रूस पहली बार विश्व कप के क्वार्टर फाइनल में, पेनल्टी शूटआउट में स्पेन को 4-3 से हराया

मॉस्को। मेजबान रूस ने फीफा विश्व कप में रविवार को सबसे बड़ा उलटफेर करते हुए 2010 के चैंपियन स्पेन को पेनल्टी शूटआउट में 4-3 से हराकर पहली बार क्वार्टर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया। निर्धारित 90 मिनट के समय में दोनों टीमें 1-1 से बराबर थीं और जब अतिरिक्त 30 मिनट में मैच का फैसला नहीं हुआ, तब पेनल्टी शूटआउट से फैसला निकाला गया। मैच के हीरो बने रूस के गोलकीपर इगोर अकीनफीव, जिन्होंने दो पेनल्टी का बचाव किया।

विश्व कप के 21वें संस्करण में कई बड़े उलटफेर देखने को मिल रहे हैं। सबसे पहले विश्व की नंबर एक टीम तथा गत चैंपियन जर्मनी बाहर हुई। उसके बाद दो बार के चैंपियन अर्जेन्टीना के बाद अब 2010 की चैंपियन टीम स्पेन भी विश्व कप से बाहर हो गई।

विश्व कप फुटबॉल इतिहास की यह 27वीं और इस विश्व कप की 27वीं पेनल्टी थी। स्पेन को गोल करने के कई मौके मिले लेकिन उसकी फारवर्ड इन मौकों को भुना नहीं सकी। विश्व कप इतिहास में यह पांचवां मौका है जब मेजबान टीम ने पेनल्टी शूटआउट में बाजी मारी है।

विश्व कप में आखिरी बार स्पेन को 2002 में दक्षिण कोरिया के खिलाफ पेनल्टी शूटआउट खेलना पड़ा था। रूसी गोलकीपर की तारीफ करनी होगी, जिन्होंने निर्धारित 90 मिनट के अलावा 30 मिनट के अतिरिक्त समय में भी स्पेन के कई हमलों का सुंदर बचाव किया।

स्पेन ने नियमित और अतिरिक्त समय में गेंद को 79 प्रतिशत समय तक अपने कब्जे में रखा लेकिन वह रूसी रक्षापंक्ति विशेषकर गोलकीपर अकीनफीव को भेदने में नाकाम रहे। आखिर में विजेता का फैसला पेनल्टी शूट आउट से हुआ।

रूस के लिए फेडोर समोलोव, इग्नाशेविच, अलेक्सांद्र गोलोविन और डेनिस चेरीशेव गोल करने में सफल रहे। स्पेन की तरफ से आंद्रेई इनिस्टा, गेर्राड पिक और सर्गियो रामोस ने गोल किए लेकिन कोके और इयगो एस्पास दोनों के शॉट अकीनफीव ने बड़ी खूबसूरती से रोक दिए। रूस (सोवियत संघ) ने इससे पहले 1970 में अंतिम आठ में जगह बनाई थी। वह अब क्वार्टर फाइनल में सात जुलाई को क्रोएशिया और डेनमार्क के बीच होने वाले मैच के विजेता से भिड़ेगा। लीग चरण में अजेय रहे स्पेन ने रूस के खिलाफ सतर्क शुरुआत की। 

शुरू में लग रहा था कि दोनों टीमें एक दूसरे को परखने की कोशिश कर रही हैं लेकिन 11वें मिनट में इग्नाशेविच के आत्मघाती गोल से रूस बैकफुट पर चला गया। यूरी झिरिकोव ने रूसी गोल के बाईं तरफ नाचो को गिरा दिया जिसके कारण स्पेन को फ्री किक मिली। इस्को की फ्रीकिक ने रूसी डिफेंडर इग्नाशेविच को परेशानी में डाल दिया। उन्होंने गोल बचाने के लिए सर्गियो रामोस को भी नीचे गिरा दिया लेकिन गेंद उनकी एड़ी से लगकर गोल में समा गई। रूसी गोलकीपर इगोर अकीनफीव के पास उसे रोकने का कोई मौका नहीं था।

