हाँ! रखी हूँ आज स्टोर रूम में। नहीं बची कोई जगह तुम्हारे घर में मेरे लिए। जालों ने घेर लिया है मुझे। और छिपकलियां रोज़ ब रोज़ मेरे इर्द गिर्द ऐसे नाचती हैं जैसे मेरा वुजूद इनकी लुकाछिपी के लिये बना बागीचा हो। कोई और नहीं, तुम्हारी साइकल। खाने की मेज़ से उठ जब लटकती तोंद देखते हो तो रोज़ खुद से वादा करते हो कि कल से दो घंटे मेरा इस्तेमाल करोगे। मेरे साथ की खुमारी कुछ ऐसे सुलाती है कि अगले दिन वही देर से जागना और देर से दिन शुरू करना। निकालना कार और भाग जाना ऑफ़िस। पीछे छोड़ जाना धूल धुएं में धुंधलाए मंज़र। और फिर थकान से टूट जब घर आते हो तुम्हें मैं याद भी नहीं रहती।
सब भूल गए न! कितने बेवफ़ा हो तुम! छोडो, क्या क्या याद दिलाऊं… याद है, जब पूरे पांच साल अपने पैरों का इस्तेमाल कर थक जाने पर तुमने मेरे तीन पहिये देखे थे और मेरा सुंदर लाल रंग देख मचल उठे थे। “पापा! हमें भी ले दो न बिट्टू बिन्नू की तरह लाल वाली साइकिल! या न हो तो माही टुकटुक की तरह एक पहिया साइकिल स्कूटर!!”
“पहले First आओ कक्षा में !” घुडकते हुए ही पिता जी ने कहा था।
कितनी मिन्नतों के बाद मिली थी मैं! रंग गहरा नीला…और तुम! सोने के पहले एक बार मुझे ज़रूर देखते थे। और जब तक नींद न आती तुम मेरे इर्द गिर्द ही चक्कर लगाया करते थे। पहिये के आविष्कार के बाद तुम्हें लगता था बस तुम्हारे जीवन में ही क्रांति आई थी। तुममे ही क्यों, मैं तो दुनिया भर में क्रांति का सबब थी।
मेरे चालक को लाइसेंस रखना होता था, मुझमें लाइट भी होती थी।। आज मेरी वह लाइट वक़्त के अंधेरे में अपनी तमाम चमक दमक समेटे गुम है और शायद नई सदी के बच्चे तो मुझे याद ही न करें.... वह तो भला हो यूनाइटेड नेशंस जनरल असेम्बली का जिसने 3 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सायकल दिवस घोषित कर उन दो दशकों में साइकिल की एक-छत्रता को सम्मानित कर दिया।
इस दिन को मनाने का श्रेय अमेरिका के एक विश्वविद्यालय के समाजशास्त्र के प्रोफ़ेसर लेज़ेक सिबिल्स्की को जाता है जिसने अपने एक अभियान के तहत अप्रैल 2018 से विश्व साइकल दिवस का आरम्भ किया। इस पहल को तुर्कमेनिस्तान के साथ 56 मुल्कों के लोगों ने सराहा और तुम्हें मेरे गुमशुदा दिन याद आने लगे।
कितनी शान की सवारी थी मैं ! कभी मेरे उद्घाटनों पर राजा साहब छत्र लगा कर बैठा करते थे, फिर फ़िल्मी हस्तियों ने मुझ पर सुन्दर और सुपर डुपर हिट फ़िल्मी गीत फिल्माए। साठ के दशक का ब्लैक एंड व्हाइट सिनेमा, रफ़ी साहब की अल्हड आवाज़ पर संगत देती आशा जी आवाज़ की मादकता ! कितनी मोहब्बत से दोनों ने मुझे स्वरांजलि दी थी , " ये साइकल का चक्कर , कभी आगे , कभी पीछे ।। " ,
किशोर दा भी मुझे कब भूले थे, वे भी तो गुनगुनाए थे , “माइकल है तो साइकिल है, माइकल जो नहीं साइकिल भी नहीं”। चन्दन से बदन और चंचल चितवन वाली नूतन लहक लहक कर, पंछी बन कर प्यार का तराना गाती, साइकल चलातीं जब रुपहले परदे पर नज़र आईं थी तुम उनकी ऐक्टिंग के साथ उनकी साइकल के भी तो फैन हो गये थे।
और आखिरकार दसवीं कक्षा के बाद चुपके से पिता जी की साइकिल चलाते हुए "उनकी गली " हो आये थे और डाँट भी खाई थी। कितना लुत्फ़ था उस डाँट में। अफ़सोस!! आज वह गलियां भी गाँव में ही छूट गई और मेरा मोह भी! सच ही तो लिखा है किसी कवि ने : “दोनों ही छूट जाती हैं / जीवन की रफ़्तार में / प्रथम प्रेमिका सायकल सी ही होती है....”
