Children's Day Greetings

હુ નથી જતી જોવા તેની ઉત્તરવહી

એ માટે નહી કે મને ફરિયાદ છે તેના માટે

પણ કદાચ એ માટે.. કે ખૂબ જ દર્દનાક લાગે છે શાળા મને

અને કાંપી જાઉ છુ શાળાના દાદરા ઉતરતી વખતે

હાથમાં કાગળના ટુકડા લઈને

સાથે કોઈ બાળકને ઢસેડતા ગુનેગારની જેમ

તેના માર્કસ પૂછતા કોઈ મમ્મી-પપ્પાને

કેટલા આવ્યા મેથ્સમા ? અને કેટલા સાયંસમાં ?

સાંભળી-સાંભળીને લાગે છે

ત્રણ નંબર કપાય ગયા જે એ જ હતુ સર્વસ્વ
