करवा चौथ व्रत कर रही हैं, तो आपको ये बातें भी जरूर जाननी चाहिए। सब कुछ करने के बाद भी यदि इन कामों को नहीं किया गया तो आपको व्रत का पूरा फल प्राप्त नहीं होगा। आइए जानते हैं कि ऐसे कौन-कौन से जरूरी काम हैं, जो आपको करवा चौथ के दिन करने चाहिए-
1. अगर आप सास भी बन चुकी हैं, तो आपको अपनी बहू को सरगी देना बेहद जरूरी है। बहू के लिए ससुराल से मिलने वाली सरगी करवा चौथ के व्रत का बहुत जरूरी हिस्सा होती है। आपकी बहू व्रत शुरू करें इससे पहले ही आपको उसे कुछ मिठाइयां, कपड़े और श्रृंगार का सामान देना चाहिए, इसे ही सरगी कहा जाता है।
2. करवा चौथ के दिन सूर्योदय होने से पहले सुबह लगभग चार बजे के आस-पास महिलाएं इसी सरगी को खाकर अपने व्रत की शुरुवात करती हैं।
3. अगर आपकी बेटी की शादी हो चुकी हैं, तो आपको उसके घर बाया भेजना चाहिए। यह रस्म मां और बेटी से जुड़ी है। इसमें करवा चौथ की पूजा शुरू होने से पहले मां अपनी बेटी के घर कुछ मिठाइयां, तोहफे और ड्राय फ्रूट्स भेजती है। इसे बाया कहा जाता है। यदि आप पूजा शुरू होने से पहले ही इसे बेटी के घर पहुंचा दें तो यह शुभ होता है।
4. कथा सुनना भी है ज़रूरी, कई महिलाओं को कथा सुनने में रुचि नहीं होती और इसी वजह से वे कथा में अपना ध्यान नहीं लगातीं। हालांकि इस त्योहार में जितना जरूरी व्रत और पूजा करना होता है, उतना ही जरूरी कथा सुनना भी होता है। इसलिए आपको पूरे मन से कथा सुननी चाहिए।
5. करवा चौथ के गीत भी गाएं, अक्सर इस दिन सभी महिलाएं एक जगह मिलकर कथा सुनती हैं और पूजा करती हैं। आपको भी इनमें हिस्सा लेना चाहिए, ऐसा करने से वातावरण शुद्ध होता है। करवा चौथ का व्रत आपके वैवाहिक जीवन से जुड़ा होता है। इसलिए इस दिन उसी रंग को पहनने की प्राथमिकता दे, जो आपके प्रेम का प्रतीक हो जैसे लाल रंग या आपकी शादी का लहंगा।
6. मेहंदी और 16 श्रृंगार को इस दिन बिलकूल न भूलें।
7. इस दिन अपने पति को प्रसन्न रखें और पति की भी जिम्मेदारी है कि वह आपको भरपूर सम्मान दें। व्रत में आप पूरे समय अपने पति की सेहत और लंबी आयु की कामना करती रहें।
8. इस दिन बिछिया और पायल संभव हो तो नई ही पहनें। अगर संभव नहीं है तो जो पहनी है उसे दूध में धोकर पुन: धारण करें।
