गौरतलब है कि कांग्रेस और तृणमूल कांग्रेस सहित ज्यादातर विपक्षी दल आज नोटबंदी का एक साल पूरा होने के अवसर पर ‘काला दिवस’ मना रहे हैं। ममता ने सोमवार को घोषणा की थी कि नोटबंदी के एक साल पूरे होने पर वह अपने टि्वटर का डिस्प्ले पिक्चर काला रखेंगी।

ममता ने मंगलवार को अपने फेसबुक पोस्ट में आरोप लगाया था कि नोटबंदी 'बहुत बड़ा घोटाला' था जिसकी घोषणा कालाधन को सफेद धन में बदलने के निजी हित में की गई थी। उन्होंने अपने फेसबुक पोस्ट में लिखा है, 'नोटबंदी बड़ा घोटाला है। मैं दुहराती हूं, नोटबंदी बड़ा घोटाला है। यदि विस्तृत जांच की जाए तो यह साबित हो सकता है।'
मुख्यमंत्री ने अपने पोस्ट में आरोप लगाया है, 'नोटबंदी कालाधन के खिलाफ लड़ाई नहीं थी। यह सिर्फ सत्तारूढ़ दल के निजी हितों के तहत कालाधन को सफेद धन में बदलने के लिए किया गया था।'
उन्होंने लिखा है, 'विदेशी खातों से कोई काला धन वापस नहीं लाया जा सका। विशेष रूप से, इसका परिणाम बड़ा, बहुत बड़ा शून्य रहा।' नोटबंदी ना आतंकवाद से लड़ सकी, ना वह काला धन से लड़ सकी और ना ही देश के विकास में उसने कोई योगदान दिया। लेकिन नोटबंदी के इस शैतान के कारण देश अपने सकल घरेलू उत्पाद का करीब तीन लाख करोड़ रुपए गंवा चुका है।

ममता ने लिखा है, 'करोड़ों कामगारों, विशेष रूप से असंगठित क्षेत्र के कामगारों ने अपना रोजगार गंवा दिया। किसान भूखा है। 100 से ज्यादा लोगों की जान चली गई।' तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने आठ नवंबर को नोटबंदी के विरोध में अन्य विपक्षी दलों के साथ मिलकर ‘काला दिवस’ मनाने की घोषणा की है। (भाषा)
