लॉकडाउन की वजह से भारत की स्थिति थोड़ी कंट्रोल में है और इसकी रोकथाम के लिए पूरे स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों, पुलिस प्रशासन, सफाईकर्मियों एवं अन्य सरकारी तंत्रों की सराहना की जाना चाहिए, जो इस महामारी को रोकने के लिए अपनी जान को खतरे में डालकर अपना बहुमूल्य योगदान पूरी तत्परता के साथ देने में दृढ़-संकल्पित नजर आ रहे हैं।
दरअसल, जीवन में कठिनाइयों की मुश्किल घड़ी मानव जाति के लिए परीक्षा की कसौटी होती है, जो यह जांच करती है कि मनुष्यों में कितना हिम्मत, साहस, विवेक और धैर्य विद्यमान है। वह जीवन की मुश्किल घड़ी में टूटकर बिखरता है या उबरकर फिर से संवरता है? वैश्विक महामारी कोरोना भी पूरी दुनिया के मानव जाति के लिए एक चुनौती बनी हुई है, जो पूरी मानव जाति को निगलने के लिए आतुर है। इसने पूरे विश्व में त्राहि-त्राहि मचा रखी है और लोगों में इसका खौफ दिनोदिन बढ़ता ही जा रहा है।

एक कहावत है कि 'बुरा वक्त रुलाता जरूर है, परंतु जीवन में यह बहुत-कुछ सिखाकर जाता है।' मानव जीवन में अच्छे और बुरे दोनों पल आते ही रहते हैं। जीवन जब अच्छे दौर से गुजर रहा होता है, तब मनुष्य को अच्छे वक्त की कद्र नहीं होती और उसे जिंदगी आसान और सुलभ नजर आती है।
अच्छे वक्त में लोग कुछ ज्यादा ही लापरवाह हो जाते हैं और किसी भी चीज को ज्यादा महत्व नहीं देते हैं, परंतु जब जीवन में बुरे दौर का आगमन होता है तो मनुष्य साहसहीन होकर घबरा जाता है या यूं कहें कि मानव मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से लाचार और असमर्थ महसूस करने को मजबूर हो जाता है। इस स्थिति में बहुत सारे कड़वे अनुभव भी मिलते हैं, जो उसे भविष्य में इस तरह के कार्यों से बचने की शिक्षा प्रदान करते हैं।
बुरे हालात में रूखी-सूखी रोटी भी अमृत के समान लगने लगती है, परंतु इसी रोटी को अच्छे वक्त में कोई खास अहमियत नहीं दी जाती थी। अच्छे वक्त पर लोगों के लिए पैसों की कोई कद्र नहीं थी, परंतु जब वक्त बुरे दौर से गुजर रहा होता है तो वही व्यक्ति पाई-पाई के लिए मोहताज हो जाता है और जरूरत के सामानों को भी खरीदने में असमर्थ महसूस करता है और अपनी इस लाचारी पर फूट-फूटकर रोने पर मजबूर हो जाता है।
लेकिन एक बात जरूर है कि बुरा वक्त रुलाने के साथ जीवन में बहुत कुछ सीख भी देकर जाता है। यह जीवन की सच्चाइयों से परिचय करवाता है और समय के प्रत्येक दौर में कामयाब होने की तरीकों से रूबरू करवाता है। जिस प्रकार रात के बाद सुनहरे दिन का आगमन होता है, उसी प्रकार दु:ख के बाद सुख के आगमन का भी विधान है। अत: बुरे दौर से घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है बल्कि बुरे दौर से सीख लेकर आगामी जीवन को सुखद बनाए रखने के उपाय करने चाहिए।
यह निश्चित है कि जो आता है, उसे एक न एक दिन जाना ही पड़ता है। उसी तरह आने वाले समय में कोरोना वायरस का भी जाना तय है। परंतु इसने वर्तमान में जो तबाही मचा रखी है, वह आने वाले वर्षों में मानव के गहरे मन में अपना डर और भय का वातावरण बनाए रखेगा। आदमी चाहकर भी अपने मन से इसे निकाल नहीं पाएगा।
कोरोना महामारी के आगे विश्व के एक से एक शक्तिशाली देश मजबूर और लाचार होकर ताश के पत्ते की तरह बिखरते नजर आ रहे हैं। इस विपत्ति के आगे पूरे विश्व की आर्थिक स्थिति डगमगा गई है और फिर से आर्थिक स्थिति को संभालने में न जाने कितने वर्ष लग जाएंगे?
इतिहास यह दर्शाता है कि हर त्रासदी और महामारी के बाद पुरानी मान्यताएं टूटती हैं और नई चीजें सामने आती हैं। दरअसल, इस तरह की विपदा विश्व के समक्ष एक परीक्षा की घड़ी होती है, जो भविष्य के लिए सीख देकर जाती है। इससे हमें अपनी कमजोरी और शक्ति का भी अंदाजा लगता है। यह हमें भविष्य के लिए जागरूक और मजबूत बनाती है, साथ ही साथ विपत्ति में एकजुट होकर लड़ने की प्रेरणा भी देती है। मनुष्यों को प्रकृति के साथ छेड़छाड़ न करके प्राकृतिक संतुलन को बनाए रखने के महत्व को भी उजागर करती है।
