बीजिंग/ जेनेवा/ नई दिल्ली। चीन के हुबेई प्रांत की राजधानी वुहान से शुरू हुए जानलेवा कोरोना वायरस की चपेट में आकर विश्व के 65 देशों में अबतक 3,100 से अधिक लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है जबकि करीब 89,000 लोग इस वायरस से संक्रमित हैं।
कोरोना का कहर थमने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहा है लेकिन अभी भी इससे सबसे अधिक प्रभावित चीन के लोग ही हैं। इस वायरस को लेकर तैयार की गई एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक चीन में हुई मौत के 80 प्रतिशत मामले 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के लोगों से जुड़े थे।
वृद्ध लोग अधिक संक्रमित : डब्ल्यूएचओ एवं चीन की ओर से संयुक्त रूप से तैयार की गई एक अन्य रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक इस वायरस से वृद्ध लोगों की अपेक्षा युवा पीढ़ी के लोग कम संख्या में संक्रमित हुए हैं। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार केवल 2.4 प्रतिशत मामलों से 18 वर्ष या उससे कम आयु के लोग संक्रमित थे। 70 या उससे अधिक उम्र के लोगों में मृत्यु दर 8 प्रतिशत है जबकि 80 या उससे अधिक उम्र के लोगों में यह दर 14.8 फीसदी है।
यूएनओ की पेशकश : घातक कोरोना वायरस के प्रकोप पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए 1 करोड़ 50 लाख अमेरिकी डॉलर की सहायता की पेशकश की है। इस निधि का इस्तेमाल विशेष रूप से कमजोर स्वास्थ्य देखभाल प्रणाली वाले कमजोर देशों में किया जाएगा।

इटली, ईरान और दक्षिण कोरिया में हुई वृद्धि : इटली, ईरान और दक्षिण कोरिया में कोरोना वायरस के मामलों में अचानक वृद्धि हुई है। ईरान में जहां बहरीन, इराक, कुवैत और ओमान से जुड़े अधिकांश मामले सामने आए हैं जबकि इटली में अल्जीरिया, ऑस्ट्रिया, क्रोएशिया, जर्मनी, स्पेन और स्विट्जरलैंड में जुड़े मामले सामने आए हैं।
संयुक्त राष्ट्र का वित्तपोषण डब्ल्यूएचओ और संयुक्त राष्ट्र बाल कोष (यूनिसेफ) को जारी किया गया है। यह वायरस के प्रसार की निगरानी, मामलों की जांच और राष्ट्रीय प्रयोगशालाओं के संचालन सहित आवश्यक गतिविधियों में आर्थिक सहायता देगा। डब्ल्यूएचओ ने कोरोनो वायरस के खिलाफ लड़ाई के लिए 67 करोड़ 50 लाख डॉलर जुटाने का आह्वान किया है।
भारत में अब तक 5 मामलों की पुष्टि : भारत में सोमवार को 2 और कोरोना वायरस के मामलों की पुष्टि होने के साथ ही अब तक 'कोविड-19' (नए कोरोना वायरस) के 5 मामलों की पुष्टि हो चुकी है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने बताया कि दिल्ली में 1 मरीज में कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण की पुष्टि हुई है। वह पिछले दिनों इटली होकर आया था।
एक दूसरे मामले में तेलंगाना में 1 मरीज कोरोना से संक्रमित पाया गया है, जो दुबई की यात्रा से लौटा था। दोनों को चिकित्सकों की निगरानी में रखा गया है। इससे पहले 3 मामले केरल में पाए गए थे।
गौरतलब है कि विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) ने कोरोना वायरस को लेकर उच्चतम श्रेणी का आपातकाल घोषित किया हुआ है। कोरोना वायरस 'कोविड-19' के बढ़ते संक्रमण को देखते हुए सरकार ने लोगों को सिंगापुर, दक्षिण कोरिया, ईरान और इटली की यात्रा न करने की सलाह दी है।

डॉ. हर्षवर्द्धन ने की स्थिति की उच्चस्तरीय समीक्षा : स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्द्धन ने 'कोविड-19' की स्थिति की उच्चस्तरीय समीक्षा बैठक के बाद कहा कि जब तक जरूरी न हो, भारतीय नागरिकों को सिंगापुर, दक्षिण कोरिया, ईरान और इटली की यात्रा से बचना चाहिए। उन्होंने 10 फरवरी तक दक्षिण कोरिया, ईरान और इटली की यात्रा करने वाले लोगों को 'अलग रहने' की भी सलाह दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि हम वैश्विक स्थिति पर नजर बनाए हुए हैं।
विमान यात्रियों की होगी जांच : इस बीच नगर विमानन महानिदेशालय ने एक सर्कुलर जारी कर कहा है कि अब इटली और ईरान से आने वाले सभी यात्रियों की भी जांच की जाएगी। इसके साथ ही अब 12 देशों से आने वाले यात्रियों की जांच की जाएगी। चीन, हांगकांग, जापान, दक्षिण कोरिया, थाईलैंड, सिंगापुर, नेपाल, इंडोनेशिया, वियतनाम और मलेशिया से आने वाले सभी यात्रियों की पहले से ही जांच की जा रही है।
देश के 21 हवाई अड्डों, 12 बड़े बंदरगाहों और 65 छोटे हवाई अड्डों तथा नेपाल की सीमा पर देश में प्रवेश करने वाले यात्रियों की स्वास्थ्य जांच की जा रही है।
42 हजार लोगों को दिलाई मुक्ति : पूरे विश्व में कोरोना के संक्रमण से प्रभावित लोगों में से अब तक 42 हजार लोगों को इससे मुक्ति दिलाई गई है। वर्तमान में संक्रमित लोगों की कुल संख्या आधिकारिक रिपोर्टों से काफी अधिक होने की आशंका है।
दुनिया की 60 प्रतिशत आबादी के प्रभावित होने की आशंका : एक महामारी विज्ञानी ने भविष्यवाणी की है कि दुनिया की 60 प्रतिशत आबादी अंतत: प्रभावित हो सकती है यानी महामारी का रूप धारण कर चुके इस बीमारी से अभी निजात की उम्मीद नहीं है।
अमेरिका में कोरोना वायरस से अब तक 6 की मौत : वाशिंगटन से मिले समाचार के अनुसार अमेरिका में खतरनाक कोरोना वायरस से 4 और लोगों की मौत हो गई है जिसके बाद इस वायरस से मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 6 हो गई है।
स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों ने सोमवार को यह जानकारी दी। एक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी जेफ्री दुकिन ने कहा कि 4 नए मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं जिनमें से 2 की मौत हो गई है जबकि पहले से संक्रमित 1 व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई है।
इसके अलावा वॉशिंगटन की स्टेट स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. कैथी लॉय ने बताया कि वॉशिंगटन में कोरोना वायरस के कम से कम 18 मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं और इस जानलेवा वायरस से अब तक 6 लोगों की मौत हो गई है। इससे पहले अमेरिका में 2 लोगों की मौत कोरोना वायरस के कारण हो गई थी।
उल्लेखनीय है कि वैश्विक स्तर पर कोरोना वायरस से अब तक 85,000 लोग प्रभावित हुए है जिसमें से 3,000 से अधिक लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है तथा लगभग 40,000 को उपचार के बाद अस्पतालों से छुट्टी दी जा चुकी है। यह वायरस दुनिया के 50 से अधिक देशों में भी फैल चुका है।
