नई दिल्ली। इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) के फ्रैंचाइजियों ने टूर्नामेंट के लिए संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (यूएई) रवाना होने से पहले कोरोनावायरस (कोविड-19) महामारी के मद्देनजर अपनी-अपनी टीम के खिलाड़ियों की क्वारंटीन और जांच प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। आईपीएल का यूएई में 19 सितंबर से 10 नवंबर तक आयोजन होना है और टीमें 20 अगस्त के बाद ही यूएई रवाना हो पाएंगी।
मुंबई इंडियंस ने अपने खिलाड़ियों को एक होटल में क्वारंटीन करना शुरू कर दिया है और साथ ही उनकी नियमित कोरोनावायरस की जांच भी की जा रही है। क्वारंटीन अवधि पूरी करने वाले खिलाड़ियों को नवी मुंबई में प्रशिक्षण की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
राजस्थान रॉयल्स की भी दुबई रवाना होने से पहले अगले दो सप्ताह के दौरान अपने खिलाड़ियों और स्पोर्ट स्टाफ की कोरोनावायरस की जांच कराने की योजना है। एक अन्य फ्रेंचाइजी ने भी टीम के अपने भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को एहतियात के तौर पर घर पर ही क्वारंटीन होने के लिए कहा है।
एक फ्रैंचाइजी सूत्र ने कहा, आउटडोर प्रशिक्षण का अभी सवाल नहीं उठता, हम सतर्क हैं और इस बार मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया (एसओपी) के नियमों को लेकर अभी भी सबकुछ अनिश्चित है। हम अंतिम निर्णय की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा, हमने आईपीएल गवर्निंग काउंसिल के समक्ष अपनी चिंताएं रख दी हैं, उम्मीद है कि इस सप्ताह के अंत तक सबकुछ स्पष्ट हो जाएगा ताकि हम आगे की अपनी योजनाएं बना सकें। वर्तमान में आईपीएल ने यूएई में प्रशिक्षण शुरू करने से पहले खिलाड़ियों और सपोर्ट स्टाफ की कोरोनावायरस की चार बार जांच कराने के साथ-साथ उन्हें एक सप्ताह तक पूरी तरह से क्वारंटीन रखने का निर्णय लिया है।

अभी तक आईपीएल के शेड्यूल की घोषणा नहीं की गई है लेकिन सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद के खिलाड़ी डेविड वार्नर और जॉनी बेयरस्टो को अगर सात दिन के अनिवार्य क्वारंटीन प्रक्रिया का पालन करना पड़ा तो दोनों टूर्नामेंट के पहले दो मैच नहीं खेल पाएंगे। इस तरह की परेशानियों का सामना रॉयल चैलेंजर्स के खिलाड़ी आरोन फिंच और मोईन अली को भी करना पड़ सकता है।
इन चारों खिलाड़ियों के आईपीएल शुरू होने के चार दिन पहले 15 सितंबर को इंग्लैंड और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच टी-20 सीरीज समाप्त होने के बाद ब्रिटेन से सीधे यूएई पहुंचने की संभावना है।
इस बीच आईपीएल ने खिलाड़ियों के विज्ञापन शूट और प्रचार संबंधी गतिविधियों को लेकर कड़े नियम भी जारी कर दिए हैं। खिलाड़ियों के लिए विज्ञापन शूट और यूएई रवाना होने के बीच 10 दिनों का अंतर रखना आवश्यक है। इसके अलावा विज्ञापन की शूटिंग सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग को बनाए रखते हुए केवल पांच-सितारा होटल के बॉलरूम में ही की जा सकती है।
चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स अगस्त के दूसरे सप्ताह यूएई पहुंचने की सोच रहा है लेकिन नियमों की अंतिम औपचारिक सूची के बिना इस योजना को स्थगित करना पड़ सकता है। चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने टीम के अपने भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को सूचित कर दिया है कि नियमों की अंतिम सूची आ जाने के बाद वे चेन्नई पहुंचना शुरू कर दें।
कोलकाता नाइटराइडर्स की योजना 21 या 22 अगस्त तक अबूधाबी पहुंचने की है। किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब यूएई रवाना होने से पहले अपनी टीम के भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को एक साथ लाने का प्रयास कर रहा है।(वार्ता)
