19 अक्टूबर 2021 को शरद पूर्णिमा का व्रत रखा जाएगा। 19 अक्टूबर शाम 7 बजकर 5 मिनट 43 सेकंड से पूर्णिमा तिथि प्रारंभ होकर 20 अक्टूबर को रात्रि 8 बजकर 28 मिनट और 57 सेकंड पर तिथि समाप्त होगी। आओ जानते हैं शरद पूर्णिमा की पूजा विधि।
1. सुबह जल्दी उठकर नित्यकर्म से निवृत्त होकर स्नान आदि कार्य करें और फिर अपने ईष्टदेव के समक्ष व्रत करने का संकल्प लें।
2. अपने ईष्ट देव की पूजा करें। इसके लिए उनके चित्र या मूर्ति को कुश के आसन पर रखकर जल से पवित्र करें और सुदंर वस्त्र पहनाकर आवाहन कहते हुए आचमन करें और फिर उन्हें गंध, अक्षत, पुष्प, धूप, दीप, नैवेद्य, तांबूल, सुपारी और दक्षिणा आदि अर्पित करके उनका पूजन करें और व्रत के संकल्प को दौहराएं। इस दिन भगवान शिव-पार्वती और भगवान कार्तिकेय की पूजा भी की जाती है।
3. अब रात्रि के समय गाय के दूध से बनी खीर में घी और चीनी मिलाकर अपने ईष्टदेव को भोग लगाएं। इसके बाद रात्रि में चंद्रमा के आकाश के मध्य में स्थित हो जाने पर चंद्रदेव का पूजन करें तथा उन्हें खीर का भोग अर्पण करें।

4. रात्रि में ही छत ये जहां पर भी चंद्रमा की रोशनी पड़ रही हो वहां पर खीर से भरा बर्तन रख दें। ध्यान रखें कि बर्तन उचित स्थान पर और सुरक्षित रखा हो। बिल्ली के आने जाने का खतरा या कचरा गिरने का खतरा न हो।
5. अब दूसरे दिन उस पात्र की खीर को सेवन करें और उसे प्रसाद रूप में सभी को बांटे।
6. इसके बाद पूर्णिमा व्रत की कथा सुनें। कथा से पूर्व एक लोटे में जल और गिलास में गेहूं, पत्ते के दोने में रोली व चावल रखकर कलश की वंदना करें और दक्षिणा चढ़ाएं।
7. अंत में सभी देवी देवाओं की पूजा आरती करें।
