भगवान धन्वंतरि 1 नहीं 3 हैं : धनतेरस पर यह जानकारी आपको शर्तिया चौंका देगी

Dhanteras 2021 : धनतेरस के दिन भगवान धन्वंतरि की पूजा होती है। धन्वंतरि को आयुर्वेद का जन्मदाता और देवताओं का चिकित्सक माना जाता है। भगवान विष्णु के 24 अवतारों में 12वां अवतार धन्वंतरि का था। कालांतर में धन्वंतरि ( Lord Dhanvantari ) नाम से एक नहीं बल्कि 3 प्रसिद्ध देव हुए हैं। आओ जानते हैं तीनों का संक्षिप्त परिचय।

1. समुद्र मन्थन से उत्पन्न धन्वंतरि प्रथम : कहते हैं कि भगवान धन्वंतरि की उत्पत्ति समुद्र मंथन से हुए थी। वे समुद्र में से अमृत का कलश लेकर निकले थे जिसके लिए देवों और असुरों में संग्राम हुआ था। समुद्र मंथन की कथा श्रीमद्भागवत पुराण, महाभारत, विष्णु पुराण, अग्नि पुराण आदि पुराणों में मिलती है।

2. धन्व के पुत्र धन्वंतरि द्वितीय : कहते हैं कि काशी के राजवंश में धन्व नाम के एक राजा ने उपासना करके अज्ज देव को प्रसन्न किया और उन्हें वरदान स्वरूप धन्वंतरि नामक पुत्र मिला। इसका उल्लेख ब्रह्म पुराण और विष्णु पुराण में मिलता है। यह समुद्र मंधन से उत्पन्न धन्वंतरि का दूसरा जन्म था। धन्व काशी नगरी के संस्थापक काश के पुत्र थे।

काशी वंश परंपरा में हमें दो वंशपरंपरा मिलती है। हरिवंश पुराण के अनुसार काश से दीर्घतपा, दीर्घतपा से धन्व धन्वे से धन्वंतरि, धन्वंतरि से केतुमान, केतुमान से भीमरथ, भीमरथ से दिवोदास हुए जबकि विष्णु पुराण के अनुसार काश से काशेय, काशेय से राष्ट्र, राष्ट्र से दीर्घतपा, दीर्घतपा से धन्वंतरि, धन्वंतरि से केतुमान, केतुमान से भीमरथ और भीमरथ से दिवोदास हुए।

3. वीरभद्रा के पुत्र धन्वं‍तरि ​तृतीय : गालव ऋषि जब प्यास से व्याकुल हो वन में भटकर रहे थे तो कहीं से घड़े में पानी लेकर जा रही वीरभद्रा नाम की एक कन्या ने उनकी प्यास बुझायी। इससे प्रसन्न होकर गालव ऋषि ने आशीर्वाद दिया कि तुम योग्य पुत्र की मां बनोगी। लेकिन जब वीरभद्रा ने कहा कि वे तो एक वेश्‍या है तो ऋषि उसे लेकर आश्रम गए और उन्होंने वहां कुश की पुष्पाकृति आदि बनाकर उसके गोद में रख दी और वेद मंत्रों से अभिमंत्रित कर प्रतिष्ठित कर दी वही धन्वंतरि कहलाए।
