कश्मीर का श्रीनगर : श्रीनगर के बहाने आप भारत के सबसे खूबसूरत राज्य जम्मू और कश्मीर में घूम सकते हैं। यहां जहां अमरनाथ, वैष्णोदेवी की गुफा है तो दूसरी ओर बर्फ से ढंगे खूबसूरत पहाड़, डल झील और लंबे-लंबे देवतार के वृक्ष।
राजस्थान का रेगिस्तान : राजस्थान में रेगिस्तान के अलावा कई ऐतिहासिक किलें और झीलें देखने लायक हैं। राजस्थान का रेगिस्तान अपने आप में एक रहस्य है। अगर आप रेगिस्तान ही देखना चाहते हैं तो जरूरी है जैसलमेर और बाड़मेर का दौरा करना। बाड़मेर राजस्थान में स्थित एक छोटा किंतु रंगों से भरपूर शहर है, लेकिन इसको देखना राजस्थान को देखना है। दूसरी ओर अनुपम वास्तुशिल्प, मधुर लोक संगीत, विपुल सांस्कृतिक एवं ऐतिहासिक विरासत को अपने में संजोए हुए जैसलमेर स्वर्ण नगरी के रूप में विख्यात है। जैसलमेर के प्रमुख ऐतिहासिक स्मारकों में सर्वप्रमुख यहां का किला है। जैसलमेर शहर के निकट एक पहाड़ी पर बने हुए इस दुर्ग में राजमहल, कई प्राचीन जैन मंदिर और ज्ञान भंडार नामक एक पुस्तकालय है जिसमें प्राचीन संस्कृत तथा प्राकृत पांडुलिपियां रखी हुई हैं।
गुजरात का द्वारिका नगर : कई द्वारों का शहर होने के कारण 'द्वारिका' इसका नाम पड़ा। इस शहर के चारों ओर बहुत ही लंबी दीवार थी जिसमें कई द्वार थे। वह दीवार आज भी समुद्र के तल में स्थित है। गुजरात राज्य के पश्चिमी सिरे पर समुद्र के किनारे स्थित 4 धामों में से 1 धाम और 7 पवित्र पुरियों में से 1 पुरी है द्वारिका। द्वारिका 2 हैं- गोमती द्वारिका, बेट द्वारिका। गोमती द्वारिका धाम है, बेट द्वारिका पुरी है। बेट द्वारिका के लिए समुद्र मार्ग से जाना पड़ता है।
केरल : केरल को कुदरत ने बड़ी खूबसूरती से संवारा है इसलिए हनीमून के लिए केरल सबसे उपयुक्त जगह है। अगर आपको समुद्री किनारों से खास लगाव है तो यहां मौजूद चुआरा बीच, कोवलम बीच, मरुदेश्वर बीच, बेकल बीच, वर्कला बीच और शांघमुघम बीच आपके लिए सही रहेंगे। अगर आप किसी हिल स्टेशन का मजा लेना चाहते हैं तो केरल में मुन्नार, पेरीमेड, इड्डुकी, लक्कडी, देवीकुलम जैसे खूबसूरत पहाड़ी इलाकों में से आप किसी का भी चुनाव कर सकते हैं। खासकर मुन्नार तो देश ही नहीं, विदेशी सैलानियों के बीच भी काफी मशहूर है।
अंदमान-निकोबार : अगर आपको पानी से खास लगाव है तो अंडमान-निकोबार आइलैंड आपके लिए सही रहेगा। बंगाल की खाड़ी में स्थित और हिन्द महासागर की जल सीमा से सटा अंडमान-निकोबार द्वीप समूह वास्तव में 300 से अधिक खूबसूरत द्वीपों और टापुओं का बड़ा समूह है, जहां पन्ना और मूंगे की चट्टानें भी मौजूद हैं। सफेद बालू वाले सुंदर समुद्र तट, जहां पानी के किनारे कतार में लंबे-लंबे नारियल के पेड़ काफी आकर्षक नजर आते हैं। कोर्बिन्स कोव बीच, चिराया टापू, वाइपर द्वीप, रॉस आईलैंड, करमतांग बीच, रेडस्किन आईलैंड नील आईलैंड, हैवलॉक आईलैंड, हरमिंदर बे तट, चिड़िया टापू (बर्ड वॉचिंग) आदि सैलानियों के विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र माने जाते हैं। लोगों की भीड़ से दूर विशाल समुद्र का साफ पानी आपको यहां अठखेलियां करने के लिए मजबूर कर देगा। आप चाहें तो यहां सन बाथ, वाटर स्पोर्ट्स और सी-फूड का भी मजा ले सकते हैं।

