लता दीदी के बहाने : सबको सन्मति दे भगवान...

बात ही ऐसी है। जी-जान जलाने और आंखों में आंसुओं के साथ जहरीला धुंआ भर देने वाली। 'अल्लाह तेरो नाम ईश्वर तेरो नाम, सबको सन्मति दे भगवान...' शब्दों को स्वर्गिक सुरों से अर्थ बना देने वाली आवाज ने सोचा भी न होगा कि उसके पार्थिव पर, जब वह पंच तत्व को सुरीला बना रही थी तब इस इस लोक में इस अद्भुत 'दुआ-प्रार्थना' की सड़ांध भरी सोच का शिकार हो रही होंगी।

साथ में उनकी पहचान, श्वेतवस्त्र वो बॉर्डर वाली साड़ी और कभी दो, कभी एक लम्बे बालों वाली चोटी, माथे पर बिंदी व उससे भी उज्जवल उनके हुनर और चरित्र। उसे भी इन जीरो मस्तिष्कों ने न छोड़ा। बदन से लिपटा तिरंगा भी इस कुचक्री सोच से शर्मिंदा तो हुआ होगा।

‘इस धरती का रूप न उजड़े, प्यार की ठंडी धूप न उजड़े...’ जब गाया होगा तब इनके मायने अलग थे। आज ये वाकई उजड़ चके हैं। शायद बंजर ही हो चुके हैं।वरना क्या कोई उनके चरित्र, उनकी सादगी, उनकी नैतिकता पर कीचड़ उछालने की सोच भी सकता? जबकि हम उन्हें मां सरस्वती का प्रतिरूप स्वीकार करते हैं। अपनी मां, अपनी देवी पर भला कौन कालिख के छींटे मार उसका शुभ्रत्व दागदार करता है। यदि हम इस इस युग में प्रवेश कर चुके हैं तो केवल इतना ही के 'ओ सारे जग के रखवाले, निर्बल को बल देने वाले. इन 'मति-मूढों' को दे दो ज्ञान'.

एक इंटरव्यू में लता दीदी ने कहा- 'यदि अगला जन्म होता है तो वे ‘लता मंगेशकर’ नहीं होना चाहेंगी। लता मंगेशकर होने की अपनी तकलीफें हैं' साथ ही उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि वे जीवन के किसी संघर्ष या पारिवारिक जिम्मेदारियों के कारण से ऐसा नहीं कहतीं। शायद वे समय की गति से परिचित थीं। सफलता के शिखर के शीर्ष पर पहुंचना, उसे बनाए रखने की जद्दोजहद कौन नहीं करता? विश्व में अपनी आवाज का जादू बिखेरना केवल उनके ही बस में था।वे स्वयं “कंठ-कोकिला” थीं. ‘भारत का अनमोल रत्न’।
