मोहम्मद शमी के खिलाफ दहेज और यौन उत्पीड़न मामलों में आरोप-पत्र दाखिल

नई दिल्ली। 30 मई से इंग्लैंड में आईसीसी विश्व कप का आगाज हो रहा है लेकिन उससे पहले ही भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद शमी की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं क्योंकि उनके खिलाफ दहेज उत्पीड़न और यौन उत्पीड़न के मामलों में आरोप-पत्र दाखिल किया गया है। 

शमी उस भारतीय टीम का हिस्सा थे जिसने ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ दिल्ली के फ़िरोज़शाह कोटला मैदान बुधवार को पांचवां वनडे खेला था और उनका विश्व कप में खेलना तय माना जा रहा है।

भारतीय तेज गेंदबाज पर भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 498 ए (दहेज उत्पीड़न) और 354 ए (यौन उत्पीड़न) के तहत आरोप लगाए गए हैं। शमी पर उनकी पत्नी हसीन जहां ने पिछले साल मार्च में घरेलू हिंसा, मैच फिक्सिंग और अवैध संबंध रखने जैसे कई संगीन आरोप लगाए थे।

हालांकि, भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) की भ्रष्टाचार रोधी इकाई ने जांच के बाद फिक्सिंग के आरोपों से शमी को क्लीन चिट दे दी थी लेकिन पुलिस ने मामला खत्म नहीं किया था।

शमी के दक्षिण अफ्रीका दौरे से लौटने के बाद से ही उनका और उनकी पत्नी हसीन का घरेलू विवाद सार्वजनिक हुआ था। हसीन जहां ने अपने फेसबुक अकाउंट पर लगातार कई फोटो पोस्ट करते हुए उन पर लड़कियों के साथ अवैध संबंध रखने का भी आरोप लगाया था।
