आमतौर पर महिलाएं अपने आपको हमेशा अनदेखा करके रखती है। परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों की ज़रूरतों, उनकी सेहत, पारिवारिक और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारियों को निभाते-निभाते वे अक्सर खुद को सबसे अंत में रखती है या यूं कहें, कि खुद पर कभी ध्यान ही नहीं देती।
ज़रा गौर से सोचे और हमेशा इस बात को ध्यान में रखें, कि सामाजिक और पारिवारिक नियम-कायदों-परंपराओं के बोझ तले, अगर आपका शरीर या मन ही स्वस्थ नहीं रहेगा, तो आपको लोगों या रिश्तों पर बोझ बनते देर नहीं लगेगी और हो सकता है आपके सबसे करीबी रिश्ते ही फिर आपके लिए ज़हर साबित होने लगें।
हमेशा ध्यान रखें, कि पहला सुख निरोगी काया,
जिसने की इसकी अनदेखी, वो उम्र भर पछताया...
साथ ही स्वस्थ शरीर से ही मन भी स्वस्थ, प्रसन्न, संतुलित और संतुष्ट रहता है, जिससे जीवन बेहतर होता है।
इसलिए आज महिला दिवस के मौके पर बड़ी-बड़ी बातें, गंभीर विचारों, महिला पुरुष तुलना या समानता अथवा महानता की कहानियों अथवा उपलब्धियों की बजाए मैं कुछ छोटी-छोटी बातों पर आप सबका ध्यान दिलाना चाहती हूं।
मेरा उद्देश्य है कि आधिकारिक महिलाओं तक ये बातें पहुंचे, जिससे परिवार की धुरी कही जाने वाली और सबसे मजबूत कड़ी के तौर पर हमेशा पूरे परिवार को सेहतमंद, समृद्ध और खुश रखनेवाली महिलाएं भी स्वस्थ जीवन जी सकें। ऐसी कुछ बातें, जिन पर अगर समय रहते ध्यान दिया जाए, तो आप परिवार की धुरी ही बनी रहेगी, ना कि अपने आपको अपने परिवार, प्रियजनों, दोस्तों या बाकी किसी पर बोझ के रुप में देखेंगे या महसूस करेंगी...
1. अगर आप गृहिणी हैं या कामकाजी महिला, हमेशा इस बात को गांठ बांधकर रख लें, कि आप सुपर वूमैन नहीं हैं और घर के सारे काम एक साथ या एक बार में ही खत्म नहीं कर सकती हैं, क्योंकि गृहस्थी चलाना एक अंतहीन प्रक्रिया हैं। जिन महिलाओं ने गृहस्थी का पूरा भार खुद पर ओढ़ने या अकेले सबकुछ चलाने या संभालने की कोशिश की है, वे या तो समय से पहले बीमार हो गई या जल्दी ही दुनिया से अलविदा हो गईं। यकीन ना हो, तो अपने आसपास या नज़दीकी रिश्तों में, अपनी बुजुर्ग महिलाओं अथवा सहेलियों पर ही नज़र दौड़ाकर देख लें।
2. काम के बीच में अपने आराम के लिए भी थोड़ा समय ज़रुर निकालें और ऐसा करते समय ये विचार दिमाग में भूलकर भी ना लाएं, कि आप कोई पाप या कुछ गलत कर रही हैं, क्योंकि खुद में खुश और सेहतमंद व्यक्ति ही किसी दूसरे का सही तरह से ख़्याल रख सकता है। आप चाहें तो थोड़ी देर पैर फैलाकर सोफे, बिस्तर या फर्श पर बैंठ सकती हैं। मत भूलिए, कि आप भी इंसान है और उसी घर की एक सदस्य भी।
3. अगर कभी मन करे, तो साफ-सुथरे घर में अकेले होने पर भी मूंगफली, हरे बूट या छोड़, भुट्टे, मक्के, हरे चने या भुने हुए चने के दाने, होरा या भुना छोलिया खाने से खुद को रोके नहीं। तब ये भी ना सोचे, कि कचरा फैलने से मेरा ही काम बढ़ जाएगा। रोज सबके लिए साफ करती है आज अपना फैलाया समेट लीजिएगा। साथ ही खाली वक्त में अपने मनपसंद गीत, कविताएं, शायरियां, गज़लें या फिल्मी गीत ही गुनगुनाएं या सुन लें, या चाहें तो अपनी मनपसंद किताब भी पढ़ सकती हैं। आप किसी ही बेटी, बहन, पत्नी, बहू या मां अथवा सास होने से पहले एक इंसान हैं और इस बात को हमेशा ध्यान में रखें।
4. घर के काम करते हुए अगर सिर या बदन में दर्द हो जाए, या बहुत थकान महसूस हो रही हो, तो थोड़ी देर के लिए आराम करने या एक झपकी लेने में कोई बुराई नहीं है। यकीन मानिए, जैसे ही आपका सिरदर्द, थकान कम या दूर हो जाएगी, आप नई ताज़गी, उत्साह, ऊर्जा और जोश के साथ पहले से अधिक बेहतर तरह से समस्त काम और जिम्मेदारियां निभा पाएंगी।