मैं चली, मैं चली, देखो प्यार की गली गाते गाते और तेज़ रफ़्तार से साइकल चलाते सायरा जी तो दिलीप जी के घर ही आ थीं पर हिंदी सिने इंडस्ट्री की मोहब्बत मुझ पर कम नहीं हुई थी। सत्तर के दशक के पोस्टमैन मुझ पर बैठ कर ही मोहब्बत की गलियों से गुज़र कर, शहर ऐ दिल जा , सनम के खत पहुंचाया करते थे और अस्सी के दशक के एंग्री यंगमैन "गुज़र जाएँ दिन, हर पल गिन" गाते मुझ पर ही बैठ कर फैक्ट्री जाया करते थे। क्या खूब मोहब्बत पाई थी मैंने कि जहां मेरा होना लाज़िमी नहीं था वहाँ भी मुझे बड़ी खूबसूरती से फिट कर दिया जाता था।
फिल्म "पतिपत्नी और वह" में संजीव कुमार और विद्या सिन्हा जी पर एक बरात के गीत में मुझे आनंद बक्शी जी ने बड़ी ही खूबसूरती से फिट कर दिया था , "लड़की साइकिल वाली , दे गयी रस्ते में एक प्यार भरी गाली , गाली पे छोड़ दिया , तुम जैसे दीवाने का सर क्यू नहीं फोड़ दिया..."
इतना ही नहीं जनाब! जो जीता वही सिकंदर में पूरी हारी बाज़ी हीरो साहब ने मुझ पर ही बैठ कर जीती थी, गोविंदा जी ने तो मुझे पूरा सोने में मढ उसमे चांदी की सीट लगा अपनी डार्लिंग को बैठा दर्शको का खूब मनोरंजन किया था तो सलमान साहब भी कब पीछे थे, "मैंने प्यार किया " में अपनी हीरो रेंजर घर में ही चलाया करते थे।
फिल्म भाग्यश्री और कबूतर से ही हिट नहीं हुई थी मैं भी उसमे बराबर की शरीक थी। अनिल कपूर साहब ने साइकिल पर फूल लाते हुए ही तो एक लड़की को देखा था (1942 अ लव स्टोरी) और आवारा भंवरों की गुनगुन सुनती काजोल जी मुझ पर बैठ कर ही तो सपनाई थीं।
आजकल हीरो प्लेन से कूद कर स्टंट करता है, बाइक से कूदता है। मुझ पर बैठ कर यह सब नहीं हो सकता न ! पर क्या तुम नहीं स्वीकारते कि मेरी पीठ पर सवार हो तुमने स्टंट नहीं हकीकत की दुनिया देखी थी, दो दो चार चार मिल कर मुझ पर सवार हो इंदौर से महू और अम्बाला से पटियाला हो आया करते थे। न पेट्रोल का खर्च था न प्रदूषण की चिंता ! स्वास्थ्य और मेरा भी चोली दामन का साथ था!
मानती हूँ ज़िंदगी के तेज़ क़दम रास्तों को मेरी सुस्त रफ्तार से नहीं तय किया जा सकता है पर ज़रा खुद से भी पूछो कि जल्दी जल्दी भागते हुए तुम पहुंचे किधर हो! हरि भजन को आये और कपास औंटने लगे, न खुद की फिकर, न खुदा की चिंता तिस पर धूल , धुंए से भर दुनिया को कोरोना की कगार पर ले आये।सच तो यह है कि इस जल्दी जल्दी के चक्कर में तुम खुद भूल गए कि जाना किधर है ! भला तुमने पेट्रोल फूँक प्रकृति का विनाश न किया होता तो क्या वह कोरोना रूपी पुत्र जनती!
फिर कहती हूँ , सँभलने और पलट जाने का सफर आगाज़ हो चुका है , लौट आओ की तुम्हे आज भी मैं प्रेम करती हूँ। सुनो! हर बार भागना ही ज़रूरी नहीं होता, कभी कभी आहिस्ते आहिस्ते सफर कर, अपनो की भावनाओं के धीमे धीमे संगीत भी सुनने होते हैं! हम मिल कर धीरे धीरे ही सही ज़िंदगी का सफर तय कर लेंगे। तुम लौट आओ कि मेरी मीठी घंटी गुनगुनाने को बेताब है....
