ખૂબ જ મોટી છે. નિર્માતા તરીકે શરૂઆતથી અંત સુધીની પ્રક્રિયાએ મને ભીતરથી સમૃદ્ધ કરી છે.’
આ ફિલ્મની રજૂઆત સુધી કેટલાક પ્રશ્નોનો ઉત્તર મેળવવા ઉત્સુકતા જાળવી રાખવી પડશે. શું માતાપિતાની ચિંતા સંતાનોની અંગત સીમા પાર કરી તેમના જીવનમાં દખલ દેશે? શું તેઓ પોતાના સંતાનોને સમજાવવામાં સફળની વડશે? આ ફિલ્મ શીખવાડે છે કે સંબંધ ગોળકેરી જેવો ખટમીઠો હોય છે, જે સમય સાથે વધારે સ્વાદિષ્ટ થતો જાય.
આ ફિલ્મમાં એક વિશેષ ગીતનો સમાવેશ કરાયો છે જેમાં મિકા સિંહે ગુજરાતીમાં પહેલી વાર ગીત કંપોઝ કર્યું છે. ‘સોણી ગુજરાતની’ ગીતમાં મિકાની સાથે પાર્થિવ ગોહિલે પોતાનો કંઠ આપ્યો છે. કોકોનટ પિક્ચર્સના વિતરણમાં, ઝેન મ્યુઝિક-ગુજરાતીની સંગીત પ્રસ્તુતિમાં,અમાત્ય-વિરલ શાહ લિખિત‘ગોળકેરી’ફિલ્મ ભારતમાં ૨૮ ફેબ્રુઆરીએ રિલીઝ થઈ રહી છે.
