माना कि मां दुनिया की अनोखी और अद्भुत देन हैं, जो बच्चे को 9 माह तक अपनी कोख में रखकर, पाल-पोस कर उसे जन्म देने का नायाब काम करती है। अपना दूध पिलाकर उस नींव को सींचती और संवारती है। जैसा कि मां का स्थान दुनिया सबसे महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है। वैसे भी पिता का स्थान भी बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होता है।
भले ही पिता एक मां की तरह अपने कोख से बच्चे को जन्म न दे पाएं। अपना दूध न पिला पाएं, लेकिन सच तो यह है कि एक बच्चे के जीवन में अपने पिता का बहुत बड़ा और सबसे ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण स्थान होता है। जिस घर में पिता नहीं है। उन घरों की हालत दुनिया वाले बदतर से भी बदतर कर देते हैं। पिता न होने का खामियाजा घर की औरत साथ-साथ उसके बच्चों की जीवन भर भुगतना पड़ता है। उसके माता-पिता द्वारा किए गए अच्छे-बुरे कर्मों का हिसाब बच्चों को पूरी तरह चुकाना पड़ता है।
बच्चों की देखरेख करने के लिए अगर पिता नहीं है तो उन मासूम बच्चों के सारे लाड़-प्यार, दुलार, पिता की छांव सबकुछ अधूरा रह जाता है। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि अगर किसी के घर में मां नहीं है तो बच्चों की देखरेख ठीक से नहीं हो पाती। ठीक उसी तरह पिता के न होने पर भी बच्चों का वहीं हाल होता है। अपने बच्चे को वो सारे लाड़-प्यार, वो गाड़ी पर घुमाना, खाने-पीने की चीजें दिलाकर लाना। बात-बात पर उन्हें टॉफी-आइस्क्रीम दिलाना, पान खिलाना और उनकी घर जरूरतों को समयानुसार पूरे करते रहना यह एक पिता के बिना कतई संभव नहीं है।
हां! यह बात जरूर है कि अगर किसी के परिवार में उनके पिता अपने बच्चों और पत्नी के लिए ढेर सारी जायदाद छोड़कर गए है या फिर वो महिला जो अकेले होते हुए भी बहुत ज्यादा सक्षम है, उसकी आमदनी जरूरत के हिसाब से काफी तगड़ी है तो शायद वो ठीक से अपने बच्चे की जिम्मेदारी निभा सके। लेकिन फिर भी इस दुनिया जहान में बिना पिता के जीवनयापन करना बहुत मुश्किलों भरा काम है।

पिता के बिना बच्चों को हर उस जरूरत के लिए तरसना पड़ता है, जिसके वे हकदार होते है। कम उम्र में ही बच्चों को काम में हाथ बंटाना पड़ता है। ना चाहते हुए भी नौकरी करनी पड़ती है। ना चाहते हुए भी अपनी पढ़ाई अधूरी छोड़कर काम-धंधे की और कमाई की फिक्र करते हुए इन्कम के नित नए-नए रास्ते खोजना पड़ते है ताकि वो घर का खर्चा बंटाने में मां की मदद कर सकें। वो अपना सारा आराम छोड़कर मां की तरह इस चिंता में घुलते रहते है कि किस तरह अच्छी नौकरी, अच्छा व्यवसाय जमा कर अपने घर को संभाला जाए। अगर घर में पिता होते है तो इन सारी जिम्मेदारियों से बच्चों को काफी हद तक मुक्ति मिल जाती है। फिर उन पर किसी तरह का कोई एक्स्ट्रा बर्डन नहीं रहता। वो अपनी मर्जी से घूम-फिर सकते हैं। अपने दोस्तों के साथ पार्टियों में शामिल हो सकते हैं और सारी दुनिया की फिक्र छोड़कर पिता के गोद में सिर रखकर आराम से सो सकते हैं।
यह सब एक मां के राज में संभव नहीं हो पाता। बच्चों से लेकर बड़े बुजुर्गों तक सभी को पिता के साथ की जरूरत होती है। बच्चों के मन में पिता न होने का भय हर समय सताता रहता है। लेकिन क्या करें भगवान के इस फैसले के आगे सभी नतमस्तक होते हैं। उनके फैसले के आगे किसी की नहीं चलती। इसलिए वो मासूम बच्चे पिता की छत्र छाया से वंचित होकर मायूसीभरा जीवन जीने को मजबूर हो जाते हैं।
हमारे आस-पास भी कई ऐसे परिवार मौजूद हैं, जो इन परिस्थितियों से गुजर रहे होते हैं और हम उनके लिए कुछ नहीं कर पाते। अगर घर में पिता नहीं है तो परिवार वाले, रिश्ते-नातेदार सभी मुंह मोड़ लेते हैं या फिर शर्तों की नोंक पर उन्हें जीवनयापन के लिए मजूबर करते हैं। ऐसे दुख और मायूसीभरा जीवन ईश्वर किसी को भी न दें। संसार के सभी लोगों को माता-पिता का भरपूर प्यार मिलें, ताकि किसी भी बच्चे के मन में उसके पिता न होने की मजबूरी न हो और वे अपना जीवन पिता के हरेभरे पेड़ की छांव में सुचारू रूप से अपना जीवन जी पाएं और हर पर खुश रहकर दूसरों को भी खुशियां बांट सकें।
हम सभी सिर्फ एक दिन 'फादर्स डे' मना कर इस दिन से इतिश्री नहीं कर सकते। माता-पिता ही दुनिया की सबसे गहरी छाया होते हैं, जिनके सहारे जीवन जीने का सौभाग्य हर किसी के बस में नहीं होता। इसलिए हम अपने माता-पिता का आशीर्वाद लेकर सिर्फ एक दिन ही उन्हें याद ना करते हुए प्रतिदिन उन्हें नमन कर अपना जीवन सार्थक बनाएं क्योंकि माता और पिता दोनों की सहायता से ही जीवन की नैय्या चलती है।
अकेले से नहीं...!
