इंदौर। मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान पर निशाना साधते हुए कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने शनिवार को कहा कि उन्हें इस बात का प्रचार कतई नहीं करना चाहिए कि वे पिछड़े वर्ग से ताल्लुक रखते हैं, क्योंकि मुख्यमंत्री का संवैधानिक पद जाति-धर्म की सीमाओं से परे होता है।
प्रदेश कांग्रेस की चुनाव अभियान समिति के अध्यक्ष ने यहां कहा कि शिवराज अपने सार्वजनिक वक्तव्यों में अक्सर खुद को पिछड़ा बताते हैं लेकिन वे सुन लें कि मुख्यमंत्री पद की कोई जाति या धर्म नहीं होता। मध्यप्रदेश का मुख्यमंत्री सूबे की 7.50 करोड़ जनता का प्रतिनिधि होता है।
ग्वालियर के पूर्व राजघराने के 48 वर्षीय उत्तराधिकारी ने उन्हें शिवराज द्वारा 'महाराजा' कहे जाने पर भी आपत्ति जताई। उन्होंने कहा कि आजादी के बाद राजा-महाराजाओं का दौर खत्म हो गया है। एक राजनेता के रूप में मेरा मूल्यांकन सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र में मेरे परिश्रम के आधार पर होना चाहिए।

वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता ने कहा कि अगर शिवराज मेरे लिए 'राजा-महाराजा' जैसे शब्द इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं, तो उन्हें इस सवाल का भी जवाब देना चाहिए कि जब वे 30 साल पहले भाजपा के एक कार्यकर्ता थे, तब उन्होंने मेरी दिवंगत दादी (विजयाराजे सिंधिया) के लिए 'राजे-रजवाड़ों' से जुड़ी शब्दावली का इस्तेमाल क्यों नहीं किया था?
सिंधिया ने शिवराज पर कटाक्ष करते हुए कहा कि उन्हें 'राजे-रजवाड़ों' से जुड़ी शब्दावली के इस्तेमाल के सिलसिले में भाजपा से जुड़ीं उनकी दोनों बुआओं- राजस्थान की मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे सिंधिया और मध्यप्रदेश की कैबिनेट मंत्री यशोधराराजे सिंधिया से भी बात करनी चाहिए।
गौरतलब है कि कांग्रेस ने प्रदेश में इस साल के आखिर में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पद का चेहरा अब तक घोषित नहीं किया है। सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा की ओर से प्रमुख विपक्षी दल को लगातार चुनौती दी जा रही है कि वे इस पद पर दावेदारी के लिए अपने किसी नेता को शिवराज के खिलाफ चुनावी मैदान में उतारकर दिखाएं।
इस बारे में पूछे जाने पर सिंधिया ने कहा कि भाजपा को हमारे बारे में चिंता करने की बजाय अपना घर संभालना चाहिए। शिवराज को केवल अपनी कुर्सी की फिक्र है लेकिन हम सत्ता के लिए लालायित नहीं हैं और हमें केवल जनता की चिंता है और फिलहाल सूबे की 7.50 करोड़ जनता ही हमारा चुनावी चेहरा है।
सिंधिया ने शिवराज की अगुवाई में सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा के जारी चुनावी अभियान 'जन आशीर्वाद यात्रा' पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश में महिलाओं और छोटी बच्चियों से बलात्कार, बेरोजगारी और दलित-आदिवासी उत्पीड़न की घटनाओं में कथित इजाफे के कारण मुख्यमंत्री को 'जन क्षमा-याचना यात्रा' निकालनी चाहिए।
प्रदेश कांग्रेस की चुनाव अभियान समिति के अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि वे इसके पक्ष में हैं कि पार्टी को 40 से 50 प्रतिशत टिकट विधानसभा चुनावों के डेढ़ से दो महीने पहले बांटने चाहिए बाकी चुनावी टिकटों को सिलसिलेवार तरीके से चुनावों से 1 महीने पहले घोषित किया जाना चाहिए।
सिंधिया ने यह भी कहा कि कांग्रेस में 30 प्रतिशत चुनावी टिकट ऐसे चेहरों को दिए जाने चाहिए जिन्होंने पहले कभी विधानसभा चुनाव नहीं लड़ा हो लेकिन इन नेताओं की स्थानीय निकायों या जिला पंचायतों आदि में चुनावी पृष्ठभूमि रही हो। (भाषा)
