1 चॉकलेट- बचपन में हर कोई चॉकलेट बिस्किट जैसी चीजें खाता है, लेकिन अधिक चॉकलेट खाने से छोटी उम्र में ही दांत खराब होने से लेकर भोजन में रूचि न होने जैसी समस्याएं होती है। इसीलिए हमें बच्चों की इन आदतों पर विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए। उन्हें छोटी- छोटी उपलब्ध‍ियों पर चॉकलेट दें, न कि यह प्रतिदिन उनके जीवन का हिस्सा हो।

2 बर्गर- पिज्जा- बच्चों से लेकर स्कूल व कॉलेज स्टूडेंट्स में पिज्जा बर्गर का क्रेज सबसे अधि‍क होता है। लेकिन यह क्रेज एक ऐसे शौक में तब्दील हो जाता है, जिसकी हमें आदत हो जाती है। कभी कभार या कुछ महीनों में पिज्जा और बर्गर खाना ठीक है, लेकिन आए दिन इनका सेवन हमारे शरीर और पाचन तंत्र के लिए बेहद हानिकारक है। और तो और जब भी पि‍ज्जा या बर्गर खाने जाते हैं, तो साथ में पानी की जगह कोका-कोला या पेप्सी जैसे पेय पदार्थों का उपयोग होता है, जो कभी भी सेहत के लिए ठीक नहीं रहे, बल्कि इससे मोटापे के अलावा लीवर में भी समस्या होती है।

3 धूम्रपान- जैसे-जैसे उम्र बढ़ती है, शौक और आदतों में भी बदलाव आता है। ऐसे में कई बार सिगरेट, शराब, पान, गुटका आदि के शुरूआती शौक, आदत में शुमार होकर हमारे शरीर को खराब कर उसे निष्क्रिय कर देते हैं, हमें पता भी नहीं चलता। लेकिन आने वाले दिनों में इनके दुष्परिणाम सामने आने लगते हैं।

4 बाम या विक्स का प्रयोग - कुछ लोगों की आदत होती है, कि बगैर सर्दी या सरदर्द के वे बाम या विक्स का प्रयोग करते हैं। कुछ लोगों को प्रतिदिन सोने से पहले सर पर बाम लगाने की आदत होती है। इसके पीछे उनका तर्क होता है, कि ऐसा करने से नींद अच्छी आती है। लेकिन असल में यह आदत आपकी लत है, जो आपको नींद लेने के लिए बाम या विक्स पर निर्भर बना रही है।

5 चाय या कॉफी- बहुत अधिक थक जाने पर या अच्छे मौसम में चाय या कॉफी पीना अलग बात है, लेकिन यदि आप अपने शौक के चलते इसका अधिक सेवन करते हैं, तो यकीन मानिए, यह शौक आपके लिए ठीक नहीं है। चाय या कॉफी का अत्यधि‍क सेवन आपकी भूख को मार देता है, और इसके कारण पाचन भी ठीक से नहीं होता।यही नहीं, मधेमुह और पेट संबं‍धी रोगों में इसका विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिए।

6 अचार का सेवन- भोजन के साथ हमेशा सलाद का सेवन तो फायदेमंद है, लेकिन हमेशा अचार खाने का सौदा महंगा साबित हो सकता है।अचार जैसी चीजें केवल तब उपयोग होनी चाहिए जब भोजन का स्वाद बढ़ाना हो, या भोजन अरूचिकर लग रहा हो। हर मौसम में प्रतिदिन इसे खाना, अम्लता को बढ़ाता है। जो अचार बाजार से खरीदे गए होते हैं, उनमें सिरका, साइटिक एसिड आदि मिला होता है जि‍नका अधि‍क सेवन बेहद नुकसान दायक हो सकता है।

7 अत्यधि‍क सौंफ खाना- इसमें कोई शक नहीं कि सौंफ के कई फायदे हैं, और इसका स्वाद सभी को पसंद होता है। लेकिन यदि आपको दिनभर सौंफ खाने की आदत है, तो यह आदत आयुर्वेद के अनुसार आपको बार-बार पेशाब आने की समस्या पैदा कर सकती है।