5. सोने के लिए कभी कभार नींद या थकान दूर करने के लिए पेन किलर यानी दर्द निवारक दवाइयां लेने में संकोच ना करें। हालांकि दवाइयों से हमेशा दूरी ही भली होती है लेकिन कोई भी दवा लंबे समय या अधिक मात्रा में लेने पर बुरा असर डालती है, लेकिन अगर जब कभी बहुत अधिक दर्द या थकान महसूस हो, तो एकाध बार इन्हें लेने में कोई बुराई नहीं है। बस हमेशा या बेवजह इनकी आदत नहीं डालना चाहिए।

6. कुछ समय प्रकृति के सानिध्य में भी गुजरे, तो आपके मन को सुकून और शांति मिलेगी। किसी पार्क या गार्डन में कुछ देर को आराम से बैठें। हरियाली, खेलते हुए बच्चों, आराम फरमाते या चहलकदमी करते बुजुर्गों को देंखे, महिलाओं अथवा पुरुषों के समूह गपशप, हंसी ठिठोली करते अथवा ठहाके लगाते दिखे, तो उनकी कोई अच्छी बात अगर आपके कानों में पड़ जाए, तो मुस्कुराने में हिचकिचाएं नहीं। हो सकता है वो अनजाने में आपके जीवन से जुड़ी हो और आपको एक नया नज़रिया या अच्छी सीख दे जाए।
7. अगर पार्क या गार्डन में और कुछ ना मिले या दिखे, तो भी कुछ मत सोचो, बस कुछ देर लंबी और गहरी सांसें ले और आसपास मौजूद हरियाली, पेड़-पौधों, तितलियों, फूल-पत्तियों, उनके विविध रंग, बनावट और संरचना देखें, ताकि आप इस एहसास को महसूस कर सकें, कि ईश्वर कितना अद्भुत कारीगर है जो सिर्फ महिलाओं के गर्भ में एक बच्चे के रूप में अद्भुत और अद्वितीय रचना ही नहीं करता, बल्कि प्रकृति में भी उसने इतना अद्भुत, अद्वितीय एवं अनुपम सौंदर्य और विविधता से ओत-प्रोत रचनात्मकता और खूबसूरत रंग बिखेरें हैं कि आपका सारा तनाव अथवा मन या जिम्मेदारियों का भार कुछ देर के लिए आपके भीतर से हट जाएगा और आपके मन को सुकून, शांति और खुशी का अनुभव होगा।
8. कभी-कभी अपने बैडरुम या बाथरुम में लगे दर्पण के सामने खड़े होकर कुछ देर अपने आपको भी निहारिए। बिना वजह घर पर खुद को सजाकर और संवारकर रहने की आदत अपना लें। बस अपने लिए, अपने खुद के लिए स्वयं पर ध्यान दीजिए, क्योंकि आप अपने लिए सबसे ख़ास और महत्वपूर्ण हैं। अक्सर महिलाए सिर्फ़ तब सलीके से खुद को सजाती संवारती है जब किसी पार्टी में जाना होता है या किसी को घर में आना होता है अथवा आस-पड़ोस या सोसाइटी में लोगों का सामना करना होता है। मन करे, तो आईने के सामने खुद को देखते हुए थोड़ा मुस्कुराएं ज़रुर, या खुलकर हंसे, खुद को बहुत प्यार से निहारें या फिर कुछ गुनगुनाकर डांस ही कर लें। ऐसा करने से आप अपने से प्यार और खुद में अपने प्रति सम्मान जगा पाएंगी। हमेशा इस बात को ध्यान में रखें, कि अगर माली ही अपने उद्यान को नहीं सजाएगा, संवारेगा, तो भला कोई और उसकी परवाह क्यों करेगा।
9. किसी दिन अगर समय मिले ख़ासकर जब कभी, सहेली, दोस्त, भाई बहिनों, भाभी, ननद या पतिदेव से तीखी नोंक झोंक, बहस या झगड़ा हो गया हो, तो अपनी सुनहरी यादों का पिटारा यानि पुराने एल्बम खोलकर देख लें। उन पलों और उनसे जुड़ी सुनहरे एहसासों की हंसी ठिठोली अपने आप आपके चेहरे पर मुस्कान बिखेर देगी। तब वर्तमान या अतीत की बुरी बातों या यादों को मन की दीवार पर फैले मकड़ी के गंदे जालों की तरह झाड़ कर बाहर फेंक दें। आपके रिश्ते उनसे बेहतर भले हो ना हों, लेकिन आपका मन हल्का हो जाएगा।
10. यदि मन करे, तो कभी- कभी अपने लिए भी बाहर से कोई स्पेशल डिश या नाश्ता अथवा पकवान ऑर्डर कर घर बैठे उसका आनंद लेने में बिल्कुल संकोच ना करें, ना ही किसी तरह का अपराध बोध महसूस करें। कभी-कभी अपने लिए अपने मन का कुछ कर लेने में कोई बुराई, गलती या कोई पाप नहीं होता है। अगर पति या बच्चे बाहर गए हैं, तो अक्सर महिलाएं खुद के लिए सही तरह से खाना तक नहीं बनाती और कुछ भी खा लेती है कि चलो आज तो रसोई से छुट्टी मिली।
