'શિક્ષક દિવસ' કેવો હોવો જોઈએ !

શિક્ષક એક એવી વ્યક્તિ છે જેમના હાથે આપણા આ કિમતી જીવનનું ઘડતર નક્કી થાય છે. કહેવાય છે કે શિક્ષક આપણા વ્યક્તિત્વના ચણતરનો પાયો છે, જેની વાતો સાંભળી, તેમના વિચારોને અને તેમની શિક્ષાને જીવનમાં ઉતારીએતો આ જીંદગીરૂપી ઈમારતનું ચણતર પાકું થાય અને આનો લાભ એ થાય કે જીવનમાં કેટલાય ઉતાર-ચઢાવ આવે છતાં આપણુ જીવન ન ડગમગાય. પણ જો આપણે શિક્ષાને બોજ માનીને લાદતાં રહીએ, અને શિક્ષકને એક બોરિંગ વ્યક્તિ સમજીને તેની સલાહ, તેમજ તેમના ઠપકાને હસવામાં કાઢીએ તો યુવાનીના ઉંબરે આવીને ઉભા રહીએ ત્યારે જીવનમાં આગળ વધવાના સંધર્ષ દરમિયાન જે ઠોકરો ખાવી પડે તે સમયે આપણને આપણી ભૂલોનું ભાન થાય છે.

શિક્ષક એવી વ્યક્તિ છે જે આપણને સાચુ માર્ગદર્શન કરે છે. શિક્ષક આપણા ચરિત્રનું ઘડતર કરે છે. મા-બાપ તો એક સમયે લાડમાં આપણા દોષોને પણ ઢાંકી દે છે પણ શિક્ષક આપણા દોષો અંગે વારંવાર ટોકીને, આપણને સમજાવીને, ઠપકો આપીને કે આપણને સજા આપીને હંમેશા એક સારી વ્યક્તિ બનાવવાની કોશિશ કરે છે. ખરી રીતે જોવા જઈએ તો શિક્ષક જ આપણા જીવનને ખૂબીઓથી ભરે છે.

આ શિક્ષક દિવસે તમે શું કરશો તમારા શિક્ષક માટે ? કોઈ કિમંતી ભેટ આપીને તમે તમારાં શિક્ષક પર તમારી શ્રીમંતાઈની અકડ બતાવવાની કે શિક્ષકે તમને એક વિશેષ વ્યક્તિ બનાવ્યા છે તેની કિમંત ચૂકાવવાની કોશિશ ન કરતાં કારણ કે એ તો તમે કદી જ નહી ચૂકવી શકો. શિક્ષકને સાચી ભેટ તો એ કહેવાય કે તમે તમારા શિક્ષક સામે તમારી ભૂલોને કબૂલી લો, અને તેમને વચન આપો કે ભવિષ્યમાં કદી આવી ભૂલો નહી કરો. એક વિદ્યાર્થીને જ્યારે કોઈ વિષયમાં ઝીરો નંબર મળ્યો હોય ત્યારે સૌથી વધુ દુ:ખ શિક્ષકને થાય છે કારણકે તેમને એવું લાગે છે કે શુ હું આટલું ખરાબ ભણાવું છુ, પણ જ્યારે એ જ વિદ્યાર્થી સારા નંબરે પાસ થઈ જાય છે ત્યારે શિક્ષક જેટલી ખુશી કોઈને થતી નથી. હું તો એવા પણ શિક્ષકો જોયા છે, જે પોતાના હાથ નીચે ભણેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને મોટા પદ પર બેસેલાં જોઈને એક અદ્ભૂત સંતુષ્ટિ અનુભવે છે, પછી ભલેને તે ઉચ્ચપદ પર બેસેલો વિદ્યાર્થી તેમને ભૂલી ગયો હોય.

શિક્ષક તમારી ભેટથી નહી પણ તેમને શીખવાડેલી વાતોને તમે જીવનમાં ઉતારી છે તે જોઈને ખુશ થશે. તમને કદી એવું લાગતું હશે કે શિક્ષકને હોશિયાર વિદ્યાર્થી વધુ વહાલાં લાગે છે, પણ એવું નથી હોતું, શિક્ષક માટે બધા વિદ્યાર્થી એક જેવા હોય છે. એ પ્રેમ એમનો તે વિદ્યાર્થી પ્રતિ જ નહી પણ તેમને આપેલી શિક્ષા ક્યાંક તો સફળ થઈ રહી છે એવું અનુભવીને તે તેઓ તે વિદ્યાર્થી પ્રતિ પોતાની ખુશીની ભાવના વ્યક્ત કરે છે. અને જેઓ ભણવામાં કાંચા છે તેમની તરફ જોઈને પોતાની અસફળતાને કેવી રીતે સફળતામાં ફેરવવી તે વિચારતાં હોય છે.

આવો આજના આ શિક્ષક દિવસે આપણે આપણા શિક્ષકને કેટલાંક વચનો આપીએ, અને થોડાંક દિવસોમાં તેને પુરા કરીને શિક્ષકને અમૂલ્ય ભેટ આપીએ.