स्पेन के कप्तान को लगा कि गोल उन्होंने किया है। वह जश्न भी मनाने लगे लेकिन जल्द ही साफ हो गया कि गेंद रामोस नहीं बल्कि इग्नाशेविच के पांव से लगकर गई है। इस गोल से इग्नासेविच (38 साल 252 दिन) विश्व कप में सबसे अधिक उम्र में आत्मघाती गोल करने वाली खिलाड़ी भी बन गए। इससे पहले रिकार्ड हांडुरास के नियोल वालाडर्स (37 साल 43 दिन) के नाम पर था जिन्होंने फ्रांस के खिलाफ 2014 में यह गोल किया था। 

रूस ने इसके बाद दबाव भी बनाया। खेल के 26वें मिनट में इग्नाशेविच ने गलती की भरपाई करने की अच्छी कोशिश की। उन्होंने गोलोविन को अच्छा पास दिया जो उसे अच्छी तरह से नहीं संभाल पाए और रूस ने मौका गंवा दिया। गोलोविन के पास 36वें मिनट में भी मौका था लेकिन दो रक्षकों को छकाने के प्रयास में उनका शॉट गोल पोस्ट के करीब से बाहर चला गया।

इसके बाद हालांकि जल्द ही रूस ने बराबरी कर दी। कॉर्नर किक पर आर्टम दजयुबा का हेडर गेर्राड पिक के हाथ से टकरा गया जिससे रूस को पेनल्टी मिली। स्पेन ने इसका विरोध किया लेकिन रेफरी टस से मस नहीं हुए। दजयुबा ने इसे आसानी से गोल में बदलकर लुजनिकी स्टेडियम में नई जान भर दी। 

मध्यांतर तक दोनों टीमें 1-1 से बराबरी पर थी। स्पेन की टीम अकीनफीव को पहले हाफ में ज्यादा परेशान नहीं कर पाई। दूसरे हाफ में 59वें मिनट में डियगो कोस्टा ने इस्को के साथ मिलकर मूव बनाया लेकिन पूरी रूसी टीम गोल बचाने के लिए आ गई। इसके बाद 74वें मिनट में भी रूस ने गोल बचाने की अपनी काबिलियत का अच्छा परिचय दिया जब इस्को के शॉट को फेडोर कुद्रयासोव ने बचाया। 

रूस ने चेरीशेव और समोलोव को दूसरे हाफ में उतारा। इन दोनों के अलावा गोलोविन ने जवाबी हमले पर निगाहें टिकी थी। दूसरी तरफ कोस्टा की जगह आंद्रेस इनिस्टा मैदान पर उतर चुके थे। उन्होंने लगातार हमले किए। इनिस्टा ने 85वें मिनट में गोल की तरफ करारा शॉट भी जमाया लेकिन अकीनफीव ने बड़ी खूबसूरती से इसका बचाव कर दिया।

दूसरे हाफ में कोई भी गोल नहीं कर पाई और मैच अतिरिक्त समय तक खिंच गया जिसमें स्पेन की टीम अधिक संयोजित और प्रतिबद्ध दिखी। नियमित खेल की तरह अतिरिक्त समय में भी गेंद रूसी पाले में ही मंडराती रही जिसके खिलाड़ियों ने फिर से अपनी ताकत गोल बचाने पर लगाई। अकीनफीव ने 109वें मिनट में फिर से बेहतरीन बचाव करके रूसी समर्थकों को राहत पहुंचाई। उन्होंने रोड्रिगो का शॉट गोल में जाने से बचाया। रिबाउंड पर गेंद दानी कार्वाजल के पास पहुंची लेकिन इलिया कुतेपोव ने उनका शॉट रोक दिया।