अगर खाने में सुबह या शाम का खाना कुछ बच जाए, तो उसे अलग करने या सबके साथ मिल बांट कर खाने की बजाय अपने डस्टबिन रुपी पेट में ही उड़ेलती चली जाती हैं और एक दो दिन नहीं, बल्कि सालों तलक, जब तक कि वो उनकी आदत नहीं बन जाती। ऐसा करने से बचें, क्योंकि ऐसा करके आप अनाज का अपमान नहीं बल्कि खुद आगे होकर बीमारियों को न्योता दे रही हैं।

11. घर में काम ज्यादा हो, तो घर में ऐसी मशीनें, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक आइटम्स या होम अप्लाइसिंस लाएं, जिनसे कुछ काम आसान हो जाए, ना कि बस दिखावे के लिए इन सबकी दुकान सजा लें। अगर जरूरत लगे, तो किसी कामवाली बाई की मदद भी लेने में भी कोई बुराई नहीं है। हां, बस हो सके, तो रसोई में खाना बनाना और परोसना अपने हाथ में ही रखें या अपनी निगरानी में ही कामवाली से करवाएं। अगर कभी कामवाली ख़ासकर रसोई वाली बाई किसी दुख या मुसीबत में नज़र आए, तो उस दिन उसे आराम देते हुए छुट्टी देने में हिचक ना दिखाएं। ये इसलिए जरूरी होता है कि जैसा खावें अन्न, वैसा होवे मन।
12. अगर आपकी तबीयत ठीक नहीं है और आप बीमार हैं तो बिना वजह इसे ना छुपाए या अनदेखा न करें। हो सके, तो सही खानपान और आराम में कोई लापरवाही ना बरतें। अगर जरूरी लगे, तो डॉक्टर को दिखाने या किसी से मदद लेने में संकोच न करें। बीमारी को अनदेखा करने या सही समय पर इलाज मिल जाने पर बीमारी गंभीर रूप धारण नहीं कर पाएगी। हमेशा इस बात को ध्यान नें रखें, कि अगर परिवार की सेहत आपके लिए पहली प्राथमिकता है तो सबसे पहले खुद ऑक्सीजन मास्क बहनें, फिर दूसरे को बचा पाएंगी अथवा सबकी सही तरह से देखरेख कर पाएंगी।
13. समय-समय पर अपना मेडिकली बॉडी प्रोफाइल चेक अप और कुछ जरूरी जांचें करवाते रहें। खासकर एक उम्र के बाद सीबीसी, ईसीजी, ब्लड प्रेशर, शुगर, पेट, ओवरी, यूट्रस, किडनी, हार्ट, आर ए फैक्टर, विटामिन डी, कैल्शियम, आयरन, थायराइड जैसी जरूरी जांचें नियमित तौर पर सालाना करवाने का नियम ही बना लें। इससे कोई बीमारी होने से पहले ही पता चल जाएगा है और परेशानी गंभीर रूप नहीं ले पाएगी।
14. इस बात को हमेशा ध्यान में रखें, कि आप अपने परिवार के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं, भले ही कोई आपको ये किसी प्रकार जताए या बताए नहीं, लेकिन इससे आपकी महत्ता या सेहत किसी भी कीमत पर प्रभावित नहीं होने देना चाहिए, वरना आपके रोग की चपेट में आने पर अथवा आपकी अनुपस्थिति में आपका परिवार और आपके प्रियजन ही सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हो सकते हैं।
15. देर से सोना, जल्दी उठना या दिन भर काम में लगे रहना, ये ज्यादातर महिलाओं की विशेषता या आदत होती है जबकि विज्ञान के मुताबिक भी पुरुषों की अपेक्षा महिलाओं को ज्यादा समय तक सोने या आराम की जरूरत होती है।
इसलिए परिवार की धुरी होने के बावजूद सभी जिम्मेदारियों और दायित्वों को निभाने के साथ ही साथ अपना पूरा ध्यान रखना भी आपकी ही जिम्मेदारी भी है आवश्यक भी है और अनिवार्य भी।
16. कभी भी अपने आपको किसी भी प्रकार से कमजोर, कमतर या असहाय ना मानें। इस बात को हमेशा ध्यान में रखें, कि जिंदगी के किसी भी मोड़ पर चाहे आपका परिवार, आपके परिचित, दोस्त, बॉस, सहकर्मी य कोई भी अन्य रिश्ता आपको समझने या आपका साथ दे पाने की स्थिति में ना भी रहें, तब भी अपने आपको कभी हीन, असहाय या कमजोर ना पड़ने दें। हमेशा अपने आप पर और कुदरत पर भरोसा बनाए रखें, और कभी अगर किसी कारणवश या परिस्थितिवश आप कमजोर पड़ने लगें, तो हमेशा खुद को याद दिलाती रहें, कि
