बाराबंकी। बीती 12 अप्रैल को बाराबंकी कोतवाली क्षेत्र के सफेदाबाद में महिला पत्रकार के साथ तीन लोगों द्वारा सामूहिक बलात्कार के मामले में कोतवाली पुलिस ने एफआईआर नंबर 0243 के अंतर्गत आईपीसी की धारा 376डी (गैंग रेप) व 392 (लूट) के तहत मंगलवार की रात मामला दर्ज कर पीड़िता की जांच जिला महिला अस्पताल में बुधवार को कराई किन्तु समाचार लिखे जाने तक दुष्कर्म के आरोपियों सुनील गुप्ता, रामसागर गुप्ता व शिमला देवी पत्नी सुनील गुप्ता की पुलिस गिरफ्तारी नहीं हो सकी।
उल्लेखनीय है कि पीड़िता एक बेटी की मां और पत्रकार (सह-सम्पादक) है और उसके साथ तीन लोगों ने मिलकर (गैंगरेप) मुंह काला किया। पीड़िता वैशाली एक्सप्रेस चैनल व इंसाफ-ए-जजमेंट अखबार में पत्रकार है, फिर भी उसे प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराने के लिए पुलिस थाने, कोतवाली के चक्कर लगाने पड़े किन्तु उसे न्याय न मिला।
महिला पत्रकार का पति भी एक समाचार चैनल, साप्ताहिक अखबार तथा पत्रिका का संपादक है किन्तु जब इस पत्रकार दम्पति की पुलिस ने नहीं सुनी तो जिले के एक्टिविस्ट रणधीरसिंह सुमन ने मामला सोशल साइट पर उजागर किया तो तहसील दिवस पर एसपी बाराबंकी ने आखिरकार प्रार्थना पत्र को संज्ञान में लेकर दिनांक 17 अप्रैल को बलात्कार का मुकदमा दर्ज करने के आदेश दिए, जिस पर कोतवाली बाराबंकी के कोतवाल ने इस प्रकरण में मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया।

महिला पत्रकार के साथ हुए सामूहिक बलात्कार के इस प्रकरण पर उप्र जर्नलिस्ट्स एसोसिएशन (उपजा) के प्रांतीय अध्यक्ष दीपक अग्निहोत्री व महामंत्री रमेश चन्द जैन ने आक्रोश व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि सरकार महिला पत्रकार के साथ हुए सामूहिक बलात्कार के आरोपियों को तुरंत गिरफ्तार कर कड़ी सजा दी जाए और सरकार पत्रकारों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करे। उपजा पदाधिकारियों ने मांग की है कि महाराष्ट्र की तर्ज पर उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार भी पत्रकार सुरक्षा कानून बनाकर उसे लागू करे, अन्यथा प्रदेश भर के पत्रकार आंदोलन के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