कन्याकुमारी : कन्याकुमारी हिन्दुओं का प्रमुख तीर्थस्थल है। कन्याकुमारी तमिलनाडु राज्य का एक शहर है। यहां के समुद्री तट पर ही कुमारी देवी का मंदिर है, जहां देवी पार्वती के कन्या रूप को पूजा जाता है। मंदिर में प्रवेश के लिए पुरुषों को कमर से ऊपर के वस्त्र उतारने पड़ते हैं। प्रचलित कथा के अनुसार देवी का विवाह संपन्न न हो पाने के कारण बच गए दाल-चावल बाद में कंकर बन गए। आश्चर्यजनक रूप से कन्याकुमारी के समुद्र तट की रेत में दाल और चावल के आकार और रंग-रूप के कंकर बड़ी मात्रा में देखे जा सकते हैं।
सूर्योदय और सूर्यास्त : कन्याकुमारी अपने सूर्योदय के दृश्य के लिए काफी प्रसिद्ध है। सुबह हर होटल की छत पर पर्यटकों की भारी भीड़ सूरज की अगवानी के लिए जमा हो जाती है। शाम को सागर में डूबते सूरज को देखना भी यादगार होता है। उत्तर की ओर करीब 2-3 किलोमीटर दूर एक सनसेट प्वॉइंट भी है।
दार्जिलिंग : 'क्वीन ऑफ हिल्स' के नाम से मशहूर दार्जिलिंग हमेशा से एक बेहतरीन हनीमून डेस्टिनेशन रहा है। कभी सिक्किम का हिस्सा रहे इस हिल स्टेशन की सबसे बड़ी खासियत है यहां के चाय बागान। दूर-दूर तक फैले हरी चाय के खेत मानो धरती पर हरी चादर बिछी हो। पश्चिम बंगाल के इस शानदार हिल स्टेशन की खूबसूरती सिर्फ इसके चाय बागान नहीं हैं बल्कि यहां की वादियां भी बेहद मनोहारी हैं। बर्फ से ढंके सुंदर पहाड़, देवदार के जंगल, प्राकृतिक सुंदरता, कलकल करते झरने सबका मन मोह लेते हैं। अपनी इसी खूबसूरती के कारण ही इसे 'पहाड़ों की रानी' कहा गया है और इसकी गिनती दुनियाभर के मशहूर और खूबसूरत हिल स्टेशनों में की जाती है।

अरुणाचल : पूर्वोत्तर में अरुणाचल का सफर करना बहुत ही सुंदर, रोमांच और अद्भुत अनुभवों से भरा रहेगा। असम, सिक्किम, अरुणाचल, नगालैंड, त्रिपुरा, मेघालय और मणिपुर में घूमना बहुत ही अद्भुत है। भारत के ये पूर्वोत्तर राज्य अपने आप में प्राकृतिक खूबसूरती को समेटे हुए हैं। यहां के ऊंचे ऊंचे पहाड़ देखने लायक हैं। पहाड़ों की सुंदरता को देखना है तो पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों का दौरा जरूर करना चाहिए। अरुणाचल की ऊंची-ऊंची चोटियों से नीचे गिरते झरने दुनिया के सबसे खूबसूरत झरने हैं। विशेषकर गोरिचन और कांगटो की चोटियों को देखना गजब का अनुभव और अहसास देता है। बल खाती सर्पीली पहाड़ी नदी कामेंग में एडवेंचर टूरिज्म के शौकीनों के लिए एक आदर्श स्थान साबित हो सकता है।
बोधगया : बिहार के गया जिले के प्रसिद्ध पर्यटक स्थल व धर्मनगरी बोधगया में जैन, बौद्ध और हिन्दू- तीनों ही धर्मों के लोग एकजुट होते हैं। बिहार में ही राजगीर है। गया के तट पर जहां एक और हिन्दू अपने पितरों को पिंडदान देने के लिए एकत्रित होते हैं, वहीं वहां से कुछ किलोमीटर दूर एक स्थान पर भगवान बुद्ध को ज्ञान प्राप्त हुआ था जिसे आज 'बोधगया' कहा जाता है। यहां का महाबोधि मंदिर विश्वप्रसिद्ध है।
अमरकंटक : भारत के पर्यटन स्थलों में अमरकंटक प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ और नयनाभिराम पर्यटन स्थल है। विंध्य और सतपुड़ा पर्वतमालाओं के बीच 1,065 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित यह हरा-भरा होने के साथ-साथ अपने में कई रहस्य समेटे हुए हैं। आश्चर्य नहीं कि यहां के बंदर भी आपको ध्यान करते हुए मिल जाएं। भारत की प्रमुख 7 नदियों में से अनुपम नर्मदा का उद्गम स्थल अमरकंटक है और यह मध्यप्रदेश के शहडोल जिले की पुष्पराजगढ़ तहसील के दक्षिण-पूर्वी भाग में स्थित अमरकंटक पवित्र स्थलों में गिना जाता है। यहां एक प्राचीन कमंडल है, जो हमेशा पानी से भरा रहता है।
