राजा ने कहा कि हर हिंदू को संघ की शाखा में जरूर शामिल होना चाहिए। कार्यक्रम में भाजपा सांसद साक्षी महाराज भी मौजूद थे। विधायक राजा के इस विवादास्पद बयान का कांग्रेस पुरजोर विरोध कर रही है। तेलंगाना के विधायक टी राजा ने शहर के फोरजीरो चौराहे पर हिंदू उत्सव समिति की धर्मसभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा की धर्महित में संगठित होकर काम करो।
आरएसएस की जहां भी शाखा लगे वहां शत-प्रतिशत लोगों को जाना चाहिए। जो संघ की शाखा में नहीं जाता वह खुद को हिन्दू कहना भूल जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं नहीं मानता ऐसा व्यक्ति धर्म और देश के लिए कुछ कर सकता है। राजा सिंह ने कासगंज की घटना का भी उल्लेख किया और कहा की तिरंगा यात्रा निकाल रहे चंदन की सरेआम हत्या कर दी गई।

चंदन के हत्यारों को फांसी की सजा मिलना चाहिए। यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ उन्हें फांसी दें अन्यथा फंदा हमें भी बनाना आता है। इस अवसर पर सांसद साक्षी महाराज ने कहा, देश में हिंदुओं के नाम अलग-अलग संगठन बनाए गए हैं लेकिन हर संगठन में हिंदू ही हैं। कोई भी राजनीतिक दल हो, उसकी विचारधारा अलग हो सकती है लेकिन उसका सदस्य हिंदू है।
साक्षी महाराज ने कहा, हर हिंदू को एक होकर देशहित के लिए काम करना चाहिए। आपकी नाराजगी सांसद, विधायक से हो सकती है, लेकिन भारत माता और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से नाराजगी नहीं होनी चाहिए। अपनी नाराजगी का दंड इन्हें मत दे देना।
कांग्रेस ने किया बयान का विरोध : राजा सिंह के बयान पर कड़ी आपत्ति लेते हुए युवक कांग्रेस नेता और किसान नेता रमेश राजोरा ने कहा कि हिन्दू धर्म का प्रमाण पात्र बांटने का टी. राजा सिंह और साक्षी महाराज को कोई अधिकार नहीं है। हिन्दू परिवार में जन्म लेने वाला हर व्यक्ति हिन्दू है। उसे संघ परिवार के सर्टिफिकेट की आवश्यकता नहीं।
राजोरा ने यह भी कहा कि विधायक टी. राजा सिंह का यह बयान घोर आपत्तिजनक है। हिंदुत्व की आड़ में ये लोग भाजपा के प्रचार-प्रसार में लगे हैं, लेकिन इनका यह कार्ड अब चलने वाला नहीं है क्योंकि जनता असलियत जान चुकी है।
