* वट सावित्री व्रत विधि और पूजा विधि
वट सावित्री अमावस्या के दिन सावित्री ने यमराज से अपने पति सत्यवान के प्राणों की रक्षा की थी। हिन्दू धर्म में वट सावित्री अमावस्या सौभाग्यवती स्त्रियों का महत्वपूर्ण पर्व है।
इस व्रत को ज्येष्ठ कृष्ण त्रयोदशी से अमावस्या तक तथा ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल त्रयोदशी से पूर्णिमा तक करने का विधान है। इस व्रत को सभी प्रकार की स्त्रियां यानी कुमारी, विवाहिता, कुपुत्रा, सुपुत्रा, विधवा आदि करती हैं। इस व्रत को स्त्रियां अखंड सौभाग्यवती रहने की मंगलकामना से करती हैं।
आजकल अमावस्या को ही इस व्रत का नियोजन होता है। इस दिन वट (बड़, बरगद) का पूजन होता है। आइए जानें वट सावित्री अमावस्या के दिन क्या करें...
* प्रात:काल घर की सफाई कर नित्य कर्म से निवृत्त होकर स्नान करें।
* तत्पश्चात पवित्र जल का पूरे घर में छिड़काव करें।
* इसके बाद बांस की टोकरी में सप्त धान्य भरकर ब्रह्मा की मूर्ति की स्थापना करें।
* ब्रह्मा के वाम पार्श्व में सावित्री की मूर्ति स्थापित करें।
* इसी प्रकार दूसरी टोकरी में सत्यवान तथा सावित्री की मूर्तियों की स्थापना करें। इन टोकरियों को वटवृक्ष के नीचे ले जाकर रखें।
* इसके बाद ब्रह्मा तथा सावित्री का पूजन करें।
अब निम्न श्लोक से सावित्री को अर्घ्य दें-
अवैधव्यं च सौभाग्यं देहि त्वं मम सुव्रते।
पुत्रान् पौत्रांश्च सौख्यं च गृहाणार्घ्यं नमोऽस्तुते।।
* तत्पश्चात सावित्री तथा सत्यवान की पूजा करके बड़ की जड़ में पानी दें।
इसके बाद निम्न श्लोक से वटवृक्ष की प्रार्थना करें-
यथा शाखाप्रशाखाभिर्वृद्धोऽसि त्वं महीतले।
तथा पुत्रैश्च पौत्रैश्च सम्पन्नं कुरु मा सदा।।
* पूजा में जल, मौली, रोली, कच्चा सूत, भिगोया हुआ चना, फूल तथा धूप का प्रयोग करें।
* जल से वटवृक्ष को सींचकर उसके तने के चारों ओर कच्चा धागा लपेटकर 3 बार परिक्रमा करें।
* बड़ के पत्तों के गहने पहनकर वट सावित्री की कथा सुनें।
* भीगे हुए चनों का बायना निकालकर, नकद रुपए रखकर सासुजी के चरण स्पर्श करें।
* यदि सास वहां न हो तो बायना बनाकर उन तक पहुंचाएं।
* वट तथा सावित्री की पूजा के पश्चात प्रतिदिन पान, सिन्दूर तथा कुमकुम से सौभाग्यवती स्त्री के पूजन का भी विधान है। यही सौभाग्य पिटारी के नाम से जानी जाती है। सौभाग्यवती स्त्रियों का भी पूजन होता है। कुछ महिलाएं केवल अमावस्या को एक दिन का ही व्रत रखती हैं।
* पूजा समाप्ति पर ब्राह्मणों को वस्त्र तथा फल आदि वस्तुएं बांस के पात्र में रखकर दान करें।
अंत में निम्न संकल्प लेकर उपवास रखें -
मम वैधव्यादिसकलदोषपरिहारार्थं ब्रह्मसावित्रीप्रीत्यर्थं
सत्यवत्सावित्रीप्रीत्यर्थं च वटसावित्रीव्रतमहं करिष्ये।
* इस वट वृक्ष के नीचे सावित्री-सत्यवान की पुण्य कथा का श्रवण करने से मनोवांछित फल की प्राप्ति होती है।
