છ ફૂટ લાંબા સંદીપ સિંહ ફતેહગઢ સાહિબથી વીસ લોકો સાથે પ્રદર્શનમાં સામેલ થવા આવ્યા છે. વીસ લોકોનું જૂથ બે ટ્રૉલીમાં આવ્યું છે.
તેમના સમૂહમાંથી ચાર લોકો પરત ગામ જઈ રહ્યા છે અને તેમના બદલે આઠ લોકો આવી રહ્યા છે.
સંદીપ કહે છે, "મારી ત્રણ એકર ઘઉંની રોપણી રહી ગઈ હતી. મારા ગામના લોકોએ એ કામ કરી નાખ્યું છે." તેઓએ કહ્યું કે અમે અહીં અડગ રહીએ, અમારી ખેતીનું બધું કામ થતું રહેશે.
સંદીપ જેવા હજારો ખેડૂતોએ રાષ્ટ્રીય રાજધાની દિલ્હીને હરિયાણા સાથે જોડતી સરહદે ડેરો નાખ્યો છે. તેઓ ટ્રૉલીઓ અને ટ્રકોમાં આવ્યા છે અને રસ્તા પર બેસી ગયા છે.
તેઓ અહીં ખાવાનું બનાવે છે, ખાય છે અને સૂઈ જાય છે. આ ખેડૂતો કેન્દ્ર સરકારના ત્રણ કૃષિકાયદાનો વિરોધ કરી રહ્યા છે. આ કાયદાઓથી કૃષિક્ષેત્રમાં ખાનગી સેક્ટર માટે રસ્તો ખૂલશે.
સરકારનો તર્ક છે કે આ કાયદો ખેડૂતોના હિતમાં છે અને તેનાથી તેમની આવક વધશે, જ્યારે ખેડૂતોનું માનવું છે કે આ સરકારનો તેમની જમની કબજે કરવાના પ્લાનનો હિસ્સો છે.
ખેડૂતોના આ આંદોલનને લઈને સવાલ થઈ રહ્યા છે કે તેમાં ફંડ ક્યાંથી આવી રહ્યું છે.
સંદીપ અને તેમની જેવા લોકો સાથે અમે વાત કરી. તેમનું કહેવું છે કે અહીં આવવા માટે તેઓે પૈસા ભેગા કર્યા છે.
સંદીપ કહે છે, "અમે જે ટ્રેક્ટરમાં આવ્યા છીએ તે વધુ ઈંધણ ખાય છે. આવવા-જવામાં જ દસ હજારનું ડીઝલ ખર્ચ થઈ જશે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં મારા અને મારા કાકાના દસ હજાર રૂપિયા ખર્ચાઈ ગયા છે."
જોકે સંદીપને આ પૈસાનો કોઈ અફસોસ નથી, પણ તેમને લાગે છે કે તેમના આ પૈસા તેમના ભવિષ્ય માટે વપરાઈ રહ્યા છે.
તેઓ કહે છે, "હજુ તો અમારા માત્ર દસ હજાર જ ખર્ચ થયા છે, પણ જો કાયદો લાગુ થઈ જશે તો અમને થનારા નુકસાનનો કોઈ અંદાજ પણ ન લગાવી શકે."
નૃપેન્દ્ર સિંહ પોતાના જૂથ સાથે લુધિયાણા જિલ્લાથી આવ્યા છે. તેમની સાથે આસપાસનાં ત્રણ ગામના લોકો છે. નૃપેન્દ્ર સિંહના જૂથે પણ અહીં પહોંચવા માટે ફાળો એકત્ર કર્યો છે.
તેઓ કહે છે, "અમે જાતે પૈસા ભેગા કર્યા છે, ગામલોકોએ પણ બહુ મદદ કરી છે. હું એકલો જ અત્યાર સુધીમાં વીસ હજાર રૂપિયા ખર્ચ કરી ચૂક્યો છું. સાથે આવેલા બાકીના લોકો પણ તેમની રીતે સહયોગ કરી રહ્યા છે."

'એનઆરઆઈ કરે છે મદદ'
નૃપેન્દ્ર અનુસાર વિદેશમાં રહેતા તેમના એક મિત્ર એનઆરઆઈએ મદદ મોકલી છે.
તેઓ કહે છે, "મારા એક એનઆરઆઈ મિત્રે ખાતામાં વીસ હજાર રૂપિયા નાખ્યા છે અને કહ્યું કે આગળ પણ જરૂર પડે તો મોકલશે. તેણે કહ્યું કે એ પોતાના મિત્રો પાસેથી પણ પૈસા ભેગા કરીને મોકલશે. અમારા આંદોલનમાં પૈસાની કમી નહીં આવે."

પ્રદર્શનમાં સામેલ ઘણા લોકો સાથે અમે વાત કરી, તેમનું કહેવું હતું કે તેમના એનઆરઆઈ મિત્રો આંદોલન અંગે જાણકારી મેળવી રહ્યા છે અને પૈસાની મદદ મોકલી રહ્યા છે.
