વડોદરા શહેર અને જિલ્લામાં કોરોના વાઈરસના કુલ પોઝિટિવ દર્દીઓનો આંક 500 દર્દીઓ પર પહોંચી ગયો છે અને મૃત્યુઆંકનો 31 ઉપર પહોંચ્યો છે. વડોદરાના કમિશ્નર અનુપમસિંહ ગેહલોતે રજુ કરેલી રિપોર્ટ મુજબ વડોદરા શહેરમાં કોરોનાની હાલની પરિસ્થિતિ અને ભવિષ્યની સંભવિત સ્થિતિને ધ્યાનમાં રાખી લોકોને શાકભાજી સહિતની જીવનજરૂરી ચીજવસ્તુ મળી રહે તેમજ સોશિયલ ડિસ્ટન્સિંગ સહિતના સુરક્ષિત પગલા પણ લેવાય તે માટે વહીવટીતંત્રે ચાર મહત્વના નિર્ણય કર્યાં શાકભાજીના ફેરિયાઓને સુપર સ્પ્રેડર ગણવામાં આવે છે ત્યારે 2500 જેટલા શાકભાજીવાળાઓએ આગામી ત્રણ દિવસમા તેમના નજીકના અર્બન હેલ્થ સેન્ટરમાં બપોરના સમયે જઇને પ્રો એકટીવ સ્ક્રિનિંગ કરાવવાનું રહેશે અને જરૂર પડે તો સેમ્પલ પણ આપવાનું રહેશે.આ સ્ક્રીંનિંગ દરમ્યાન ડાયાબિટિશ, હાઇપરટેન્શન, કિડનીની બીમારી, શ્વાસની બીમારી મળી આવશે તો તેમને હાઇરિસ્ક ગણીને તેમની તેમજ 65 વર્ષથી વધુ વયના લોકોની શાકભાજી વેચાણની પરવાનગી રદ કરીને હોમ ક્વોરન્ટીન કરવામાં આવશે. બીજુ, શાકભાજીવાળાના હેલ્થ કાર્ડ આ સેન્ટર ખાતે રાખવામાં આવશે અને જે શાકભાજીવાળા ત્રણ ત્રણ દિવસના સમયાંતરે હેલ્થ સેન્ટરમાં આવીને નિયમિત સ્ક્રિનિંગ નહીં કરાવે તેમની પરવાનગી પણ આપોઆપ રદ કરી દેવામાં આવશે.