નૃપેન્દ્ર કહે છે, "મારા એનઆરઆઈ વીરેનું કહેવું છે કે પાછળ ખસવું નથી, અડગ રહેવું છે, ફંડની કમી નહીં આવે."
તેઓ કહે છે, "અમે ખેડૂતો એટલા ગરીબ નથી કે પોતાનું આંદોલન ન ચલાવી શકીએ. અહીં લંગર ચાલી રહ્યાં છે, જે અમે સદીઓથી ચલાવી રહ્યા છીએ. મળીને ખાવું એ અમારી સંસ્કૃતિ છે. આ આંદોલનમાં કોઈ પ્રકારની કમી નહીં આવે."
રાજકોટ આગની ઘટના અંગે સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટની ગુજરાત સરકારને ફટકાર, કહ્યું, 'તથ્યો દબાવવાં ન જોઈએ'
સિંધુ બૉર્ડર પર હરિયાણા અને પંજાબથી આવેલાં હજારો ટ્રેક્ટર અને ટ્રૉલીઓ છે અને દિવસેદિવસે આ સંખ્યા વધી રહી છે.
ટ્રૉલીઓમાં ખાવા-પીવાનો સામાન ભરેલો છે અને ખેડૂતોને રહેવા અને સૂવાની વ્યવસ્થા છે.
અહીં દિવસભર ચૂલા સળગે છે અને કંઈક ને કંઈક બનતું રહે છે. દિલ્હીનાં ઘણાં ગુરુદ્વારાઓએ પણ અહીં લંગર લગાવ્યાં છે, આ સાથે દિલ્હીના શીખ પરિવારો પણ અહીં આવીને લોકોને ખવડાવી રહ્યા છે.
ઇંદરજિત સિંહ પણ પોતાનાં ટ્રેક્ટર-ટ્રૉલી લઈને પ્રદર્શનમાં પહોંચ્યા છે. તેમની સાથે આવેલા લોકોએ પણ મળીને ફંડ ઉઘરાવ્યું છે.
તેઓ કહે છે, "ટ્રેક્ટર મારું છે, મેં ઈંધણ નાખ્યું છે. અમે પંદર લોકો છીએ, બધાએ પૈસા એકત્ર કર્યા છે. દરેક ખેડૂતે પોતાની શક્તિ પ્રમાણે પૈસા જમા કરાવ્યા છે. જેની પાસે જમીન વધુ છે, એ વધુ પૈસા આપ્યા છે."
ઇંદરજિત કહે છે, "અમે ઘરેથી નીકળતાં પહેલાં નક્કી કરીને આવ્યા છીએ કે જ્યાં સુધી આંદોલન ચાલશે, પરત નહીં આવીએ. કોઈ ચીજની જરૂર પડે તો પાછળથી આવી જાય છે. અમારા અને આસપાસનાં ગામલોકો આવી રહ્યા છે. તેઓ સામાન લઈને આવે છે."
એ સવાલ પુછાઈ રહ્યો છે કે આંદોલનમાં ફંડ ક્યાંથી આવે છે. રાજકીય પાર્ટીઓએ પણ ફંડ આપ્યું હોવાના સવાલ ઊઠ્યા છે.
આ સવાલ પર ઇંદરજિત અને તેમની સાથે આવેલા લોકો કહે છે, "જો લોકો એમ કહે છે કે આ આંદોલનને પાર્ટીઓથી ફંડ મળી રહ્યું છે, તેઓ તેનો પુરાવો રજૂ કરે. અમારા ગામમાંથી એ લોકો પણ પૈસા આપી રહ્યા છે, જેઓ અહીં આવ્યા નથી. કેટલાક લોકોએ તો સો-સો રૂપિયા પણ આપ્યા છે."
મનદીપ સિંહ હોશિયારપુરથી આવ્યા છે. તેઓ આસપાસનાં ગામના ખેડૂતોના જૂથ સાથે આવ્યા છે. આ લોકો બે ટ્રેક્ટર-ટ્રૉલી અને એક ઇનોવા કારથી આવ્યા છે.
તેઓ કહે છે, "મેં 2100 રૂપિયા આપ્યા છે, અમે બધાએ ફંડ એકત્ર કર્યું છે. અમે અહીં રહેવા, રોકાવા માટે કોઈ પર નિર્ભર નથી."
મનદીપ સિંહને લાગ્યું હતું કે તેઓ ચાર-પાંચ દિવસમાં પરત ફરશે, પણ હવે તેમને લાગે છે કે આંદોલન લાંબું ચાલશે અને તેઓ અહીં ટકી રહેશે.
મનદીપ કહે છે, "હવે લાગે છે કે અહીં મહિનાઓ સુધી રહેવું પડી શકે છે. પણ અમને કોઈ ચિંતા નથી, જે ચીજની જરૂર પડશે, અમારા ગામલોકો પહોંચાડતા રહેશે."
મનદીપને ઘઉં વાવવાના હતા. તેઓ કહે છે, "ગામલોકો કહી રહ્યા છે કે તેઓ જ અમારા ઘઉં વાવી દેશે. જો હું પરત જઈશ તો મારી જગ્યાએ બે લોકો આવી જશે. અમે લોકો સમજીએ છીએ કે અમે એક બહુ મોટું કામ કરી રહ્યા છીએ. જો આ કામ પૂરું ન થયું તો અમારો આખો વંશ બરબાદ થઈ જશે. આ કોઈ એકની લડાઈ નથી, આ અમારા બધાનાં ભવિષ્યનો સવાલ છે."
પંજાબનાં ત્રીસથી વધુ ખેડૂત સંગઠનોએ આ આંદોલન ઊભું કર્યું છે. સંગઠન સાથે જોડાયેલા નેતા કહે છે કે તેઓ છેલ્લા ચાર મહિનાથી આના માટે સ્થાનિકસ્તરે કામ કરતા હતા.
કીર્તિ કિસાન યુનિયન સાથે જોડાયેલા યુવાખેડૂત નેતા રાજિન્દર સિંહ દીપસિંહવાલા કહે છે, "અમારું સંગઠન અત્યાર સુધીમાં આ આંદોલન પર 15 લાખ રૂપિયા ખર્ચ કરી ચૂક્યું છે અને 15 લાખનું ફંડ હજુ પણ અમારી પાસે છે. જો બધાં સંગઠનોની વાત કરીએ તો અત્યાર સુધીમાં અંદાજે 15 કરોડ રૂપિયા આ આંદોલન પર ખર્ચાઈ ગયા છે."
રાજિન્દર સિંહ કહે છે આ આંદોલનમાં એનઆરઆઈ પણ આગળ આવીને ભાગ મોકલી રહ્યા છે અને તેઓ ફંડ મોકલવાની વાત કરી રહ્યા છે.
તેઓ કહે છે, "જ્યાં સુધી ફંડનો સવાલ છે, પંજાબના ખેડૂતો પોતાની લડાઈ લડવા સક્ષમ છે. પણ આ માત્ર ખેડૂતોનો જ સવાલ નથી. આ કાયદાથી મજૂર અને ગ્રાહકોને પણ અસર થશે. જેમજેમ આંદોલન ચાલશે, સામાન્ય લોકો અને મજૂરો પણ જોડાતા જશે."
આ આંદોલન સાથે જોડાયેલાં સંગઠનોએ ફંડ એકત્ર કરવા માટે ગામથી લઈને જિલ્લાસ્તરે સમિતિઓ બનાવી છે અને આવતાં પૈસાનો પૂરો હિસાબ રખાઈ રહ્યો છે.
રાજિન્દર સિંહ કહે છે, "અમે એક-એક પૈસાનો હિસાબ રાખી રહ્યા છીએ. જે લોકો ઇચ્છે તે યુનિયનમાં આવીને જોઈ શકે છે."
માત્ર પૈસાનો જ નહીં, પણ યુનિયનના નેતા આંદોલનમાં આવતાં લોકોનો પણ હિસાબ રાખી રહ્યા છે.
એક થિયેટર ગ્રૂપ સાથે જોડાયેલા યુવાઓ પણ ફાળો ઉઘરાવીને આંદોલનમાં સામેલ થવા પહોંચ્યા છે.
આ ગ્રૂપમાં સામેલ એક યુવાનું કહેવું છે, "બહુ સ્વાભાવિક છે કે જે પંજાબ આખા દેશનું પેટ ભરે છે, એ ખુદ ભૂખ્યું નહીં મરે. અમે બધા પોતાની વ્યવસ્થા કરીને આવ્યા છીએ. ગામેગામમાં ખેડૂત સંગઠનોની સમિતિઓ છે, અમે બધાએ ફાળો એકત્ર કર્યો છે."
"ટ્રૉલીમાં ભલે એક ગામના પાંચ લોકો આવ્યા હોય, પણ આખા ગામે પૈસા ભેગા કર્યા છે. અમે અમારી ઈમાનદારીના પૈસાથી આ આંદોલન ચલાવી રહ્યા છીએ."
સાંજ થતા સુધીમાં પંજાબ તરફથી આવેલાં અનેક નવાં વાહનો પ્રદર્શનમાં પહોંચ્યાં. તેમાં રોટલી બનાવવાનાં મશીન ઊતરી રહ્યાં હતાં.
એ તરફ ઇશારો કરતાં એક ખેડૂત કહે છે, "જરૂર પડશે તો અમે પંજાબી આખી દિલ્હીને ખાવાનું ખવડાવીને જઈશું."
